We are only 1/4 way into the show, and the villains have been revealed. Still, I wonder if there is an even higher…
Two Justice Ministers got told off and one of them was killed with his whole family - I guess it's pretty safe to assume it's not some league of local overlords we're dealing with here. They're going to probably involve some palace politics, too, if there's time.
I don't know what episode you're at but if it was just a simple face swap, then how did she know that she has…
Actually, she's bubbly and talkative when she's with A-Jiang AND Xiao Sheng, so that morose and serious face of hers maybe was reserved for strangers and Pan Yue only (also when she's working)?!
Yay. I managed to not watch any of them LOL. But there are two I'd give a try to, if I can find them anywhere - Nobuta wo Produce sounds lovely, and also Devil Beside You seems interesting. Thank you for the article :D
OMG A-Jiang!!! This is so painful - how can I root for BOTH of them at the same time?! Why doesn't Ancient China allow polyandrous matrimony LOL? It's fantasy anyway, let her marry the both of them :D Just imagine their banter each and every day (and night LOL).
I just love the light-hearted friendship they have, please don't let any hint of tragedy break them apart, they're like sunshine together and I really want that to continue :D
PY continues to be surprised, LOL, he should've known what kind of girl he brought in already, shouldn't he? :D
And then he goes for the kill with his no-dress-code around this room thing, LOL.
I don't need to be convinced, I'm already sold, LOL :D (I mean, I already liked him BALD in TBoY, now with the extra - a LOT of extra - hair he looks ethereal :) )
I'm midway through ep8 (because I said I was going to pace myself and I lied, LOL) and it's freaking hilarious!!
Pan Yue baring it all for the world to see - but then oopsie they fall together and BOTH of them cover the other one's lips, so NO accidental kiss happens hahaha~ These virgins, SMH...
Then the old doctor comes around and THIS gem of a dialogue happens: PY: Is there an illness that makes me see two different people as the same person? Doctor: You need an eye check, STAT. *doctor offers no free psychological treatment, LOL, we don't need those pesky immaterial treatments here, sir~*
The two yamen guys sitting there observing the both of our virgins pacing themselves because they're frustrated (for reasons): Must be something nobles enjoy doing.
Hahahaha~~~~
Now, if only Jiang-ge would appear more often, this would be perfect!
PS I just LOVE those surprised expressions PY makes whenever she comes up with something out of his imagination, LOL. Like each and every time he's taken out of his comfort zone - who, what, why, WAIT!! LOL. Deer in the headlights expression :D
ETA Wait, how could I forget - colour coordinated wine bottles LOL - he's in blue with a blue bottle, she's in red with a red bottle, hahaha, they really had fun with it all on set :)
Germs. She's an Ancient China precursor of Louis Pasteur or Robert Koch, LOL. It appears it's his own voice. DramaWiki…
He speaks as if he's reciting poetry, LOL. I do like that a lot. And it also sounds a bit threatening, as if he's always ready to break into violence as it pleases him. I also do like that a lot, errr, hahaha~ *nervous sweatdrop*
It sounds like he had some voice-acting training, TBH - if you've watched a lot of anime, he has similar tones - controlled, not over-reacting, cool and stand-offish. But then, that's the character himself.
I saw that one, it's still up til the 18th ep on the 22nd of March T_T
I've been through the TTEOTM madness of rescheduling every week or so, LOL, I am really afraid they never did learn the lesson hahaha~ (This IS Youku after all, they never DO learn anything... *sigh*)
Questions:1 - why does she need to wear gloves when exam the corpse2 - is it LXY’s real voice?
Germs. She's an Ancient China precursor of Louis Pasteur or Robert Koch, LOL.
It appears it's his own voice. DramaWiki posts the voice actors for everyone else in the main cast (they're all mostly dubbed by voice actors) but not for LXY, I guess he dubbed himself. (Lovely voice, BTW, I first thought he's dubbed by the VA who did LWJ's voice in TU, but presumably it's not the case.)
I can't get over how much Li GeYang looks like a young Lee JoonGi...
Also, I'm pacing myself, LOL, this drama rocks! I don't want to go into its draught period with no remaining eps to tidy me over - did they release an updated airing schedule?
2004 - Soo HoSung - Give My Love (from Save the Last Dance for Me) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMaaVAnsTiQ2007…
Haha, I'd love to help but I was a movie and anime-watcher mostly before the 2000s, then watched mostly j-doramas, finally hopped onto the kdrama train (but sparingly since they didn't use to be everywhere like today and the internet wasn't so fast, LOL), and then finally found cdramas, Thai dramas, Taiwanese dramas... I already have lots of favourites - but the cdramas are so many and of so many types and there are so many good songs and GREAT songs and AMAZING songs it's basically a hopeless job for me :D
My favourites list involves mostly new(ish) names and new songs, since I've only been watching from TU (and a few cdramas in the back, mostly historicals/costume dramas). But I'd LOVE to try new songs (and maybe new dramas) because of such an article :D
I'd have had a reaaaaally long list of BGM OSTs anyway, LOL, from all kinds of movies and dramas alike :)
And you should hear me singing in the shower too - well, no you shouldn't, I can't sing LOL. But I do try. Loudly. Even BGM themes hahaha~
2022 - JongHo (ATEEZ) - Gravity (from Reborn Rich) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DPx9mp5IoY (Also, shameless plug for ANYthing ATEEZ, because guys, they literally light the scene on fire when they're singing. For a not so random song, pick Deja Vu, Guerrilla, Bouncy, Good Lil Boy, Fever - I'm telling you, ANYthing. And everything :D)
For 2024 the jury is still out, LOL. And I am a BGM OST girl myself, anyway, so I tend to fall for BGM more often.
I'd LOVE a Chinese drama OST version of this, thank you for all the hard work on this article!
OMG Bong Hwan-ah made it in, LOL. That drama is totally bonkers hahaha~
Also, Michael Learns to Rock's Eternal Love is still in my playlist :D Heize's Round and Round was pretty obsessive for the time I watched Goblin, though that drama hits better with the BGM for me (I still love and replay Lost Memories, it's an amazing theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0yMthHYqpI )
My list would be a bit different though (haven't even watched all the dramas in your list, LOL). Sooo... it would go something like -

Trust in LXY, he CAN act and then some :D
