The start was a bit shaky and my hopes weren't that high, but I kinda like this. Anything outside of a university setting is immediately a plus and the story itself seems enjoyable enough. Also, for once its not just the cast making my mouth water. 😅

I'm struggling to get through the first episode. Does it get any better? I don't care if it's sweet or cute or funny, is it actually *good*? Like, is the story worthwhile, or is it that typical trope-filled BL that you've seen a hundred times before?

I'm still unconvinced. I was going to rebut some of your points, but I think we need to accept that we will never convince one another of our stances. You clearly love this show and won't tolerate any dissenting views. Many of your arguments are, to me, clearly biased, but again if you're enjoying this, that's great and I wouldn't want to take that away from you. Some people don't think this is the best series ever made, so maybe people should spend more time enjoying it than trying to gaslight those who hold a differing opinion.

It's no surprise to me that the official site would have a higher rating because the people who are invested in watching this series have made the effort to watch it there and would consequently rate it highly. To me it's just another series and I found it where I could. If I hadn't found it unofficially I wouldn't have made any effort to watch it. If anything, the 9.9 rating to me seems the hardest to believe, or at least the hardest for me to believe is entirely objective or representative. Again, this series is okay, but no way a 9.9.

Also, I don't think IQYI would find it against their best interests to have an almost perfect score for a series on their site, but not casting any aspersions. We've seen other sites delete downvotes or critical comments, so anything is possible.

Okay, fair enough. To be honest, I still don't believe there's some organised campaign against this series. I think all that happened was the first people to give this a rating were the biggest fans and as more people watched this, they gave theirs and it equalised the total.

I don't understand it at all. If you enjoy something it shouldn't matter what the rating is. If I enjoyed something and thought it was the best thing I've ever watched, I couldn't give a toss how anyone else rated it.

Not to be confrontational, but where's the proof that homophobic people rated this low? Could it be that people are maybe not enjoying it as much as you? I'm gay, but find this is an okay series, but absolutely not the best thing I've ever watched. And the crazy thing is that an 8 out of 10 is being considered *low*.

I'm sure we will, but it just stretches believability that someone so reckless and unprofessional would be given the responsibility of protecting the heir. I wouldn't trust him with a guinea pig.

9.9 is ludicrous. Somehow it's fair for people to rate this series 10 out of 10 based on 2 episodes, but if someone dare rate it anything lower its a homophobic conspiracy or a glitched rating system. I think there are too many people overly invested in this series to rate it objectively. Sorry, it's just not that good. Not terrible, but not the masterpiece that everyone is trying to paint it as.

Personally, I don't think 9+ is reasonable. This is an *okay* series, but nothing spectacular. Ultimately, the rating shouldn't take away your enjoyment of a series. Even if it was rated 0 and you still love it, then that's all that matters.

I was shocked to see 9+ initially. It's an okay show, but no way does it deserve over a 9. The ratings on here are a terrible guide because even an objectively awful series can get a 6 or 7 when it probably deserves a 2.

I know it's the whole premise of the show, but you'd have to be crazy to keep Porsche around. He's a massive liability. This incredibly wealthy family entrusts the safety of their heir to a guy who doesn't seem to give an eff? Yep. Sure. Anyway, good to see the rating settle down a bit. When I saw 9+ last week I thought I'd need to smoke some serious crack to ever believe it.

The length of the episodes worried me too because I tend to get fidgety very easily, but the pacing is really good and even after 90 minutes I could happily watch more.

I like this series so much. What could easily be cringe with a teddy bear coming to life and talking slippers and such, has been handled so well. The story has a lot of depth and doesn't have an obvious or predictable outcome. The main characters have real chemistry and even the supporting characters, such as the parents, contribute to the series rather than just being unnecessary filler. If they keep this up this could easily be one of my favourite series.

I saw the comments too and thought it couldn't be *that* bad. I was willing to give it a go despite the first episode, but it's an absolute chore to watch. I'm on episode 3 and it's taken me half a day to get through because 15-20 minutes at a time is all I can do. So boring.

How do series like this still get made? Painfully dull. Total lack of an interesting, or even discernible storyline. Characters with zero appeal. You can see by looking at the director's profile he's been involved with some abominations and this fustercluck seems no different. Long pauses. Awkward interactions. Forget Physical Therapy, this should be Not For Resuscitation.

Also, seeing the episodes were going to be 90 minutes I thought there would be a lot of filler or they would drag, but surprisingly they don't feel too long and manage to hold my attention. I'm curious to see where the story goes and how the side plots will come together.
