Tuty deserves Best Supporting Actress award
Tuty reminded me so much of my dog who passed away in March, down to the grumpy possessiveness and it made my heart hurt in a good way every time she came on screen haha

Excellent. Truly excellent.

I only have one thing to ask. Can we please...PLEASE...have a happy ending coming for Bas? He tore out all my heartstrings in the last episode.

On Friend Forever Nov 22, 2020
I've only watched up until ep 9 since I can't find ep 10 yet so my thoughts are based off that. There's nothing super outstanding about this series, though I do think they have some young actors with good acting potential. None of the pairings have had much development, but Tin and Sea's soft boy friendship (flirtship?) is really cute.

I know a lot of people are having trouble with Oil but personally, I love him. He's probably one of my favorite characters in the series. I understand why he's allowing himself to open up to something new. If you think about it, he's been in love with Tan his whole life without much indication that his feelings are reciprocated. Neither of them has made it very clear they have feelings for each other, and Oil clearly thinks Tan just sees him as a little brother. I don't think he's brave enough to test the waters to see if there might be something more. I imagine him potentially ruining the relationship with the most important person in his life he has left is too much risk. Also, there's the threat of Kao. Oil understands that Kao could potentially try to hurt Tan with any evidence that they might be in a relationship. That's two major reasons to put distance between himself and Tan. I also think he was surprised to find he has feelings for Khun, and since he is single I think he's decided to try to move on.

One thing that is STILL confusing to me about this series is It. Why do so many people want to be his friend? Why does he have so much power over everyone? I just don't get it. He's a bully and quite honestly a horrible friend. I've never understood everyone treating him like he's some kind of God. It's bizarre.

On Ben X Jim Nov 20, 2020
Title Ben X Jim
This series is surprisingly complex. I think the one character that I just can't fully get behind is Flo. She just seems like such a horrible friend. I was gratified to see that Jim put a pause on things with his relationship when it seemed he realized his feelings for Ben. I didn't really appreciate the way he seemed to bait and tease him, but I think it was also his way of working through what he was feeling perhaps?

I am a little concerned by how possessive he is, but I know some people like that in their partners. As long as it's not crossing the line into restrictive/abusive behavior to each his own I guess. I do think Ben does like that in Jim, and maybe in general, considering his previous relationship choices. He seems to like to feel needed and like he's his partner's whole world. Which is honestly pretty great character-building considering we know that his parents make him feel incapable. I actually really like Ben, even if I can't fully relate to characters that are so invested in their love interest they put everything on the line and in the process might lose a bit of themselves.

I love Olan but mainly because I love the actor portraying him lol. I'm a bit on the fence about him as a character. What's happening with him and Yana? That just such a weird turn. Are they trying to make it look like they're going to get together or what? I kind of wish Ben had been able to put things with Jim in the past to give Olan a chance because I think it would have been perhaps a healthier relationship for him, but who knows. Olan does seem to have some issues with boundaries. Probably what I like the most so far is that none of the characters are very black and white, they all have pretty realistic character flaws that I think could be relatable to viewers. I think the next episode will be really interesting. I swear though, it was obvious that the end wasn't consensual and Ben wasn't attempting something with Leo, I really hope Jim doesn't slide back into asshole territory. So far this isn't my favorite series or the best we've seen even recently, but I am enjoying it more so than I thought I would in the beginning.

Jesus ... they get a lot of criticism. Both Mean and Plan responded to it and "apologized" for failing to please…
Uh..where the hell is Mame's apology? And New's? They were in charge of the writing and direction, the actors can only do so much with what they're given. Though I will say that casting some of the actors in this as leads was a huge mistake (but again that's not their fault).

Just saw some news saying that there in the works of Season 3, even thoughts of casting P'Saint and that P'New…
If this is true, it's because they know Saint and his fans are likely the only way to salvage what's left. I thought this was disproved though.

Well. I'll be honest in saying I'm glad that's over. Definitely in the classification of one of the worst series released in BL this year. Now with the accusations of homophobia surfacing, that have honestly been circulating since the first season, I really hope we end this here and don't continue on. The last scene seemed to make it apparent they're looking to fish fans in again with the promise of more AePete, probably since this ended up being such a trainwreck and they realize adding that couple back might salvage the money train. I'm not one to judge blindly but if the bullying and homophobia allegations start to take shape through more serious accusations by the party that has been targeted I'm done with my support of all of the actors in question. I've tried to keep doubts about some of their behavior to myself and give some of them the benefit of the doubt since we're not aware of what fully happens behind the scenes but there's been some shithead behavior/comments that have left me questioning. It's all just a little too suspect for me to be comfortable at this point.

