It's a genetic problem, the son gets surgery and is fine, and the rest of the drama shows him as happy and active (they don't dwell much on how the problem advances or not. So it's implied he's basically steadily healthy.)
Have you checked out this Spotify playlist? Perhaps, it has the one you are looking for. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1nSDO3ppeef8RppeTUCbxO?si=xeF9RuxMTpmFKNVssqO8vA
Those are official, I already have them (plus, there are about 22 songs+themes in the BGM part, and Spotify only has about 11 of them. A more complete list is already on Youtube:
This is the latest one that I know (not officially, quality is meh): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjyDWgUdSaA…
I know them, thank you :)
But I want the themes they used in the final eps (like the one of the demon wedding procession, which was amazing) and those aren't available anywhere yet. I've been re-watching the eps just for that music, LOL.
I liked it very much in the beginning, mostly because it was pretty different from what I've been watching lately... but by the end I started FFD-ing. A bit of overpreaching, a bit of obvious get-married-have-kids-they're-cute! propaganda (LOL, it's not even the only one, I see Please Be My Family is going along the same route and I'm pretty sure there's going to be a LOT of them these years given the policy changes), a bit of deus-ex-machina last minute saves... Everybody is rich, everybody has first-world-rich-people's problems, the villains are cartoonish, the good guys fart rainbows etc. So yeah. And not to mention the obvious PPL, LOL, I thought cdramas went unaffected mostly but maybe modern ones aren't exempt.
So yeah, fluff and cute people, nice chemistry (but the best is still among dad and kid, for some reason), annoying SML and SFL, way too obnoxiously naive TML and cynical TFL... But all's well that ends well. I was entertained and that's all that mattered at the time.
So I delayed watching the last 4 episodes. Currently finishing episode 38 now. Anymore recommendations after I…
Oh No! Here Comes Trouble is a great taper-off from TTEOTM.
It's not romance, more like bromance power! but it's short, sweet (sad at times and hilarious at other times), the conclusion is most satisfying and it's definitely not the same genre as TTEOTM (this drama SERIOUSLY spoils any other xianxia for me, there'll be a while till I get hooked on another).
Anyone knows how TTJ break the shield of heart scale casted by XL during the crow attacks..since it quite powerful…
The shield was not using the Heart Guarding Scale, he gave it to YBC for her personal protection. The shield was just a magic//qi barrier to stop lesser demons (the crows weren't particularly powerful if you think about it, but the attack was unexpected and there were a lot of them). TTJ didn't attack her, so the scale didn't have to protect her.
Drama ending: they made a final bait-and-switch and had them separate for a bit. Then WWX is playing the flute…
MDZS is definitely a phenomenon. But the author's (Mo Xiang Tong Xiu) other novels are also very well known - Heaven Official's Blessing / TGCF also got a drama adaptation (but it's in post-production and there are new rules that might delay it) and an audio drama and there's a first season donghua, too. Scum Villain's Self-Saving System (SVSSS) has a donghua too.
And there are plenty other famous danmei novels - 2ha/hyx (The Dumb Husky and his White Cat Shizun, by Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat) for example, got a drama adaptation and the cast is perfect for it. It's also delayed a bit by the new rules, but we're all hoping. A Thousand Autumns by Meng Xi Shi has a donghua based on it, too. And there's a gazillion Priest adaptations - Word of Honor for example is based on Faraway Wanderers and Guardian also got a drama. One of those adaptation just released 8 eps and then got disappeared, LOL, though it's still in the currently airing list.
There's plenty of different offerings from cweb danmei novels, LOL.
Hahaha, poor Bichen :D Well, WWX is shameless and that's everything.
The audio drama includes small parts and sounds from the beginning of the papapa scenes (kissing sounds, sighs, you know). But it also includes the infamous confession - the drama couldn't include it, obviously - where all the Jianghu got treated to WWX declaring he wants to sleep with LWJ everyday LOL. And that's all that got stuck in LWJ's mind hahaha.
The novel has plenty of sweetness and some papapa, but the extras are... extra LOL. But you already knew LWJ has a fetish for tying WWX up, if you read the novel - if you haven't but skipped to the extras, do try the novel, it's great!
I wonder what is the fantasy martial arts project. *what does UPSSS stand for?
A Thousand EYEBROWS?! Says Google Translate. LOL.
For a second my heart stopped when I misread Qian Jie Mei for Qiang Jin Jiu because if anyone was ever going to play Shen ZeChuan, I'd have wanted him to be LYX (because SZC is the definition of seductive bastard badass).
Classically trained ballet dancer, he has the power and the grace and the moves. That's (mostly) from And the…
I don't think he dubbed himself in ATWIL, when TTEOTM started I couldn't recognize his voice, LOL (and I did watch AoL, LIS and ATWIL before TTEOTM, too).
ATWIL got boring when they started relying heavily on the romance (if you think blood spitting is too much, wait until you see star crossed lovers throwing their lives away for each other REPEATEDLY and then SUFFERING (yes it deserves majuscules LOL) for AGES (like three eps of drunken FL going around suffering from love). But there's a political underplot that's pretty interesting, a mad prince that stole part of the show (because he's the convincing mad type, LOL, I loved him) and I was pretty mad the personal side of the politics didn't get as much screen time as I'd have wanted. And there are pretty well developed side-charas, I have to admit.
Other than that, there wasn't sadly all that much chemistry between LYX and his FL, despite some moments that seemed to really work. I don't know why it didn't work all the way, but he did his part very well (there are quite a few moments I go back and rewatch.) Maybe he needs someone to spark off him in order for the chemistry to work - he does it effortlessly with Bai Lu, and there's something there with Yang Zi, too, in AoL, that wasn't in ATWIL (or not most of the time).
We'll see how well he works with Chen FeiYu if 2ha ever gets released, LOL.
The end is a HE.

I seriously need to rewatch the few girls-only parts in the first eps. I've been mesmerised by hostage prince and keep replaying the same bits LOL
Didn't she see him in the Mirror of the Past? I think he was in it for a bit, I might be wrong.

But I have no luck in this life...
Come on CWN, come on already T_T
