Good times. I sat thru the entire trilogy, and each one got worse. His film The Protector are the best! 🐘
I usually overlook the story and acting in his films because he defies gravity and does some amazing stunts but without his fights this movie sank.

I don't begrudge their opportunities, but no woman is going to be offered an action role at the age of 82. Well, Michelle might in the future, but she'd be the exception.

It's always amazing to me that men can keep acting until they are ancient. The octogenarian Harrison Ford is playing a Hulk for Pete's sake. Women in Hollywood often have to create their own projects on television to keep working.

Just from what little I’ve read, the HK movie system could be tough on women. Brigitte Lin’s last main role was the same as Maggie’s-Ashes of Time Redux. They both chose to walk away around the same time.

That’s why I’m so glad Michelle hung in there. She’s still being offered a variety of roles. No easy feat after the age of 40. And she was gorgeous in that blue dress at the Oscars.

Maggie’s last main role listed on MDL was Hero. I thought she was exquisite in it.
