whatever Jay do to Sun, I'd compare it to Chi Cheng and Weiwei instead of Lu Feng and Yi Chen. They do assault each other. but they none of them got hurt because of it (at least not until ep7).

ep 9 is a difficult watch. im interested to hear your opinion when you have seen it all.

Reading through the comments... yk what, I kinda agree with some negarive opinions. True, all they do is assault each. But here is what I think so far (I saw only 7 episodes yet), in ep7 it was clearly said that Sun doesn't say what he actually thinks, especially not to Jay. And if you watch not only with eyes, but also ears and at least one fully function brain cell (sorry not sorry), you could have noticed it. If you didn't,fine, it's okay, it was clearly said.
What I personally appreciate about this series, honestly I don't really care about romance here, but everything else. I love Sky and Kajorn and theue relationship with Sun. I love how Sun acts like heartless and emotionless and he seriously believes he's like that, but these two people make him feel again. I love how Sun worried Kajorn's feelings when that camera got broken even if it wasn't his fault. I love how he cares about Sky. I love how he noticed that standing in frint of camera made him feel sick. I love how he rushed to help him. I love how he tried to make him feel better. I love how Sky though Sun doesn't like him and how Sun told him it's not true. I love how we learned why Sky doesn't like cameras. I love the depth in his character, that he's actually much more than smiley sunshine. Both of them have some trauma which they have to overcome and they chosed totally different ways.
I love how it shows dark side of entertainment industry. I'm not saying this is how it works in domundi, gmmtv or iqiyi, but it is how it works somewhere in the world in general, not only entertainemt industry. Rich people chose the path of many things, that's how it works in society for centuries.
The love story... huh, I will say "love story". I haven't read this manhwa, so I don't know much, but as far as I know from other people, it's really accurate towards original story. The rabbit scene got me goosebumps and I didn't like how is Jay forceful, but at the same time, even tho I didn't read the manhwa, I know that Sun wants him too. He just... Thinks he doesn't believe hebdeserved to be loved and he doesn'y say things he thinks and the last very important point, until the reveal about Jay's mum, he wasn't sure if he could trust him. Now, both of them have same goal but with different people. They want revenge and payback for very valid reasons.
Romantic plot isn't really neccesary here. Payback could work perfectly as bromance, that's true. But all of us know that the original is BL and let's be honest, even if it was bromamce, we'd still ship them the same way we ship characters in High School frenemy, Wu and Mr. Kill.

This series is so real in this point.. some BL "fans" enjoy BLs as in a term of fiction, they love watching two boys making out and doing more on screen, but when it comes to real queer people, they can't even support their love, which is all they want.

Watching this feels like watching Burnout syndróme. No matter how much I rooted for Kheem, I knew he'd choose Koh. Here, oh much I hate P Jane but I can see that little Jane is head over heals with him and even if hid favourite celebrity confessed to him, he'd say "no thank you, I'll date this toxic devil black flag who does nothung else but hurting me... and I'm pretty sure he's bestie with Lu Feng"
