I enjoy open-endings because they are impactful and leave the show lingering in your mind for a while but this is an instance of an open-ending that made me feel 'incomplete'. So she left and we don't know what will happen eventually - will she get back together with Zi Lin or will either of them commit suicide because they can't take it? All 3 of them seemed quite burned by what happened. Like what about the brothers - how will the dynamic of the entire family change? I needed some indication of how they were all going to go on (even if that meant an extra min or 2 of screentime)

Title Love Scar
Taiwanese dramas from the early 2000s just hit different.
A mini-drama full of passion, yearning and desire, where a woman is stuck between her loyalty to her husband, and her love for her brother-in-law, who was also her ex. Our 3 stars were at their prime here; sexy Jerry Yan, natural Karen Mok and charming Jacky Cheung, I am surprised this isn't popular. It's no masterpiece but the concise story-telling and natural performances make this quite a decent classic (though I do have issues with the ending - see spoiler).

Title Undercover Affair Spoiler
So much for revenge; the FL spends 3/4 of the series doing nothing but tagging along with the guy and acting lovey-dovey…
Yeah she believed him to be dead but he was alive all along and he comes back and they look at each other and hug. No explanations whatsoever. All in the last few mins of the episode.

But hey don't decide based on what I said. You may like it more than I did.

The script and characters are great but what gives this an edge is the direction. The direction style is so unique and stylish. And that quirky score along with it - freaking PERFECTION.

Title Endless Love
The first 11 episodes were really good (read: great angst & chemistry between the leads, decent characters) and then it went downhill SO BAD with the manipulation by all the secondary characters who turned evil. I wonder if the screenwriter changed because it just didn't feel like the same drama. The leads barely even had a single scene together after episode 11, not till the last few mins of the finale. So much for endless love, where was the love? It was all about endless manipulation, separation and torture post episode 11.. By the end, I lost all the love I had for the male lead. I just didn't understand why he couldn't fight for the dedicated and loving female lead, and had to constantly hurt her using the 'sacrifice' trope. She deserved better.
I don't recommend this unless you're a fan of the either of the actors, and want to watch everything they've been in.

There is an element of romance but it is not romantic in the conventional sense. Also, it's not a light drama. It's dark and mature.

I"m only on E3 and even though it's melodramatic in parts, the angst is so freaking good.Dramas today just don't…
The FL"s love and dedication for the ML in E7 <3333
BE STILL MY HEART
I love her so much

E9 DAMNNNN each time I think this show is going to disappoint
It surprises me
I didn't expect the FL to openly declare to the ML that she will fight for him
On one hand, I feel moved by her dedication and love but on the other hand, I also feel like this kind of behaviour should not be encouraged. If someone doesn't even want to fight for you then what's the point of this one-sided fight?

Also I can't stand the 2ML - you belittled her and her love when she kept coming to you and now when she's moved on, you want her back and expect her to just fall back in love with you? GIVE ME A BREAK. YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE FOR FREAKING 15 YEARS AND YOU DIDN'T TAKE IT. Also such lazy writing.

2FL - I expected to hate her but I kinda empathize with her. I wish she was a better actress though.

E10 - WAIT WHAT!!?!! THE FATHER PLANNED ALL THAT!?
HOW EVIL COULD HE BE
I DIDN"T SEE THAT PLOT TWIST COMING
OMG I HATE HIM SO MUCH

E11 - HOW COULD JING HAO DO THAT TO RUI EN?! Like what did she ever do to hurt you? If only, she's been loyal, devoted and as kind as she could be, to you. WOW I'm not sure if I even want to even root for them anymore. She deserves better. Also I'm beginning to feel that Jing Hao really cares for the 2FL like the way he took money from the Mafia just to save the 2FL.. like the way he cares for her and sometimes see the FL in her scares me a little.
Gosh this is all so complicated.

E13. I thought that finally the ML will melt but it seems like he's gonna run even further thanks to the manipulation of Rui En's father.
This drama is now starting to get tiring.
Shouldn't it be about love triumphing all and strengthening their love rather than all the difficulties?

E15 - he came with the intention to marry the 2FL and we're supposed to be happy with this ending?! So if the 2FL didn't change her mind, he would have just married her?! WTF
He never fought for the FL. Sorry I don't care how much he loves her (in his heart) because his actions expressed the opposite. Taking a bullet for her doesn't count, when you constantly put her through the torture. It always irks me how characters never care about their loved ones' mental health when they are hurting them.
Sorry I just couldn't root for the leads by the end.
And also disgusting to see the FL"s father walk her down the aisle after everything; like huh?!
And after all that torture, there was no proper conversation between the leads - like I never fully understood why he left?! If it was just about the father's death then why didn't he get back with her when the father was found? I never understood why he had to push her away so bad.
And then at the wedding scene - he asks if Min Shou objects like HUH!? How does it even freaking matter?! And then they wasted freaking 10 mins of the episode on all the flashbacks urgh why?!
He gives this long speech of love at first sight and the journey of love.. but where was asking for forgiveness?
Also what made him come to the sudden realisation that he will never leave her when he was about to get married to the 2FL few mins before this?!
WHAT HORRIBLE WRITING.

It does sound very exhausting, yet equally exciting. I am glad that you are doing what you love, and you were treated with care on set.
And OMGGGG it's so cool to interact with an actor on MDL. Sorry I am just too excited.
Hope you get to act more!

More power to you!
If you don't mind, please do share how it feels like to film a scene, and then see it as an episode? Do you feel like its very different?
Also do you begin by playing the scene your way, or do directors give you a lot of prompts?
