So I finally got around to watching episodes 9 and 10. Satisfied with Seol standing up for herself and seeing…
Yes, I really appreciate when a drama doesn't have a love triangle. I think the only time I saw it was with Healer. But, nonetheless I really like InHo's character here, a very redeemable character, and I find myself hoping for his happiness in pursuing his dreams of piano playing and getting his friendship back with Yoojung. ❤

Park Hae Jin's recent Interview on Baidu: Q: The memories you shared with Seo Kang Joon attract a lot of attention.…
Your welcome @pearl286 it was also very interesting to read for me too. I appreciate the fact about actors when they talk about a certain role they are portraying, and how he describes it, sometimes is either in sync with how the audience views it, or it differentiates, which makes for a great point of view.

I agree with what you said about the webtoon, lol I'm sure the ending will please all those who read the webtoon more importunately (as they are the driving force behind the popularity before the drama even began). :)

@manicmuse I haven't read the webtoon, and I believe it's the majority here who haven't not the minority. So we are all with you in the boat, of treating this drama on a stand-alone work, and not basing it off of anything. I wholeheartedly agree with everything @Kachiiing wrote, so I won't have to repeat the same opinion once again.

But, what is nice about this drama, at least for me, is that even if you find one character lacking (and in that case for you its Seol, then, there are more character dimensions, depth and growth displayed by the other actors in the drama) which is really nice. The story between both Yoojung and InHo is still a mystery to all of us, who have caught up to the most recent episode, but it intrigues me how their friendship fell apart like that, and I wonder what could have happened.

The amazing thing about Seol, is that she makes the audience see things through her eyes, (and this is a flawed narration, like Kachiiing mentioned.) It's an interesting take on observing a drama through a character's eyes, when you don't know if they are seeing things realistically or through their own prejudices.

The great thing about this drama, it always causes endless discussion about the characters, so don't ever worry about the "wrath of fans" lol :D

Park Hae Jin's recent Interview on Baidu:

Q: The memories you shared with Seo Kang Joon attract a lot of attention.

A: While the story develops, there are some information revealed here and there however the truth will only be revealed at the end. When the audience watches the ending, they may sigh… this could be a possibility. The ending is not yet revealed in the comic so viewers got curious about the drama.

Q: Recently you have finished filming, are you satisfied with the ending?

A: Actually the original has no ending so everyone is very stressed about this. I don’t know about the ending of the others. My script only has my ending. I think it is still largely base on the feeling of the webtoon.

Q: When the reporter watches Yoo Jung, it seems that there are traces of previous roles

A: How do I say it, YJ seems to be the summation of all my roles. After “Bad guys” it was very helpful for me to portray YJ. I could transpose some feelings. However I actually wanted to showcase more sweetness. In You Who are From the Stars and My daughter Seo Young, the roles were all about solo love, not getting reciprocated in love. So this is the first time I am acting out the sweet love of a couple. I don’t quite understand the female viewer’s thoughts, so I really considered many things.

Q: Now the audience are all infected with Yoo Jung virus.

A: Oh is that so (laugh), actually I don’t quite understand that kind of feeling. The director taught me a lot. Some scenes came out great and were widely circulated on the social networks. These were all done in consultation with the director, I am really not sure how to act sometimes. I really don’t know. (laugh).

Q: Which were the scenes that you couldn’t understand?

A: For e.g when YJ said to Seol “Date me”, this sort of scenes. And at the beginning when he gave Seol a drink. I really don’t understand. After filming, I even ask the director “ Why is this good?” “ Can we really do this?” all these sort of queries.

I must say I like Nam Joo Hyuk more here, than in Who are you: School 2015. He was so bland in the latter drama,…
@Kachiiing yup that was the first time ever to feel second-lead syndrome, it was thanks to school 2015 :D. The whole drama was great, until they gave so much dimension, depth, and raw emotions to the second lead, and totally forgot the first lead lol. Like you said, he projected the love of his life to a whole new person with the same face, which killed it for me. He wasn't a bad actor there, just unfortunately he had a bad character, and Yooksungjae outshined him by miles because he had the better character. That drama only brings me sad emotions lol, I never even watched the ending because I read it in the comments. Didn't want to bring myself to watch that drama anymore.

I'm happy he is getting the right limelight here and his chemistry with Bora is so cute and adorable :D

*high-five* for two more days, woohooo we survived :D

Same here. But I think it has to do with his character, I'm starting to believe that we misunderstood the actor as being horrible, when in reality it was his character that was boring and had no depth.

Since more people are watching online than real-time, Nielsen Korea and CJ E&M came up with the Content Power Index (CPI) to gauge the popularity of the show other than the old standard of TNmS and AGB Nielsen ratings. It takes into account the number of news articles about the show, the search rankings in the different internet portals, and social media. It's another way to measure a show's buzzworthiness.

So our CHEESE is #2 woohoo :)
