What a shame I loved a lot of his work, but that's life you never know who the person behind the screen actually is. Everything I've read about him has made me sick tbh, especially the fact that he's tried to hit on many of his co-stars before. Erika is no angel either so... you reap what you sow, but it's obvious there was a huge power difference (in terms of age and status) with her and Masahiro...
I honestly think that the sequel goes against the message the movie was trying to convey. I'm very surprised this is happening especially since it's Bong Joon Ho... Then again, I'm still curious to see what they do with it...
I think he's very hit or miss, I usually DNF most of his movies. But I recently saw First Love at my local theater and I thought it was really good. The message behind it was incredible in my opinion and I read his director's letter afterwards and thought it was very sweet.
He could have been one of Johnnys' best actors if given the chance to get some more experience by starring in more dramas. I even remember how he used to mention how much he'd read things in attempt to improve his acting because he truly enjoyed it. I hope he can get some opportunities some day because I still think he has the potential to do well.
He's probably the most handsome Korean actor in my eyes, something about him is so DIFFERENT from other actors in the industry, plus he's pretty versatile. But I always avoid watching his shows cause he's barely the main role and always the second lead or a supporting character woops. I'll probably watch some of these shows after this article though!
Interested in how they're going to pull this off because I feel like JTV is a very culturally driven show. I wonder how that will translate into Korean culture.
this show is absolute genius. every scene is so well thought out and directed, it truly blew my mind. the creators were so ahead of their time. i feel like people really don't understand it and underestimate it as just another school drama with a weird premise but honestly it's probably the most unique and well though out drama i've ever watched.
i don't want to get my hopes up but i really hope we get a season two!!! it was like, your typical jdrama but also really unique at the same time??? the humor was spot on, and yoshine kyoko and iijima hiroki were a wonderful duo. i enjoyed this so much.
I wholeheartedly agree with your review! You put all my thoughts about it into words. I went into it expecting so much because of the critical acclaim, and while I did love it, it was definitely not as incredible as I expected it to be.
Never knew people could be so immature this isn't the Oscars just let people vote for what they liked, since when has objectivity mattered in K-Dramas lol?
Ye Ji Won really stole my heart in Thirty But Seventeen. I would love to see more of the leads from that as well because they really made me fall in love with their love. I want to watch more K-Dramas now, My ID is Gangnam looks fun.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge and Kame are pretty much what got me into J-Media in general so KAT-TUN always hold a special place in my heart.
