So I just rewatched the first 4 episodes again (>.<) and noticed maybe Jung became interested in Seol because…
@Jay I just love how you can write my own thoughts down and explain it so wonderfully :)

Yes, I feel this is how Jung is around Seol, she brings out many different emotions out of him, which is very unlike him. I think this is why he is "frusterated" by her and "distracted" by her prescense. She is making him feel things he never felt before towards anyone, and he is drawn to her like a fly is to a flame :D

Baek In Ho reminds me quite a bit of Gong Tae Kwang (school 2015). Not in looks but in personality.
I feel he simply ignored IH being hit. I doubt he was the one who sent people to hit IH, unless this is what IH believes. And the writer might make us all doubt Yoojung until the end.

Until now, Yoojung hasn't really denied that he was somewhat responsible for what happened, but at the same time, IH isn't taking any responsibility for what truly happened.

What do you think?

I'm having second lead syndrome again thanks to yoo jung cause he's doing nothing basically
@Jay spot-on. I also just did another rewatch lol, but It seems the difference between first year and second year. Is that Yoojung was also as suspecting and weariy of Seol and that is why he treated her with harshness. But, I guess when he saw how dedicated she was to her studies, and how she didn't give him any "special" treatment like everyone around him, but she actually "suspects" him of commiting certain acts, this is what spiked his interest. She is different, yet she is kind of like him that way too.

Yoo Jung does seem like someone who has Autistic features..he acts and does things his way..the way he talk to people and interact with people show his lacking of feelings and emotions..doesn’t understand people point of view..lack of understanding of people emotions.. and very meticulous in art…very particular in things like playing with the ants… he seems like living in his own world….he is very intrigued and complex character…

[taken from another site, but I truly love this person's observation :) ]

I already love Baek Inho in webtoon but i wasnt expecting THIS CUTENESS in drama too. Team Baek Inho <3 Because…
@mugilock lol it's no offense hehe I like your " you would rather be safe than sorry I guess." But I feel this is what attracts me more to Yoojung, he is unpredictable and is very confusing to read, which makes him more mysterious in my book lol

In-Ho is so far the reckless guy that nothing is going right in his life, I like this specific role for him honestly. But, he still hasn't outshined the main lead yet.

But who knows, maybe later on when the story progresses even more, I might change my mind :D

see all the reasons you stated that deter you away from Yoojung is actually drawing me to him even more. I'm not sure if it is because of this "mystery" surrounding him that truly attracts me. But, for now he is the one who is keeping me intrigued :)

As for Baek in Ho, I had posted this a couple of pages ago :) and it was going into details about In-ho as a character. Tell me if you agree or disagree :)

Deciphering Baek-In-Ho's Character :)

I feel we are always focusing on YooJung's character, but why not the second lead now :D

I came to the conclusion that IH has the tendency to blame people for his misfortune. Let me explain: When he was interviewed and refused, he got upset and started being more rude and putting the others under pressure. Finally he more or less insulted the other.

However, like HS said later, no one would hire someone like him because of this clothes! So if he had been dressed properly, he might have got a job much earlier.

Then his sister's cards got suspended, he blamed YJ again for being too harsh on his sister. Nevertheless, he never asked her what had happened before! He doesn't know that YJ wants the sister to go to school! So YJ is giving her an opportunity, but she doesn't seize it because she doesn't want to change her life's style. She's a parasite and in my opinion, she is the one who took advantage from the quarrel between IH and YJ. She used her brother to have an access to money and IH doesn't realize it. Only because of his injury... so she is the worst.

But, on a positive note: :)

He has something that Jung lacks: he is able to show his emotions, while the other is not capable to reveal his true feelings. To me, YJ has built a wall around him and makes it impossible for anyone to come close to him. I sense that this is related to his relationship with IH. I guess, both have the impression, they were betrayed by the other. Nevertheless, both have issues with their behaviour: IH allows his emotions to run wild... he doesn't control these so that he makes bad decisions, while YJ is too cold and distant so that his behaviour is misinterpretated!

Someone wrote this on another site, and I think it makes a lot of sense :)

Boys over flowers is a perfect example. You compare both characters, and the nicer more friendly second lead should get the girl in the end, but somehow it wouldn't have been good at all. Because, the main lead's character was well developed enough to have a backstory and bad upbringing, and needs the heroine to provide that much needed TLC. :)

for CITT, I'm like Seo Kang Joon's acting here, and this role fits him quite well. But, I'm not rooting for him yet, as I have not seen something so significant or that stands out about him, which outshines the main lead in any way.

How are you liking the comparison between both male leads? are you gearing towards one character more, or you feel that they are both complex?

You are right about that aspect, it's like he fell for the "replacement" of his childhood love, which doesn't make sense. Because when you love someone, you are not loving their "image" but you are loving who they truly were meant for you.

Anyways, that drama was a dark spot on my life lol. He isn't the greatest of actors, but he isn't memorable either, so I'm hoping he improves in CITT because he has the "look" of an actor, but he still hasn't achieved "the acting" part of it :D

Baek In Ha needs to tone down a lot lol. I'm not sure if her character is supposed to be this 'exaggerated' but she is definitely an annoyance to those around her, and watching her :)

Exactly, and he wasn't a great of an actor like Yooksungjae, so most of everyone was really drawn to him. Also the writers gave GongTaeKwang a better story, and he had more chemistry with Eunbi :)

That show literally broke my heart :(

@Sul oh wow really? so pretty much the whole webtoon has been covered in these four episodes? I'm hoping for the best, since now it will be in the hands of the drama writers, and not the webtoon.

I really wish and hope it doesn't turn out like orange marmalade, where the beginning episodes were amazing and on point with the webtoon, and then they started adding their own historical aspect, and it went downhill from there.

@Jay lol you want to see him heartbroken? waeee ? lol I think I'm just like you, I love it more when the guy is chasing the heroine, wants to be close to her, wants her trust, and feels jealous and broken when he feels she is about to be taken away from him. :) And so far Jung has been experiencing so many of those feels, because Seol to him, is also a mystery :)

Seol and Yoojung share a similarity in many ways.. -They both seem to have introverted personalities, keep things…
Yes to the both of you guys, that is one thing they are both a top in their class when it comes to grades.

I feel Yoojung likes Seol more because she, unlike everyone else, is ACTUALLY avoiding him, not drawn to him :D

@MsSeoRa That is one of my absolute favorite moments, the way the scene was shot is truly beautiful :)

Here is the song you are referring to, I think I watched that scene 20 times just to hear that song, and see how you looks at her :)

Is Yoo Jung good or evil?! I can't figure him out! Kang Joon is going to give me a second lead syndrome, again.…
YooJung is a mystery :) I guess we are also left in the dark just like seol, so we see things through her eyes. I'm sure later on they will shed more light on his life, and we will come to understand who he truly is :)

You are absolutely right, he is playing the tortured second-lead, but so far I'm not as crazy about the second-lead here as I was with SCHOOL2015 ( that one drove me absoultely crazy :P )
