To keep us sane until next week, I found this video from behind the scenes, script reading. Soo cute :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu_fNe17phc
lol I know she would have looked adorable. If you look up her at the press conference she looked soo pretty, with her hair in a ponytail and dressed to impress :)
Doesn't it seem like Park Hae Jin was the one shy reading his lines though? I can't imagine how embaressing to be reading this stuff out loud like this..heheh
Loving everything right now, the pace is perfect! Can't wait for the next episodes <3
I'm loving the pace too. Many dramas begin with a slow pace and speed things up towards the middle, then drag, and then end. I'm hoping for this currently nice pace throughout though :)
I know it is mega cliche to say the show feels so 'real' but it does!! Everything is so relatable and real and…
@hollywillow I agree with you. I mean I haven't read the webtoon, but I think we should approach them differently as though they are different entities right? or else the whole dilemma of comparison on where this character was better or worse won't have to happen as much. :)

@SpanishFairytale . I'm also loving the "realness" aspect of this whole drama. It's very different than many kdramas, and I think this is what is drawing many of us to this drama. The heroine is so real with her social awkward situations, and how she sometimes is not able to express herself very well.
I also love how there is a certain mystery aura around our male lead character, that keeps us on our toes :D
just watched first three episodes in one go.. i can't bring myself to watch the 4th ep then have to wait till…
yes it's truly addicting. And believe me you aren't alone for not reading the webtoon. Many people here haven't read it either, I'm also one of them, and I'm still loving the show very much.
But the temptation to go see the webtoon is really strong though :P
I've seen the whole "awkward first date" trope play out so many times in fiction that I'm used to it being, well, theatrical, with everything going horribly wrong. Seol and Jeong's first date is more...real-life awkward. Like, the movie they end up going to watch is a little weird, there's odd little nitpicks about pricing which they don't discuss. There's never a conversation about actual date stuff. In short, Seol and Jeong don't seem to have any idea what they're doing. Why is that?
Well, because nobody ever has any idea what they're doing on a first date. We're always just making this stuff up as we go along. Most of the time you have to actually explicitly awkwardly describe the outing with a potential romantic partner as being a date just to avoid the risk that the other person might interpret the outing as a platonic one. The more I think about it the more obvious it is that dating is weird and doesn't make any sense. And "Cheese in the Trap" is quite possibly the first work of fiction I've ever consumed that actually acknowledges that.
I feel we are always focusing on YooJung's character, but why not the second lead now :D
I came to the conclusion that IH has the tendency to blame people for his misfortune. Let me explain: When he was interviewed and refused, he got upset and started being more rude and putting the others under pressure. Finally he more or less insulted the other.
However, like HS said later, no one would hire someone like him because of this clothes! So if he had been dressed properly, he might have got a job much earlier.
Then his sister's cards got suspended, he blamed YJ again for being too harsh on his sister. Nevertheless, he never asked her what had happened before! He doesn't know that YJ wants the sister to go to school! So YJ is giving her an opportunity, but she doesn't seize it because she doesn't want to change her life's style. She's a parasite and in my opinion, she is the one who took advantage from the quarrel between IH and YJ. She used her brother to have an access to money and IH doesn't realize it. Only because of his injury... so she is the worst.
But, on a positive note: :)
He has something that Jung lacks: he is able to show his emotions, while the other is not capable to reveal his true feelings. To me, YJ has built a wall around him and makes it impossible for anyone to come close to him. I sense that this is related to his relationship with IH. I guess, both have the impression, they were betrayed by the other. Nevertheless, both have issues with their behaviour: IH allows his emotions to run wild... he doesn't control these so that he makes bad decisions, while YJ is too cold and distant so that his behaviour is misinterpretated!
Someone wrote this on another site, and I think it makes a lot of sense :)
Park Hae Jin and Seo Kang Joon has 10 years age difference yet both actors act as college students in this drama…
Thanks @Jay and @TokkiLily that was very interesting. I do love that in some countries they value the honorifics, but I feel in S.Korea they take it to another level and apply it to someone who is just one year older. I feel in some countries they apply the honorifics to those who are (your parents' age or older) which makes more sense.

I haven't read the webtoon, but I know many people mentioned that In-ho in the drama is much softer I guess than the webtoon?

[HanCinema's Review]
It's called "Such" by Kang Hyun Min feat. Jo Hyun Ah of Urban Zakapa.
The bad thing is that they haven't released the OST out yet, so you will have to wait :)
