This drama is really worth sinking your teeth into it -it's so good! It is inherently an investigative procedural with a supernatural twist that doesn't make you cringe because you may have a what the heck was those fx effects for. With each episodes the writers peels away layers of the story to ultimately reveal motives of the human heart. Our leading man Yun Jung Hoon in the role of prosecutor Min Tae Yeon uses his Vampiric prowess to solve violent crimes and I have to say that his portrayal his just perfect if you can look away of the eyeliner that in my opinion is just put a little to excess. The truth is in the blood--a taste of a victim's blood shows him glimpses of the last moments before death. Thrilling, sympathetic and so fresh--this show is a pleasure to watch. The biggest mystery surrounds Prosecutor Min Tae Yoon, tragic past in tow, who was turned into a Vampire under murky circumstances by an unknown sire. We're given juicy tidbits of clues along the way, and episodes are getting more interesting as characters continue to develop and the story gains depth. Top ratings for this innovative new drama--one of the best I've seen. A big reveal in EP 11...what a twist! And season 2 is being strongly considered right now. My only complaint and just because of that I did not give the drama a 10 is Lee Young Ah as Yoo Jung In the daughter of a mafia leader ( reveal in ep 10) who to escape her upbringing decided to live for the law. I don't really know how to get along with her characters , her acting seems force and her action rash, it seems to me like the writers don't really know what to do with her characters. Other than that nothing much to say now.

A real heart-wrenching drama. Even thought I complained at time at the pace of it, I came to the realization that he would not have been this good a drama if it had been fast pace. Kim Rae Won and Soo Ae acting was so real, even all the supporting cast manage to make in sort that this drama set itself apart from all the other. There's nothing really nothing that can't be forgiven about this drama, because of course it would be utopic to actually say that it was a perfect drama, but like I say all the negativeness about it can be forgiven. I would say that to watch people should be ready to acknowledged the fact that life is not always peachy and that not all story have an happy ending.

I haven't written a review in a while so take what I say with a grain of salt. I truly believe Black Knight deserve one to serve as a buffer of sort to all the negatives comments in the comments sections.
I have been watching dramas for over a decade now and I can fairly say that Black Knight is one of those Love it or Hate it drama. Personally I like it, it  wasn't spectacular enough to take me to the love level but it was warm enough to bring me to like.
So if you find yourself  looking for a drama were you know that there is 99% of chance that the plot and story progression will go nowhere, then you have found yourself at the right stop. Because that is exactly what you will get plotwise here :" NOWHWERE". But don't let the nowhereness of the plot deter you from 20 hours of free cheese and well place laughter if you know how to turn off your overthinking cap.
Let's  give props where there are due.
Go into this drama with zero expectations of wow moments and you will be the happiest person on earth. Go into this drama with a mind set that is ready to jump at every plot whole and expecting (a+b)=c moment and you are going to be the most miserable person on earth.

I came into this drama for Kim Rae Won and I was not disappointed, he showed that yes he is a veteran actor and he can work with whatever is thrown at him. And let's thanks this drama for giving female viewers out there a somewhat healthy male model,  Soo Hoo was kind, hard working and mature. He acted like a gentleman from the moment we met him and showed us that it is possible to want to attain childish dream while being an adult about it.  Something that we have to admit K-drama don't always show us.  So if you want to just chill and watched KRW do his thing then watch this.

Jang Mi Hee another veteran actress also shined in the mastery of her craft. She portray reformer Baek Hee with class.  Making us laugh at her eccentricity at the right moment and cheering for her to attain the absolution she so wanted. Go in at least just to check in Beak Hee moments even if you have to skip through the drama.

Seo Ji Hye  truly surprised me with her portrayal of Sharon. I'm not going to be singing her acting prowess because to me she more of  a hit or miss actress. But  I have to say that she nailed Sharon essence.  If what we wanted from Sharon was a emotion spot holder than an actress with better control of her facial expressions and mastery of acting would have been better.  But for what the drama came to give us of Sharon SJH  was a good choice.  She has that entitled feel to her.   If you have to check this out well at least check some of Sharon clip, she was at least funny in her eccentricity. Yet also delivered the right amount at annoyance at the mastery of the lack of development her character went through ( which I personally  think was intentional.) It occurred to me that maybe the point that the writer was trying to make with Sharon lay in her lack of moral or personal growth.

