loved this series, it was awesome seeing one of my favourite shoujo manga's come to life and the actors chosen were able to portray their characters so well. The ML did an excellent job as Takane and I feel he really grasped his personality and mannerisms. Hana's character was perfect as well and the supporting cast were also incredible. My only complaint is that it was way too fast-paced. I know it was only an 8-episode long series with each ep only being 25min long but like it was still too rushed. They could have slowed it down a whole lot more and maybe made room for a second season. Cause from episode 6-8 they pretty much powered through 5 volumes worth of content and left out a lot of the juicy bits too. Twas' good but too rushed.
However I'd definitely recommend this series and I also highly recommend the manga if you want the full series
Go Back Couple was so good, but man did it break my heart! there were so many moments that I was literally crying to myself throughout. Definitely recommend it though, it was so good and the ending was so satisfying as well I've got Lucky Romance on my PTW so I'll get to it eventually I've watched Marriage Contract (well actually 14 and a half episodes of it) and it has been pretty good, but I almost don't want to watch the ending because I don't want her to forget her kid or even if she dies....I really hope she doesn't!! Reply 1997 is on my PTW list also so I'll get around to it, one day as for QF7D I have heard of it, but I'm not a huge fan of historical Korean dramas so I'll think about it
I was planning to watch it but I'm hesitant cause manga adaptations are more often a miss than a hit but I haven't read the manga yet so I reckon I'll give the drama a go first and if I like it or feel something is missing I'll go read the manga
I'm enjoying it. I've been really looking forward to it ever since I first heard about it and was so excited when it started airing. I know that this drama has a lot of negative views, but I reckon that all adds charm to the drama and has me enjoying it even more Plus you can't go wrong with Park Bo Young as FL, she slays as a supernatural series MC
at times Jiang Chen annoyed me so much, cause like he was just so slow!! everytime something happened, instead of going straight to Xiaoxi, he stood still instead of going after her, and instead of fighting for her whenever cutie swimmer boy was around, he freaking WALKED AWAY!! why did you walk away Jiang Chen?! Fight for your girl!! and even when he finally did admit his feelings for her (though we all knew that he was in love with her from episode 1) still like he took so long and then they even broke up due to some misunderstanding, like they didn't even give each other time to talk it out at times i was rooting for cutie swimmer boy, other times I just wanted Jiang Chen to man up and take the initiative. Ugh so annoying honestly but I did like how it ended, was sad for cutie swimmer boy but the first love is really hard to get over, especially if it ended badly
aside from that, yes Jiangxiao was the best!! I loved her so much and she was the perfect best friend: loyal, brave, fun, supportive. Lu Yang was great. I loved his character and his unwavering love for Jiangxiao throughout, when they got married I was so happy!!
I've watched this series twice and I have to say it was pretty good, I did get annoyed at Xiaoxi and Jiang Chen and thought that maybe their relationship could've been...idk...I'm not sure
lol anyhow the series had its cute moments, so i would recommend to others (haha it looks like I've just replied to your review with a review of my own XD)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, have you seen Put Your Head On My Shoulder? the sequel to this? it just finished airing last week
it's not that I don't ship Song-i and Do-hyeon, but like... Ji Soo...he finally becomes main lead and still doesn't get the girl? like seriously, why will no writer actually let his character end up with the right girl? the series was good, the acting was admirable for all cast, definitely ship Ga-rin and Hun, they be so cute <3 but still....Ji Soo....will you ever get the girl?
Yes i need a season 3. I want to see Ji Won's court battle so badly, plus obviously for her to get together with Sung Mind I was not a fan of the new Eun Jae, her character was too annoying for my liking. Aside from that I liked how the series got a bit darker, so I would really love to see a season 3
why does he never seem to get the girl in his roles? He's always stuck as the second lead I hope he gets to become a main role that actually gets the girl
i haven't watched a drama that made me cry as much as this one in a while it was nice, I thought the premise was interesting and the trailer intrigued me so I picked it on a whim, and I am glad I did It was so cute, perfect amount of sadness, happiness and humour, plus lots of cute scenes and the cast was really good, I really felt the characters come alive in this drama definitely recommend for anyone looking for a short romance drama to watch
However I'd definitely recommend this series and I also highly recommend the manga if you want the full series

it's been so many years but that song still resonates with me on a personal level
I am really anticipating the next episode
