For those who don't know, the ML declared his love for the FL at the ending press conference of this drama, shocking everyone (including the FL), Here's a close up clip- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp49_1czIiU
A good mix of romance and comedy, filled with loads of bickering between the immature yet adorable leads and their strong-willed yet loving families, and some lessons on marriage. Takenouchi Yutaka and Tokiwa Takako were at their cutest here, loved their pairing! Though slightly tedious at times, it was a fun one-time watch :)
Another reason why I love watching older Japanese dramas- the angst and romance is bar none. I weep for these…
I completely agree! Nothing like the older J dramas, especially when it comes to romance. Btw I highly recommend Kono Yo No Hate. Toyokawa is so damn charming and charismatic in that in his black suits, though he's the 2nd male lead. https://mydramalist.com/5709-kono-yo-no-hate
A realistic and well-written slice of life movie about a relationship between two individuals which blossoms over the internet, with very natural performances by Fukatsu Eri and Uchino Seiyou. The writer did a great job in bringing out both the safety and fears that comes with an online relationship. I also really adored the cinematography and the way we got glimpses of their everyday life. I can't believe this was released in the 90s, it could easily pass as a movie released today. Highly recommended for those who like simple, feel good romantic films :)
Probably the best, if not one of the best dramas I have seen in a while. I'm still processing the range of issues this drama covered, and all done so so sensitively and well.
A really tender and sensitive portrayal of dealing with grief and overcoming it. An informative drama about our planet and weather, and how the sky, mountains and sea are all linked together. A healing and mature romance between Mone and the doctor, filled with respect and companionship, who have now become one of my favourite pairings. A beautiful score, with great scenery and cinematography. Thought-provoking and honest conversations, with characters you want to root for. A fantastic cast, led by the effortless Kiyohara Kaya as Mone, I loved every bit of Mone's journey.
Highly highly recommend this healing slice of life drama. Everyone should watch it once. This is why I love J dramas so much.
Being the first comment on a K film page- that's the first for me LOL
OK this is clearly a makeup commercial disguised under an entire K drama condensed into a 11 min movie. Also, she was really beautiful without the makeup so I don't understand the message of this short movie. I disliked it. There are way better dramas out there that actually discuss beauty standards and deal with self-love better. Well it's only 11 mins so not like I really wasted my time. In short, I don't recommend this.
I wish this site wasn't so biased against J dramas. Oh well..
Yes, they are in Chinese. Taiwanese Chinese differs slightly from the Chinese people in China speak. But you should be able to understand.
Even the family dramas are in Chinese. I think the ones you are referring to are not produced by Taiwan. Either that, or they are produced by some smaller town local broadcasting system in Taiwan which would cater to the various dialects. I am not aware of this.
Don't know if you've seen it, but I would like to recommend this Taiwanese drama called Mars to begin your journey hehe. It's an all time favourite of mine <3 https://mydramalist.com/133-mars