Acting wise these three are the only one that stood out for me. While it was quite cute watching Shin Se Kyung and Kim Rae Won be cheesy and cute together. Shin Se Kyung once again failed to invest me in her character, she seemed to be a simple place holder around which everyone else gravitated in order to be positioned right.
Reading this I can see yourself asking what I'm trying to get at and what the point of these long review that doesn't really say much.  Well I what I truly want to say is, ignore the nagging people and the eternal discontent. Grab a bag of popcorn on a rainy and watch this, even as a place holder to cure that itch that you have for waiting for the other drama that you really wanna watch.  It would not be a wasted 20 hours.  It would just be  20 hours that you spent enjoying some nice cinematography, you will have some decent music and some visually attractive people to watch for about 20 hours.  Then you will move on with your life.

Don't come in with expectations and enjoy the laugh and MOST OF ALL: DON'T OVERTHINK THINGS.

This drama is BRILLIANT it adds a supernatural element to a revenge mystery/crime story and that what makes it unusual. The writing and characters are well balanced. To really appreciate the depth of this drama you have to be willing to watch something with less romance, and lots of psychology. It really powerful to see how one of the characters uses other greed, sins and fears, to exact revenge. Since he is a manipulator, he is like a "devil" working in the background... and you won't be able to pin any of the crimes on him. The Devil is perfection in terms of production, scripting & acting, the music could have been better. It was intelligently-written and incredibly well-acted.JJH was phenomenal!! Granted it is dark, intellectually perplexing and tragic. In fact,I am going as far as to say that it's not suitable for the faint-hearted. It really shows in a simple manner that people are not completely good or bad. That there is a cost of in everything that we do but that no matter what we choose be it revenge or ignorance there's always a way that allows us to contemplate the possibility of redemption and forgiveness for people who, because they have lived in darkness for so long, have committed unforgivable deeds for the sake of a purpose they deem justifiable.I still in shock that this drama is so unrated and really not see as a blockbuster. The Devil is very a deep and complex drama that actually lets the viewers immerse themselves in the story and feel for all of the characters, making you pose at each turn and ask yourself would I have done better.People who are used to watching more mainstream dramas would probably not be able to appreciate it if they do not watch it with an open mind.

I have probably written only two review this year, and both of them were for shows were I deemed that one fanbase simply ruin the drama experience. I truly feel that it is sad when fanbase undermine the hard work that goes into putting a drama or movie together. That being said let me try to objectively review All Out Of Love.

All out of love for me was not a romance drama, yes it was a drama about love but not necessarily romantic love. It was more to me a drama about the different type of love out there, familial ( blood relations), the family we make for ourselves ( non blood relations) and friendships. And the importance we give all those relationship throughout one life.

This drama truth strength got buried beyond unnecessary censorship, meaning lost in translation and unruly fanbase.
Before writing my thoughts on the drama I did a lot of googling to understand the drama backstory and familiarized myself with plot points that when I was watching made no sense to me. And of course to understand the all controversy in regard to the character played by MTY.

