sorry if it doesn't make any sense, but I was shouting in front of my computer, like :Arrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh you changed your avi!!!. I am so confused now, as if Einstein didn't stick his tongue anymore, or as if a compass did'nt show the north anymore. Will need time to get used to your new one. sorry, it really doesn't make any sense....

(sorry, i'm very talkative tonight). We can share a lots of items, our cultural backgrounds and our daily way of life make our countries still very different. When I went to Japan in 2011, I was sure I would be able to deal with it because I knew I would find some things that are similar to ours, even if I do not master the language. But that was quite disturbing. even after having seen many dramas, having read some information about Japan, I was sometimes at a loss in the country, especially when dealing with Japanese people. What strike me the most was how you can feel, as a foreigner, the weight of the society in everyday life (like when waiting for the train, or in restaurants...). not to say that Japanese people spent their time looking at you as if you were an alien...
Sorry to have been so long, a very interesting point to discuss. Good night, multi-tasking girl! Ganbatte ne!

(not enough place once again...)
you are right when saying Korea and Japan are so different despite being so close. I wonder if it is because Japan has spent more than 300 years with it's frontiers totally close. Being an island helped a lot. They have created their own culture without considering what happened on the continent. I don't know Korea's history, so I don't know how different they can be from China, which is so closed. I guess that the expansion of communism and the cold war played big roles in making those countries different from each other.
Maybe we are sometimes fooled (like I was at the beginning) because we may think that as Asian countries are developped ones, they are closed to ours (for example there are brands from there which are sold in our countries, and there are things from our countries (at least from mine) or which comes from the US that are sold there).

(one message is not enough...) What I mean is that some things would look strange to my people like the fact that even if they fall in love, we barely see couples kissing, or on the contrary, seeing people kneeling in order to apologize or to beg for a very important favor (absolutly unlikely to happen in my country). Japanese people are in the same time able to be very proud and to do very humiliating things (that is what makes me uncomfortable sometimes in front of my screen). I don't think french people could really see things which look like the Japanese variety shows.
On the other hand, I like how they are sometimes able to deal with some burning issues in a very natural manner, with very stricking scenes (bullying at school in Life, homosexuality in Tumbling or Dare yori mo, Mama Aisu...).

I think our conversation has encouraged me because i've just started a korean drama today, but it's City Hunter. I think I need something light for the moment (though the first episode was quite disturbing). But I will definitely watch White Christmas. I'm just afraid of being too scared (well, i've got some blankets to hide behind, just in case...). That's right that Asian people are very different from our countries. But I think it is because their culture is very different from ours. I don't really know much about Korea, but what I can understand from Japan is that their moral limits are put on diffrent points than those from your country or mine. Maybe a show like White Christmas would be more allowed in France, but I think that Asian dramas in general would look too awkward for average people here (no despising intention in my words).

Nice article, thanks! I only watched her in Gokusen (but was not so fond of her character), and you cannot forget her after watching it. I'll add Joshi Deka and Untouchable on my PTW list : need to know more about her.
Before watching the first pic, I was not aware she was so beautiful...

about the friend request, after a few days, I had the same reaction that you and I thought it was strange to get along very well with you without even asking. lol.
about your work, I don't understand : are your working, or are you still studying, or are you a wonderful multi-tasking woman who is able to do several things at the same time? At least, as the japanese say : ganbatte ne!
and when you have time to watch Maou, can you tell me what you think of the drama, please?

it's right I don't watch korean dramas. not that I got something against them, but i cannot bring myself to watch some of them. part of the reason is that even if I don't speak Japanese, i am used to listening to the language, and I find it more difficult with korean language. But maybe the main reason is that korean dramas are too long for me. I need a drama that I can watch within one week (i cannot watch more than 2 epi per day). that's not the case with korean ones. when I watched Coffee prince, i felt about the 11th or 12th epi that things where lasting although almost everything was pretty ready for an end. but I'm sometimes bored with Japanese dramas when I watch two season of the same serie one after another. Maybe am i just not adventurous enough. Some korean dramas seem interesting though (49 days, White Christmas, City Hunter) and I hope I will be able to begin them one day...

Thanks for accepting the friend request!
It's not that I think Ohno is better, cause in fact Nonomiya has certainly more acting skills than Ohno, it's just that those two dramas were really good and made a better effect on me than Nino's dramas. But Nino is in fact pretty good in almost all the drama's have seen. Maybe what i'm saying is quite confusing, sorry.
About Maou I don't know if there is any difference with the korean version, so I don't know if you will like it or not.
About Quizz show 2, maybe the rating are higher cause more people have seen it (cause maybe Sakurai is more famous than the actors of the first season). To be honest, i think the first season was better, cause the one who plays the MC was really good. Quizz show 2 has pretty the same scenario and the same tricks than the first one, and I'm unable to say if Sakurai was so good or not in it. I liked Tokio a lot!

you should'nt have asked such a question about Arashi, i could give too much answers!! Well the five of them are playing in dramas. Since you already know about Aiba and Matsujun, i will only recommend some with the other three.
for Nino : Yamada Taro monogatari (with Sakurai), Ryusei no kizuna*, Freeter ie wo kau... (btw, in Letters from Iwo Jima Nino has a role but i don't know which).
Sakurai : Nazotoki wa dinner no ato de*, Tokio*, Quizz show 2, Tokujo Kabachi*...
and last but not least, Ohno. You could check the article which was in the home page. I will just recommend my two favorites : Maou**** (highly highly recommended) and Kagi no kakatta heya**** (my favorite)
I don't know if some will fit with your tastes, i've given very different ones. thoses with * are the best imo, but i'm trying to be objective... they are also in movies together like Saigou no yakusoku, Pikanchi...

i don't mind answering : 31 and a half (the half is important!) I'm also waiting for the subs for Last Hope. But i'm worried : will Aiba's drama ever be subbed? i'm still waiting for the last episodes of Mikeneko, which I really liked. I'm also waiting for the next drama starring my lovely Sakurai-san. and for Nazotoki the movie... and i'm still uncertain if there would be any continuation for Kagi no kakatta heya. the ending was so frustrating...
Btw, did you learn french? I'm sorry i'm unable to write anything in your language... so it will be english with some Japanese words!!
jaa ne.
