The sunny and carefree second young master, Cheng Jiashu, climbing trees and jumping into other people's yards, watching the fun and putting himself in the fun, get his ears pulled, and acting like a baby to his parents, only exists for half an episode! I feel like they just cut into the main topic right away, and they all were forced to grow up overnight. The young actors in this drama are all acting so well and put their heart into it. By the 2nd episode, I was already tearing up. LOL 😭

I really like the pairing of Dylan W and Zhou Ye; they look so good together 💗💗, even though they are not a couple yet. So far, the main line is not the love story of the male and female protagonists, but some passionate young people in the war years who fought bloody battles and to preserve education.

Yes I agree she is crazy to want to go back. She thinks very highly of CH, so she is not aware he is under his brother’s thumb. ML will help her with this in ep13.

I think you are talking about ep10 when DFQC build her the Arbiter Hall and want her to stay with him. At this point, she feels that she would never collude with what she thought would be evil and she thinks CH will help clear her name w/ his brother. DFQC still does not understand the nature of attachment to loved ones, and that it goes far beyond the outer appearances. He asked her "Why?" He is feeling what she's feeling and really can't figure it out.
She will figure things out in the later episodes.

Yes there is when the initial heart curse is placed on him. It’s like a glitch. And one time later on, but not for too long.

I love the pairing of ZYC and LYT also. And as long as it stays with LYT, I am happy. 😄

We have a very long wait for this one, and probably won’t start filming this year. It is expected to air in 2025.
