Yea Luo Yunxi looks much better when he did in Love is Sweet (w/ Bai Lu) a couple of years ago. He was always skinny but healthy looking. His character is sickly, heartless, and an outsider--they want him to look half dead here! I wish they had styled him better. So far, with all the money spent, the styling is a miss. Even some scenes had poor lighting showing cakey make-up. I hated the dangling things on Bai Lu's head and their wedding outfits, I thought, looked awful. However, with such a gripping plot, I am suppressing those feelings. LOL! I'm on episode19 and still having a blast.
LBFAD definitely is lighter and has more romance and a comedic tone. Still has the chemistry, best costumes, and OST. I love the universe they created. I see some people comparing the two MLs, they are both interesting and are well-written characters. I think both actors owned their roles. Although I am bias towards Dylan Wang, since I am his fan. 💗
