A unique, haunting and disturbing and film carried by phenomenal performances from the 3 leads, tackling some really controversial topics such as sexual abuse, violence, "kidnapping", pedophilia etc. This is not a film for the weak-hearted or people who have been subject to the kind of trauma stated above because it depicts a story unheard of. For those who can take it, this is a brilliant film with A1 actors, direction, script and score. I felt so much anger, discomfort, helplessness and sadness watching this.. it seriously broke my heart. And I will say this at the cost of sounding like a broken record, only Japan could have the guts to tell stories like this.
A cute coming-of-age romance and story with sincere performances from our leads and the landlady. Their adorable banter and chemistry, that angst and yearning, the A1 score and beautiful cinematography - it was all heartwarming and lovely. Time flew by with this one :) Kitagawa Eriko hardly disappoints though this is not her best.
I enjoy fluff once in a while but this one's a little too shallow for my taste. Some depth to the characters / story would have been nice. The acting isn't that great either. Dropped.
This was a simple, concise drama with some heartwarming moments and sincere characters particularly the ML. It began with a lot of potential but never quite took off. Definitely not the best, nor the worst; this one was an average drama for me. The writing was decent, acting was sincere but something was definitely missing [which I can't seem to figure out]. Worth a one-time watch for Kitamura Takumi whose smile and kindness simply stole my heart. The leads had lovely chemistry too, which wasn't utilized well enough beyond Episode 4. I love Dean but didn't care for his character despite the tragic backstory. Stalker dude too.
This was a fluffy, feel-good drama that could teach you a thing or two about love, companionship and support. Though the characters were rather ideal and perfect in ways, I have no complaints because the writing and performances were very sincere. There were many a times situations arose that could have been given a negative twist like the usual dramas but this one constantly dodged that bullet and stayed true to telling a positive story. A rare drama with zero negativity which we need once in a while. Give it a try, you won't regret it. The pace was slow at times but in the end, it was time well spent :)
Damn they eased into a relationship so naturally and beautifully. This might be the most organic and well written romance I've seen in a modern C drama. They're seriously adorable.
The pace is slow but the FL makes me tear up with her unrequited feelings. I know that feeling of having a secret you can't tell anyone about.. it kills you inside each moment. I think I'll scream when he actually reciprocates. I can't wait for him to look at her with love. She deserves all the love.

Can't wait to watch!

SO MUCH TALENT IN ONE DRAMA. I GOT TO WATCH THIS.
Can't wait for this to end so that I can binge it.
that's all
Also, PROTECT THEM AT ALL COST.
