this drama is so charming, no cliches, nothing boring (because u've seen it a 100 times before). I haven't skipped any bit of this drama cause it's all so fresh and unique. Love it.
And quite an unexpected ending, ha?) I mean, if it is a standard k-drama it would end 180 opposite
The movie was good in a whole. And despite many may criticize it but i think the ending was perfect. I was waiting for "they lived happily ever after" (who wasn't, ha?), but let's be honest.
He is a spy, his friends, his mom and maybe even his believe in the Republic have just died, the only thing left was his false family in the village where he can't be back (as far as he is a spy and should be imprisoned at least). And at this very moment Hae Jin is going crazy cause don't really understands what's going on with his childhood hero. The only beloved person left near Ryu Hwan is fusilladed, so he just covers him. I don't know was it a decision or just an emotion, impulse, but this was a truth.
If they would surrender at discretion of South, I wouldn't ever believe in that. As well as his returning to the village. Nobody EVER let spy just live his happy life. So for this truth even a sad one I will give this movie the credits.
