Yes I remember those discussions. These scenes aren’t steamy and the librarian is having a better romance than our poor ML. It’s just so apparent how unfairly Dylan is being treated and the second ML love line is valued more.

After watching up to ep.19, their whole love line, I feel, is very fragmented. I got so annoyed with the plot changes. It is so obvious the scene when she returned the ring was re-dubbed over. The real reason has always been that she had fallen in love with Jiashu, but all the interactions between the male and female protagonists were deleted or edited! They edited to where either Dylan not allow to CP with FL or the heroine cannot fall in love with others if her ex-bf is not dead; the love triangle cannot exist. Is Runming the actual ML and is our Jiashu so worthless, like a spare tire? A film with such a good theme, with an honest and hot young protagonist, but has really failed on the love line.