So from the get go I want to say that it has been clarify by the author of the book that the character of TY is the main the lead, although when she started writing her books LS was the main, hence why the book title had his name in, and that by the time her novels change gear well her fan base already knew the book by that title and there was no point changing it. So to me the all hate MTY fans were throwing at Wallace just seems quite displaced. Especially when you truly dig into both their respective characters. While Wallace character YT got a lot of character washing by pretty being turned into a one dimensional perfect good guy instead of the multifaceted guy that he supposedly his in a book. After all in the book he is a driven ceo, loyal to a fault to his family while still being a feared and respected underworld boss who cuts LS two fingers out of jealousy. But that is clearly not who we get in the drama, in the drama we get this perfectly saintly guy with a patience and resilience that puts all human to shame, with his only flaw being a out of this world trust for his brother when everyone else can tell his brother it clearly a closeted psychopath. Yet it would be a disservice to Wallace to say that he did not own his character, although one dimensional Wallace's acting gave the character depth, even the choppy editing was not enough to dampen the depth of YT character, it was truly as if we were watching another drama within the drama.
And sadly that is not the same case with LS character, his character got the less cleanup but MTY was not able to bring depth to his character, if you are not a fangirl it was actually hard to be pull into feeling sorry for LS. I'm saying this because I watched the drama with my husband and mother-in-law. And the three of us had pretty opposing views, my husband and I have seen MYT in other dramas , and his acting his usually on par with some and sometimes like this time very underwhelming. This was my mil first encounter with him in such a prominent role and she was not impress. When you watched the drama the most that comes to mind when going through the character of LS is the overwhelming sense of depression. Throughout the drama MTY has this I'm super depressed look on his face even when the emotions he was supposed to convey was one of anger. I do get that there is a lot of grief going around in this drama but there is so many ways to express grief without looking depress the most starling difference is probably seen in the scene where JS tells YT about her abortion, with just his eyes since he has no dialogue you can see YT go from Joy to despair to simply undiluted anger. VS that scene were LS learns that JS and him are not related MTY fell to bring in people to feel is pain right there, when he is going to the most painful realisation of hs life that he can now without restraint go after the woman he love. No what come out at that moment his pretty much a robotic renditions of his line and once that dead in your soul emotion that his been sorting all along. And that is carried through the end where instead of seeing a guys that sacrifice his own happiness for his sister, all we see his a controlling man that choose to isolate himself from his friends and family and live in the past when he realize that he could not control any of them.

And that truly is the feel that we get at the end of this drama that was truly big at sending the vibe that if you decide to let go then you can be happy in life. When you don't learn to let go then life get pathetic for you.

The biggest contrast of love for me was truly between the way LS and YT loved JS. LS wanted to control her and seems quite content to have JS be is emotional sounding board. And he seemed to be content that she was totally and utterly co-dependent on him. While YT approach to loving JS was to let her go. He allowed if not pushed a little hard sometimes for her to make her own decision over the place she should have in his life, She was in control even when it seemed he was making the decision for her.

There is so many examples throughout the drama of the danger of not letting go of your obsession Bei's wife and mistress loose's their minds waiting for him to return to them and both died being insane. Even BWX obsession with JX , even if they try to give it a positive spin at the end with them ended together and waiting for the arrival of their child, we still see that in their desire not to let go he loses arm. And we can pretty much say that his life is quite in shambles while he was holding to his obsession. Then we also see it with Tianen because of hate he not only appears as the psycho, only once he decide to let go does he character actually take a turn were viewers somewhat get interested in his backstory.

I have so many thing to say but I feel like I should turn into an article. So what I'm going to say is that this is a really good drama if you go in focusing on the story and not the fan base. Because yes there is a story being told here, and it's a story of love, growth and forgiveness. My biggest regret is that the story truly suffered from censorship, and the negative connotations it send people with disabilities. There seemed to be an underlying tone that somewhat suggested that people with disability were not capable of love or making others around happy. And that irked me a little. And wow in watching this be ready to see a lot of hospital scene. I'm pretty sure this drama had been sponsor by hospital and apples selling merchant.

I kinda of went on quite a rant here , what I'm saying go watch the drama it 's good don't get swept into the controversies ad make your own opinion.

Story : What to say other that this drama was beautifully written, the story unfolded so naturally that we naturally traveled with the characters. It was written with the perfect amount of wit, laughter, sadness and utter respect for the age group that it was portraying.

There's nothing to say much about the cast, they played their characters perfectly to the point where it was easy to get irritated, to laugh, cry along with them. Each and every actor brought their characters to life in style and color.

The Music was just a perfect match to each of the situation they were supposed to be matched with.

I would totally recommend this drama if you are looking for a well adjusted drama about life that's clean funny and relaxing. Even if you are not in your 40's this drama is written so beautifully that it's easy for anybody to actually relate to and be like "oh that could so totally be me."

SO in clear if you are looking for a funny well adjusted and well written drama there you have it try this one just take a sit back and be charmed by all those oppas who are going to make you feel like life is just oh so well good ...

