I Need Only You (Chez Remix) – Love Beans

I have enjoyed this series so much. Unless they somehow manage to totally stuff-up the last episode, which I very much doubt, I think this will go down as one my favourite series. The characters have been endearing, and the storyline has had a nice balance of serious and sweet moments, as well as humour.

7/8 were the best for me. I did not understand the love for 9/10 on here, but as I've seen elsewhere in the comments, it is a very polarising series. 11/12 was one of the better stories, but the execution was definitely flawed.

I very much felt the same about the second episode. It almost felt like they were trying to do too much and the pacing and flow went out the window.

I found 11/12 one of the better stories, even if the execution was a little bit off. Episode 11 was okay, but episode 12 felt a little uneven and jumped around a bit too much.

I know this is a drama, and I shouldn't be trying to inject too much reality into it, but It seemed like Sat was forgiven way too easily for my liking. Not to say he should have suffered, but I think Choke could have put up some degree of resistance. If a former friend turns up on your door 7 years after they'd thrown you to the wolves, I'd expect a bit more awkwardness. Anyway, just a quibble.

So true. I've seen comments on so many series begging for a second season, but always think, don't you know it just means infidelity or some other heartache? Sometimes you just need to let characters go.

When I watched the first series I thought we'd got all the heartache out of the way, and the second season would be happiness, but I'd forgotten (maybe on purpose) that the second season is all about conflict, relationship pressures, and/or infidelity.

As for the (possible) infidelity, that scene between Teh and Jai was intense, and that was before they even kissed. I know that cheating is wrong, but some other series could learn a thing or two about chemistry from an activity like that.

I'm on the fence with one year per episode, because we're just seemingly seeing the unhappiness in their relationship, but at the same time if they want to convey the progression of their relationship, maybe they need to show the big picture.

Probably the only thing I hate in this is the background music, or overuse of. It makes it feel like a standard BL when they use silly music to convey a scene is meant to be funny, rather than relying on the dialogue or acting. ITSAY felt like a standout series because it didn't fall back on the typical tropes, but IPYTM does have some elements that undermine it. The product placement (phones/snacks?) are paying the bills, but does cheapen it a little. Having said that, I'm still enjoying it.

Can't believe it's already 6 months since I watch ITSAY and began the wait for this. Just watched the first episode of IPYTM and I really liked it. Just like the ITSAY it doesn't feel overdone and comes across as very natural. Billkin and PP have great chemistry and they connect so well on screen.

Second seasons are always (almost) about strains on the relationship and/or infidelity. We certainly have the first and maybe a suggestion of the second.

Just like with ITSAY, 5 episodes almost doesn't seem enough, but at the same time it means we don't have a heap of pointless filler and nonsense, and will hopefully end up with another beautiful series.

Replying to myself, but asking generally and seeing if I misremembered, or misinterpreted something. I could have sworn the original trailer for this series I saw months and months ago had James as the one accused of sexual misconduct? I thought the story (or the story I was expecting) was that Kaprao was fired from the series and when he was asked why he was fired it was because he had alleged sexual assault or an inappropriate relationship with James. Or when Kaprao made the allegation James' relationship with the actor who replaced Kaprao came out and he got into trouble. I tried to find the trailer again to see if I had drawn the wrong conclusion but to no avail. Sometimes the original trailer and the eventual series can be different, but I just think I'm going crazy.

I was really expecting him to have a major role in this, but you're right it was literally seconds.

I didn't dislike this, but it was different to what I was expecting. I watched all of it in one day, so probably need a bit of time to process it all.

I was really expecting the scandal to feature more prominently and be a bigger driver to the story, but it felt like it was an afterthought or not explored to the extent it deserved. The tone felt a bit uneven at times, switching between the sweet moments and the darker elements, leaving me feeling uneasy.

The shady production company is probably a terrible reality for some young stars and aspiring actors or directors, but I don't think all the blame can be put on them when you also have a toxic fandom that feeds this vicious cycle.

This was a great series with a very important and powerful message. I didn't know what to expect from the first episode, but it had a lot of depth. Well worth watching.

Just finished episode 3. This series is so good. Not sure what's going to happen next!

So glad I'm not in school and have to deal with all this online bullying. I felt a bit like that old teacher having to have everything explained to her. Haha.

It does help that New looks especially cute and that male teacher is lovely as well.

I think this series has exceeded my expectations, even though I was really looking forward to it from the first preview I saw. The characters are great and the acting is really good. Even though I despair every time an episode finishes, I never find myself rolling my eyes or willing for an interminable scene to end, so I think it's really hit the right spot in terms of story content and episode length.

It was so funny when Mork mentioned the mole on Pi's ear because that was something I noticed all along. Haha.

Just watched the first episode and I'm already intrigued. Looks like it's going to get a little dark, but it's a really interesting story. I love how Thai dramas get such original stories.

I tried watching the second episode with the most open mind I could, but I just couldn't see what everyone else was raving about. I seriously feel like I watched a totally different series by mistake, but I just saw nothing in 9/10. But we all like different things for different reasons and I guess this was the case here.

The only positive I can take with this whole series so far, was the delight that was 7/8. I loved that story so much.
