In the end, Dylan got the short end of the stick once again.😔 His reunion with Huajun lasted less than 3 minutes! Surely, there must be scenes that were deleted. I want to see Jiashu and Huajun get marry and have babies. I want to see Jiashu reunite with his family and Double Happiness. As well, I want to see the Japanese cop that bullied Jiashu's father get dealt with.
Honestly, I was too chicken to watch this drama because I thought this would be super depressing, but I watched this for Dylan. haha. 🥰Then I was hooked from beginning to the end, because every episode was SO GOOD. I got attached to the characters early on and cried buckets of tears. 😭😭😭 This drama moved me and opened my eyes to a huge bit of history I didn't know. What a great journey it was to follow the joys and sorrows of these students and teachers who risked their lives and devoted their strength to preserve knowledge and education to restore their country. I cried when Bi's father told him, "Your battlefield is in the classroom!" A soldier does not need to die on the battlefield to become the most glorious. The creators and actors deserve a deep bow! Dylan’s performance was incredible, especially when he ran through all those bombing spots. 🔥🔥🔥The cinematography is awesome. All the actors in this drama are outstanding and very natural and believable. I love the sweet romance between the ML and FL (although there were a lot of deleted scenes). Jiashu, your way of chasing girls is a physics genius! hehe. 💌Fortunately, the other party is a top student also, otherwise Huajun still don’t understand your romance! 🌲 🌚🌚 🪴🧅🍑💌
PS. I also really like the character names Cheng Jiashu and Li Huajun. The names sound very poetic to me.