To be fair I have to warm you that is a totally biased opinion, because I has a fan of the first installment of the drama , I felt totally cheated with the direction that these opus took. If I was fair and still try to rate this show I would just say that if you took away the music there were nothing good to redeem this show in my eyes, it was over acted, scattered to the point of totally loosing me, I wonder most of the time what was going on. The addition of new characters that pop out of nowhere it was as if the writers where writing the story has they went. To be true I came back too it just because I like watching Jung Jinwoon , oh yes there were a lot of eyes candy in these drama , probably the only thing that brought many viewers back, trying to support they little sweet tooth ( even though it's the eyes that get satisfy.) I not even going to try to explain that ending , it was simply disappointing. So my recommendation is too watch this when you really have nothing to do, it's raining outside and you are looking for a well construct story that can keep your attention, then you are welcome to waste 16 hours of your life on Dream High 2.

So while I was siting here trying to figure out what I could add to the praise that this drama is receiving , I just thought hell just say what you think.

I was mesmerized by this drama, because the acting has just so raw and flawless, the cast truly complemented each other, they covered for each other flaws and blended seamlessly. It was a pleasure to watch them act, so if you really have reservation about watching this drama, throw them away because even if the story doesn't resonate with you, the acting will pull you in.

The Music was really soothing and beautiful, it got a 8.5 from me because well I was mostly only into two songs, the rest I just found them passable , but I think that they superposed them to the scene on screen pretty well.

I have to admit that has everyone was saying that the show brought them to tears, I did not cry one bit that is why it's not getting that 10 that would have established it has a masterpiece for me. I laughed at the right places, and got sad but I did not get to the heart-wrenching desperation that some viewers felt, and I think that his one of the flaw if this drama, it easily brought to tear criers but it did not try to reach the extra mile for those who don't cry easily.

I'm suspecting that the writers just lean too easily on the actors and director excepting them to do all the work to deliver her work.

Anyway do not let these things keep you away from good entertainment thought. Because I feel that these drama kind of prove that there is still hope for K-dramas actors and that we have actors out there that can act.
So I don't know if this will be helpful but I felt like I should say it . have fun watching.

Not for everyone.

I’m actually not connecting with this drama so I think that it’s time to just give up at ep 20. It’s not for me. The ideas were good but the execution was lacking. I mean it truly didn’t find a good way to give both genders the respect it was trying to demand. Yes Xin state rules were archaic and the other state had different rules. But the way they try to make Li Wei and her female friends reform Xin states just scream blatant hypocrisy and disrespect to me. More than once Li Wei overstep her boundaries into other people problems without truly considering the troubles she would cause all the party involved, and they try to disguised it as a feminism manifesto in spreading. And Zheng as the feminist king incarnate for going ahead with his little wife crazy ideas all the time. I’m a woman and I had a hard time buying into this because of the way it was implemented. I believe they could have found less disruptive and respectful way to portray all this. It quite sad because it actually had beautiful sisterhood moment and it was quite interesting to see a drama with a harem of women not trying to outdo each other but support each others. But the execution is truly loss on me. There is no need to come out me. I do see why other people may have love it. I’m just saying that it wasn’t it for me. And someone. This view relevant it making them decide if they want to watch this.

Don’t get me wrong this drama had great sceneries, and the acting was actually great with tons of veterans actors. It’s just that for somewhat time period it was trying to emulate I felt like they were trying to force feed me moderns ideas and not in a good way either. Li Wei character either came out as chaotic, pushy or plain incentive sometimes. Like she seriously had no alarm for the preservation of others. Her ideas and her feelings were what mattered above all else. I don’t know she may get better later but I did feel the pull to sit through all of it and go through that journey. I sat and gave them 20 episodes to convince me and sadly it fail. Someone reading this may go if you didn’t like it why give it a 8.5. My answer to that is because I like the acting and the scenery and to some instance the plot. My biggest disappointment is the execution and also to uncomfortable feeling I’m getting as if I’m getting judge for not approving the way Li Wei does things and the way Zheng just indulges her.

