It's release date is AFTER the new 'modesty laws' are in place, one of which bans ALL LGBT centric entertainement and entertainers. So i sincerely doubt this will EVER see the light of day now. It's truly breathtaking, in a sad way, how BACKWARD the Chinese government is regarding LGBT - well, and tattoos, hiphop and rap....all of which is banned. But then non conformity is their enemy I suppose. Not a country I want to visit.
I did wonder the same thing but China's already done a version of that a short while back called Pretty Li Hui Zhen....though it was universally panned, so perhaps they're having another try? Lol!

They are PERMANENTLY banned from from being seen together jn public, Athena. I thought it was being together at all, but a Chinese poster here said that it's only in public but IS permanent.....a ridiculous extreme to go to.
Park Bo gum can have me in tears with just a wobble of his bottom lip. I remember seriously rooting for him in Tomorrow's Cantebile and crying every time he got upset or his hand hurt. Same with Hello Monster.....when he says "you didn't even recognise me" with those tearful eyes (little picture above) i was bawling in seconds. He's just such a little puppy........
LOVE Fujioka Dean so this will be a must watch for me - nice to see him getting more lead roles too. He's a brilliant actor and it's a shame it's taken so long.
Whilst there do appear to be similarities with Meteor Garden, I also saw some with Devil Beside Me....so I think it has more to do with teen tropes.. ...writers know what work and just like to hit repeat.

He's scary when he's emotional and I mean emotional as in crazy.
I watched a drama where he laughed and flirted - and it was, I'm sure, his normal laugh......to me it sounded like a serial killer laughing about his next victim!! I think I'm too used to him as Irie-kun . LOL! He just comes across as crazy, even when I'm sure he's being normal, right? ;$
mind you he acted his socks of as Irie Naoki and was THE most convincing as the character; I truly believed he played him as an Asperger's person as I know someone with Asperger's and they are the same. Even she said he was identical to her. :)
