I am personally not a fan of Hwang Jung Eum and her acting (don’t @ me) but I enjoyed watching her in this show! Really sad it’s over but I think 12 episodes made the story flow as smooth as a shot of soju.
the trailer has hotel del luna and you who came from the stars vibes!!
super! seo ye ji's lewk was giving off some strong jang man-wol vibes. made me think kim soo hyun's guest appearance at the end of hotel de luna was really like a teaser for this. *excited*
I'll forever wonder how differently this could have turned out if they had stuck with the original 16-episode run. For one thing, I would have wanted to see the relationships and stories of the Homestay people develop more fully. Sadly, it is what it is. It's not everyone's cup of tea and it had its problems, but I enjoyed watching it nonetheless.
P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing the two leads again in another drama :))
so anyone else felt uncomfortable watching the beginning of episode 9 since they probably had to cut a lot bc…
Literally stopped watching midway just now to check if anyone in the comments here felt the episode was edited weird. Like the cuts are so awkward, it kinda ruined the flow of the story :(
I really like the parallels trom these episodes, highlighting the power of human touch, no matter the degree of…
Okkk so I wasn't being overly optimistic.. I was asking my friend if that was his way of saying he's starting to like her back. He tends to express his feelings so indirectly, it makes me wonder if I'm just overthinking. Lol. Thanks for clarifying :))

I love how you pointed out that the last two episodes had an overarching theme of human touch. Looking back, I see that Soon Ho grabbing onto In Wook's hand when he was feeling anxious had more depth to it than just being the usual drama tool to get the viewers' pulses racing. I've read your other recent comments too, and I think you're the perfect person to ask—what did that conversation at the end of ep 8 mean (when they were walking outside the house)? I didn't get what Hae Won was alluding to. All I know is that it was something good :))
I really, really like this one. The first two episodes were not the best, but I still really like the show overall. I'm sad this is going to be cut short and now super worried it's not going to play out as nicely as it could have.
I love how the two husbands always panic at the thought of the past and present wives hanging out. Hearing them assume the absolute worst is hilarious but not entirely absurd. Women are often pitted against each other, and the show does a good job of breaking free from this. YR and MJ both deserve to be called Seo Woo's mom. And I am also all for reforming the evil stepmother stereotype!
P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing the two leads again in another drama :))
