Im actually glad they had a voice actor for Haode. Not that there is anything wrong with the real voice , but…
Hmmm Maybe you are right. that main actress who was in Netflix Fairy Devil drama was very cringy with the baby voice but she is very popular ( I think). I dropped it because of her acting.
I had a same doubt...did his majesty accepted back or what he did I'm curious
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empress_Guo_(Renzong) In April 1033, her protector Empress Dowager Liu died, and Emperor Renzong was free to govern. Furious at the late Empress Dowager Liu for having passed herself off as his mother, he turned against her former allies, who now formed around Empress Guo.[3] Empress Guo managed to have Grand Chancellor Lü Yijian exiled, but within a year, he returned and encouraged the emperor to divorce her.[3] The cause of divorce was an argument between Empress Guo and two other women, Consort Yang and Consort Shang. The women provoked Guo until she reached out to slap them: when she did, however, they moved, which caused her slap to land upon the emperor.[3] He then deposed her on the grounds of violence. The deposition of Empress Guo caused a conflict between the emperor and his ministers, who warned him that his divorce was unfilial and that it would undermine the position of an Empress and set an unacceptable precedent if in future an Emperor could depose an Empress, the mother of the people, merely for personal reasons.[3]
In 1034, the emperor sent Consort Shang to a nunnery, while Consort Yang was moved to another residence.[4] Empress Guo died a mysterious death in December 1035. Two months later, on 12 February 1036,[5] Emperor Renzong restored Guo to the rank of Empress and she was buried on 17 February.

Well, if you check Wikipedia page of Emperor Renzong of Song. a virtuous consort of Yang clan is still listed as one of his spouse. So I guess he took her back. Looks like a lot of scenes were cut from that back story due to censors. The ending was rushed a bit. A lot of things that happened were historically based.
The 3 dramas I've watched this year have left me refreshed and feeling fluffy: BlossomFlourished PeonyPerfect…
I think I'm going to take the plunge and watch the story of Ming Lan since its legally available on Youtube now and set in the same era. Have you watched it before?
Virtuous Consort, of the Yang clan (德妃 楊氏; 1019–1073)
I found this consort listed in Renzong Wikipedia page. Are the Chinese characters her real name or just the title? I've wondered what happens to Yang Xian's sister. Does she ever gain back the Emperor's favour?
Rating went up to 8.3. Could hit 8.5, then I will say it's fair. This could be the opposite of "When phone rings" where the ratings fell off the cliff after the last episode.