Looks like Thanu's making an appearance next episode! I'm excited to see Bas and Dun on screen together, from their behinds they look like they have such a good rapport. I'm really hoping he's who Yu ends up with, I'm over Pha tbh haha. Especially after this episode. I don't care what the reason is, how are you going to break up with someone sans explanation but still keep them on the hook with their feelings instead of allowing them to have closure and move on? Yu shouldn't have to wait for Pha to get his shit together. Since Dun and Bas have been promoting so much together (Bas is literally all over Dun's social media haha) I'm going to assume Thanu and Yu are end game for now...also can I say that Bas crying got me right in the feels this episode? I really liked that there was some dramatic tension between Mark and Kit this episode too. Overall I'm really enjoying this series, it's actually above my initial expectations right now haha.

Aren't these stories usually fanfiction from Wattpad?
The original story is a fanfiction of 2Moons where the author only kept Kit, Wayo, and Ming as characters and basically re-did them in a different story that centers around Ming/Kit (though in this story they are called Mark and Kij, they actually changed Kit's name back for this series). 2Moons is a novel originally posted on a platform like Wattpad lol most of the BL we get are like that or they are graphic novels. What happens is they get popular and are made into print versions (publishing deal like @Kyuubikage said) and then get picked up by production companies.

I just have to sigh. Overall this was a severe disappointment, but at least I don't think it ended as horribly as it started. Not going to lie, seeing Ae's flashback at the end made me nostalgic for what could have been, but it is what it is. I won't re-hash my feelings on the obvious in TinCan or KlaNo, and TumTar were so nonexistent they may as well have not been a part of the series. One thing that kind of upset me is the Dad. He's the worst sort of parent. He's not addressing anything and instead completely glossing over the fact that Tul has severe mental issues. Instead, he's having Tin go search out Hin as a bandaid solution? That's like putting a muzzle on a rabid dog and declaring him cured. It seriously creeps me out the way Hin is just this sacrificial lamb for Tul, he was given to Tul as a child and raised to feel like Tul owned him, to the point he allows anything and everything Tul does including Tul hurting him, like is no one else seriously disturbed by that?! The dad knows Tul was abused as a child and that a lot of his issues are stemming from that but yeah, let's just bring the boyfriend back, that will make him a functioning human being again. It's just, gross. Plus as Hin said, Tul's background doesn't excuse anything he's done but yet the people in his life are doing exactly that rather than trying to actually help him work through his issues. But none of this is surprising considering Mame does a pisspoor job at actually developing and carrying through healthy storylines for her characters, that's not even to mention the constant plot holes people have to navigate. I'm sure there are people who enjoyed this, and there were moments that I found enjoyable as well, it just didn't end up being for me. It felt like a serious waste of potential.

Count me as someone not supporting the Tul/Hin relationship. From what I gather it's a master/slave thing... which,…
They shouldn't pick up any more of her work, but I'm sure they will. If they do a series based on TulHin I'm rioting. When the novel was translated people freaked on international social media but she just defended it as she does, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see it come up.

Commercials? Are you talking about ads on Dailymotion? If so, don't get those because I use an adblocker haha so no interruptions. I recommend them, they're free and life-changing.

Count me as someone not supporting the Tul/Hin relationship. From what I gather it's a master/slave thing... which,…
GRAPHIC WARNING: Well it depends on what you mean by consensual when someone is being coerced into something because they think they're owned by another person. Tul gets off on actually seriously hurting Hin, to the point he bleeds and is crying during intercourse. This might be TMI but there's even a point in the first few moments of the novel that Tul mentions liking how Hin's blood is like a form of lube since he doesn't prepare him before hand. That was when I noped out. It's sick. Like really, just so wrong. Nothing about that novel can be described as BDSM, the consent is suspect at best and they never discuss the boundaries of their relationship, it's just Tul forcing himself on and hurting Hin and Hin just allowing it because he feels he has to and that by doing so he's "helping" Tul. I get some people are into that, but it's hugely disturbing for me, to say nothing of how triggering it could potentially be to someone going into it unaware. I'm sure, as happens with Mame's writing in particular, that a relationship people want to support is built from the toxicity around that, spun in a very palatable way where Tul is someone who just needs love and understanding especially because he was an abused child but, yeah. It gives me the creeps. Particularly because that's a common thing with people who are abused, that they go on to abuse others, but nothing about that should be used as fodder for a romantic fluff piece. Especially when the character in question needs therapy, not a relationship that miraculously supposedly changes him.
