i hate watching action/revenge dramas. The last 2-4 episodes are always so dissapointing. (ie. The Smile has Left…
SRY still the same person. It just that his outlook in life & his principles changed. He didnt change for anyone. He's coming to terms that the life he wanted to lead for so long in 14 years is not the life that will fullfill him in the end or long run. The circumstances has change. Also, someone's life is on the line. Im sure hes still going to get his revenge. Jang is a dying old man anyways lol.
Timeskip arcs are a pretty tricky thing to execute. But yes, the show needed atleast a few more episode to develop the 4 yrs timeskip.
SRY is a morally upright honest good man. Killing someone is totally offbrand of his character lmao. Yes, he lived…
I mean he basically was on a quest to revenge the whole time of the show. Its just that he's either stuck or some obstacle is always in his way in order to do so. Im sure Saeroy will get his revenge either way. Theres still 1 episode left. Revenge is only a part/fraction of Saeroy's journey & it doesnt define him. Is it anticlimatic? Yes & No lol.
Yeah this show once again confirms Korean revenge dramas are mostly pathetic. The main leads never fully gets…
SRY is a morally upright honest good man. Killing someone is totally offbrand of his character lmao. Yes, he lived his life for revenge but he himself is not a vengeful &spiteful person. Hes not going to kill people. Thats not him. Hes going to get revenge a different way, the moral way that he knows how. He's not going to risk going to jail again. If you wanted a revenge story like that, IC was definitely not for you lol.
I reccomend Rugal though. Its a new upcoming drama based on a webtoon of the same name & indeed has revenge & action. Plus its an OCN drama, the same tv program that produced Kill It.
SRY kneeling does not mean he's succumbed or FORGIVING & forgetting all the stupid sh*t JDH did lol. Saeroy literally cried his eyes out thinking he had to live his whole life that way for so long. He's tired lol. He's living a good life now & thats more important than some old geezer with no family, no honor, noone at his side, whose dying in 6 months of cancer lmao. Im sure JDH will be accounted for his past actions & JGW being the dumba$$ he is lol. People are worth more than a meaningless gesture like kneeling. SRY gets to decide what that means & it simply means 'nothing' to him.
Didnt kneel for his father but he really knelt for a girl bruuuuuh this episode angered me so much i cant even…
When JDH asked SRY to kneel for the first time he didnt want the bully or JDH to get the satisifaction of winning just because theyre rich & can do whatever they want. Yes, his dad lost his job in the process but it was better than working for shitty people & his dad understood that 100%. SRY & His dad became much closer & open a pub together. This time its different. SRY has nothing prove.
SRY kneeling is him letting go & that his life is more than revenge. SRY even said living life based on hatred was difficult. JDH is a dead man anyways & JGW is obviously going to jail. Someone he cares about is in danger. Now, he has nothing else to prove anymore. Continueing to just simply live with people he cares about just shows SRY is the bigger person & how he lived was the right way & shows how much of a f*ckup JDH is.
JHI in a lead role with someone who's younger than him lol. Im looking foward to it. Plus Chae Soo Bin is just the cutest thing. 1st time romance for Kim Sung Gyu, neat! He was kicka$$ in Kingdom.
I honestly think this season was more thrilling & had more energy than the 1st season. More emotional aspect too which I like. S3 onward!!! Young Shin is the MVP!
I've got to Ep. 9 and I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop it. It's the first time I've dropped a currently airing…
I wasnt sure what Yiseo had either because the show kept presenting her as a sociopath. The show did mention she wasnt diagnose with aything other than showing sociopathtic tendecies. She definitely exhibit signs as someone with narcisstic personality disorder.
Saeroy always liked Yiseo. His feelings for SA were wavering once YS came into the picture. He was lying to himself…
SRY likes SA since ep 1 obviously. Did I say the way YS goes about expressing/doing things for SRY okay. No it is not. She's purposely written to be terrible & does /say things with extremities. Im not exscusing her behavior. SRY likes SA & shes also a friend. They never go beyond that. SA likes the comfort of SRY likeing her thats why she always say ''Do you like me?" all the time. She never tells him she likes SRY at all. Their scenes are repetitive with their usual small talks & walks/dinner. Im sure thats what the writer is illustrating to the viewers that their relationship is stagnant. SRY's change in attitude & body langauge/gestures would indicate otherwise that he did have feelings for YS before the rejection/timeskip arc. He just didnt want to admit to it & ep 14 shows that. SRY & YS also built a relationship togther throughout the show as friends/partners like he said at the T or D game scene. Every answers regarding YS, he always pauses/ponders on it & doesnt say he outright doesnt like her at all. He's being careful with his answers. I get what youre saying about YS's behavior at the timeskip. It seems the writer wanted to keep that essence of her character from 4 years ago by showing her extremities. Does it digress from her development from previous episodes? She's someone who has behavorial problem so it wouldnt be realistic to have her ultimately be upholding/change with a 180* switch within 4 years. Although it diverts her character to her old/negative attributes.

SRY ofcourse didnt like YS instantly, it grew over time. YS tells him not to go on a date with SA & he says he still will because SA is his friend/someone he likes, obviously. That doesnt mean he cant have feelings for YS or that his dates with SA is purely out of romance when its just them talking & dining. Not romantic. People are capable of feeling for more than one person. SRY is highly aware of YS's affection & knows everything about her hence at the T or D game when asked that question. He knows YS's passwrd. YS's is purely devoted to SRY & knows how important IC & Danbam is to him. Does the way she go about extreme? Yes it is. Ep 14 perfectly illustrates that SRY feelings for YS was also one sided. He didnt know that YS actually liked him until the pub/rejection scene in ep 11. Theres reasons why he never accepted & rejected YS. SRY is putting up a facade/barrierso ofcourse everytime YS tells him those words like love at the timeskip, he's going to tell her to stop. He doesnt want to submit to those feelings he already has because it goes against his principles. He just didnt want to go forward with it 4 years ago because for 1. She's 20, a kid. People are going to gossip. 2. GS likes her so he doesnt want to betray a friends feelings. 3. He liked SA & tells her that constantly so he feels like hes obligated to like her because he kept telling her that but he never asked her on an official date. SRY does have a choice. He chose to like SA for 10 years but once YS came into his life, his feelings were wavering. He likes SA but it never goes beyond that. He just likes her, thats it. But his choice was also having feelings for YS all those years ago & now. Even SK tells him that its okay to hurt SA feelings if he doesnt like her anymore. But SRY is a good person so he doesnt want to do that either. Hes not confused at all. He keeps telling himself he shouldnt be with YS because of age gap, work, etc again then he stops himself abruptly when he talked to SK thinking about how he rejected YS. He never say outright he doesnt like Yiseo.
