yeah! a stalker guide to Ohno-kun, what an excellent idea! thanks a lot (though i have seen all the dramas you…
i wanted to add that you can also see him in Yellow tears (with other arashi members) where his role seems to fit his personality, and in Yomino Kimyona Monogatari - Hajime no ippo, a short and funny special. Btw, does anyone know where I can see Guests of Room 0 in streaming?
And... what do you mean by marriage?
yeah! a stalker guide to Ohno-kun, what an excellent idea! thanks a lot (though i have seen all the dramas you have fully presented). I have spent the whole 2012 year with this man stuck in my head and my eyes. I liked him in Maou, I was really surprised by his performance because I thought like many that he was just an average actor before. but my favorite is definitely his portrayal of Enomoto-san, whom I fall in love in some kind of ways. this character deeply appeals to me. i felt so lonely after the end of the show.
what is amazing about this man is that is able to perform, and to perform very well, in different kind of arts. his voice is beautiful (though I don't really like his solos), and he was able to make me interested in dance, which I didn't care about before I heard of him. I would like to see his pictural art too (if someone knows where to watch it, maybe on the net...)

konban wa!(though I don't know if it's day or night in your country) thanks for the reply. I didn't have this impression about Kimura, but that's right he must have become a "brand" in some kind of ways. About Sakai Masato, I think I can understand what you are meaning. In Nankyoku Tairiku he smiles that way, i guess. That's what attracted me in his character... In legal high it's different, but when thinking about it, we can have the same feeling about him.
You 're an architect!!! whaou!! that's a job i wanted to do (but i'm pretty bad at drawing, and I know nothing about architecture).i was dreaming more than really thinking seriously about it. but I'm still fascinating by the job. Lucky girl! I'm working in a kind of junior high school, and i'm dealing with everything but pedagogic stuff : logistical matters, budget & financial matters, human ressources. administrative work in fact!

(sorry my answer is too long for one case!!). i said that every character is excellent cause every actor is excellent. And i was never bored watching this drama. I cried a lot, and I ended rating it 10, which is quite rare for me. I first saw Sakai Masato in it, and i fell for his smile too. i wonder if it's the "silent smile" you are talking about...
About that scary sensation, I think I can understand it. everyday, i'm only feeling relieved when I'm going back home after work and can turn on my computer in order to enter dramaland, the only place i'm feeling at ease somehow... 2 or 3 worthy hours per day with our wonderfull drama actors, that's just...well, scary.

thanks for the recommendations. i will think of Shinsengumi, cause it looks interesting, but i'm not sure i would be able to bear a so long drama (all the more that each episode lasts 45min). and i'm adding Joker... on my PTW list, cause it looks really interesting (looks like some drama in which you are torn because you love the main lead but he is not a nice guy... but well, for Sakai-san, i will bear it!!!)
About Nankyoku Tairiku, of course I HIGHLY recommend it. of course if you are not a fan of Kimura, that could be a problem. if you don't like dogs, also... but really this drama is worthy. I first avoided it cause I felt, like you, that it could be boring to see some fellows and dogs in the snow in Antarctic, with nothing but snow around them. But I am glad I've watched it. It's maybe the most heartwarming drama i've ever seen. every character is just excellent (cause every actor

thanks for the answer. i would let it for times I have nothing else to do, then.

oh, you're a fan of Sakai Masato! I've discovered him in Nankyoku Tairiku (and I loved his character), and have adrored him in Legal High! Can you recommend me some good dramas with him (don't mind the genre)? Thanks a lot in advance.
"It?s because of Sho-kun? TV programs that I can cheer up and can study hard. (Kana Hanamura, Papadol)" never seen the drama, but I find this sentence really interesting. it appeals to me in some kind of way.

thanks for sending friend request. whaou you've got quite amazingly long lists. do you really plan to watch all of them?
I really liked those movies, though I'm not a fan of bloody things. you can go through that cause the story is really great. That kind of movies which makes you reflect on life, and on what is important in life (especially the second one, perfect answer). I didn't really like the perfect answer given in the movie of the same name, but that's also what makes the two movies very good ones (not sure it is clear, but I don't want to spoil).
I haven't seen Another Gantz though : is it worthy? did it give more information concerning the story? or is it okay to not watch it?
I too like the idea of discovering movies from other countries. i'm not sure I will add them on my PTW list, though, cause they don't fit my taste. Except, maybe, Farewell my concubine, I thought it was some kind of a classic... I don't like mafia movies, but you seem to have really liked Infernal affairs... damn, now i'm confused...
but thanks a lot for the recs.
otanjoubi omedetou Sho-san!!! I wonder how was your first year in adulthood... i'm looking forward Nazotoki the movie!

Hey, how are you ? I'm fine cause it's finally the week-end after a very tiring week at work...
Yeah, I need to let a message on Sho's "profile"!
Concerning Priceless, it's pretty good. Kimura is excellent as usual, and the drama is addictive too. i'm a fan of Karina, and she is good too. Plus it's all subbed now, so you should definitely give it a try. hope you will enjoy it as much as I do (which makes me think I still have 2 episodes left...). see you soon!
Thanks for the article, i'm about to have dinner right now so it's perfect timing for me! But i'm not sure my salad would be as tasty as all those nice dishes... and it makes me want to have mikado (pocky) for dessert (that would definitely ruined my diet....)
Thanks again, i was wondering how to find informations about japanese food for my next trip to Japan, but you gathered everything in one page!!! that would be pretty handy!!!
BTW, i'm not really fond of dramas about food. is Hungry that good?
Happy Bithday Kohinata-san!!! I'm never disappointed by his performances, one of those less known actors (though I'm sure a lot of drama addicts know his face if not his name) I always enjoy in a drama cast. I really loved him in Hero and Kisarazu Cat's Eyes, I like when he plays soft men. But he could be a very convincing bad guy!!!
well in fact it's just that you have rated some of the dramas I like far below my ratings... i've seen more dramas than you because I'm watching them for more than 2 years... and there are a lot i haven't seen you have already on your completed list.
ah, and Ketibachan is right, second season of Bloody Monday is really good too!
jaa ne!

Thanks for asking and welcome on MDL. I hope you will have fun on this website, and of course you will discover many good dramas. I see you are only watching J-dramas, like me in fact. But we don't seem to like the same stuff. No problem, we could have a lot to discuss about!!
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
Has anyone seen this? The summary seems rather interesting so is it good? ^^
I've watched it because of Sakurai san, and I liked it. it was sometimes long, especially in the beginning, but I finally ended liking it. the plot is quite original, and some scenes are really good. first time Sakurai san makes me cry. i adore the relationship between father and son.
episodes are short so you could give it a try, but you should try to see a couple of them before deciding if you want to continue or not.
really entertaining article, thnaks a lot! i think i won't be able to sleep before i have made my own cast...…
I do agree about the fact that Matsuda would probably be the best choice for Snape, but Kimura is just a fancy of mine.
Concerning Abe, he is one of those actors that has a natural authority.
And... what do you mean by marriage?