In Fathers House Choi Min-soo in his acting return gave it is all, but we should not leave out young rising actor Kim Soo-hyun, who had recently drew buzz for his performance playing Go Soo's younger character in Will It Snow For Christmas, And Sam Dong in Dream High. Their performance is just out heartbreaking and so strong-felt, there's no doubt that when watching this drama that is about a man(Choi Min-Soo) who has a one-night stand with a woman (Moon Jung-hee).Who because he has to serves some time in prison leaves her alone, it isn't until he is released that he realizes he has become a father; the mother has dropped off the boy with his closest relations (a man who is like a father figure to Choi character) and headed back home to the U.S. We are then taking through a series of event that show us how he becomes a loving father who is able to sacrifice anything for his song. The best thing to do while watching this is to have a great box of tissues ready, because you will be move once more has Choi shows that he's indeed a disgusting good actor who when he's ready to move you does it to the core.

This movie as a World Class Presentation, excellent Cinema work. Definitely worth the time that one spend to watch it, if people just more than watching pretty picture when their are watching a movie. There is Much to Learn at all ages, it refers to the main character devotion to paragliding and how he uses it to bring himself closer to the girl he lost then finds again and then in the end... The movie is a young love story about a boy who falls in love with a girl but for her own reasons keeps him at a distance to avoid hurting him/herself but it just doesn't end that way. The movie carries on into a more dramatic story with a nice soft ending about losing someone you love.

I'm a huge Kim Sun Ah and Cha Seung Wong Fan and I have to say that I loved every minutes of this show. And man All of Cha Seung Wong Dramas have great ending ... I really applaud their dedication in touching subjects that people usually shy away from, because it's a know true that very few people want to mention the themes of unemployment, poverty, agricultural sovereignty, political and corporate corruption, pollution( although not really something hammered on.) and collusion this drama presents.Besides partisan politics and what constitutes democracy. Although the drama start a little slow it's doesn't slide awa y of the marks once it find it's marks. It's definitively a wonderful feel-good romance with adults, adult feelings and drama that was believable and compelling.I personally was one of those person who didn't want to watch it because I didn't feel like getting into a political show, and deal with all political jargon and all other headaches that usually comes with politics but after starting it I realize that though there were obviously political issues throughout the show, it was first and foremost a love story that put a huge mile high smile plastered on my face and make you say wow. Since watching it last year ( well we are in 2012 and all) I have rewatched it times. It is the top ten of my recommended drama.

Although I wanted to slap the lead female throughout the drama, I was also totally shipping for her to recover her memories and family,so by the end of the drama I was fairly satisfied hence the 9/10 instead of 10.

If not going to waste my saliva or fatigued my fingers on the issue , but if you feel that you must overlooked this drama because someone may had badmouth it or a reviewer did not give it a high enough grade, then you should not blame anyone else but yourself for missing out on a true uniquely almost gem drama.

I have my "gringe" with this drama hence I did not give it a higher note, but if you really want to see great acting it's a must see, especially from the older cast, they had me totally hooked, same with the younger version is seems as the western standard for acting his going down the toilet, great germ are emanating from the east.

Acting aside the reason this drama should not be pass over is probably because of the message that is conveyed a simply touching and adorable story. With a powerful message of forgiveness.

So if you want to watch a drama that is fairly well acted and fairly wonderfully written then this must be your pick.

So what to say about Hi My Sweetheart! Other than the fact that it spend 3 years whole years in my Too Watch list. I was being super hesitant too watch it, and I can say that even though I did not give it a 10 or a 9 that it was totally worth my time. Even though the story was not new, it was still original enough. The actors if you take out the three playing the "belles" where actually really believable and cute. The Only reason why this drama did not get a 10 from me his probably because I felt that the drama could have easily been wrap up in 9 episode or 10 if they really wanted to go with the even number. Because truly their misunderstanding was so simple that he did not have to been spread over like that. But other than that this drama is a great pick me up if you are down. Because you are probably going to laugh form episode 1 to the last . They just seriously kill you with their cuteness.

This movie is totally underrated. The lead actor really does steal the show , it may start really slow but then really pick up. His performance is what holds me totally invested in the movie. Totally endearing. This movie made me laugh and cry ... actually I cried harder than I have in a long time... mostly because I was rooting for his character so much. Great find when you are in the mood for a cute love story. Even the supporting characters just made the lead guy shine better.
