i must confess most of a time i don't feel Amamiya is lead. i would say Nakauchi was more i assume this was suppost…
Yeah, I feel the guests and Kobayashi have more lines than Amamiya. Maybe they save his role until the very end, but I feel it's insufficient. I don't get to see varieties of Machida's acting at least until ep5. Hope we will see more of him in the last ep.
The only complain I have with this drama is I don't see enough Amamiya :( We need more Machida! Kobayashi has more lines than Amamiya and he has some of the clever lines in this drama. We finally get to see more of Amamiya's background in Ep 6, but it's already last episode. Are they sure it's gonna end just like this?
Akaso role in cm is label as lead role ( he said this was his first LEAD role) and Adachi is a main charachte…
Akaso is the main lead in CM, so the other actors are supporting actors. J-drama is always very clear about the main lead, if it is a double-lead it will be stated as such. If I remember correctly, there is the annual Galaxy award left, the one that CM won the Monthly Galaxy Award in Dec 2020. Let's hope for the best!
China doesn't really do dvds or blurays anymore, especially since you need a dvd/bluray player to play it, it's…
Thanks for the info. I saw Guardian released DVD set a while ago, that's why I thought that it might also be the case for WOH. I'm interested since DVD set usually will contain some unreleased scenes/BTS and that packaging is quite exquisite.
I must confess I didn't like Kurosawa at first and wasn't looking for a BL either, but wanted to see more of Akaso.…
LOL poor Kurosawa! If that's really the case, then we have to protect Adachi at all costs! XD Oh my, Machida's eyelashes. I know he has very long and thick ones, but ep 6 really highlights those features, especially those scenes in Adachi's house. I swear I have to buy whatever mascara he used (kidding XD).
Anyone know if it is common practice for C-drama to release DVD/Bluray set after the broadcast? I never bought DVD set for any C-drama, this could be the first one that I will consider buying if any (after seeing the whole episode of course), since I want to support them.
(´~ヾ) hmmm~~~ let's see....I honestly can't remember why I got hooked to CM. I discovered this drama by watching…
Definitely, even though I missed most of watchparties due to timezone difference, but the last one I joined was so fun! Speaking of which, maybe we should organize another watch party again sometime in the near future :)
Some advice to the new viewers, for me the the only saving grace in this drama is the acting and chemistry of the two main leads (Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu). I loved them so much and they were the reason I got into Chinese BL in the first place. As for the drama itself, it was a mess, illogical plot, cheap CGI, embarrassing acting of some of the supporting roles. The drama butchered the original novel story so much to the point of unrecognizable. If not for the two main leads, this show would've been a total flop.
Bit late but I read the other posts and wanted to contribute my experience. So it was the weird year of 2020 and…
Thanks for sharing Usagi! Yeah, I still remember the first time I came to this comment section, there were you, Ichihachi and some others who are the "founder" of this comment section :D thanks to you guys, we are all able to enjoy this show to the fullest. I can't thank you enough for all your hardwork to create that amazing information vault, I still go there from time to time if I wanna find some info/videos.
Both are good in their own way. But personally I'm more engaged with WOH, with TU I still often pressed the fast-forward button but with WOH I haven't touched it until now.
My first impression was similar to @Hikarinonaka. There were barely any previews or articles about the series…
And now just look, 2 months after the finale, there was international online event and countless magazine interviews and photoshoots :) I was so proud of Adachi in that episode, it wasn't easy for him to do it even though right after that Rokkaku spoiled everything LOL. Episode 7 is also my most fave episode, I've watched it countless times but still got the same fluffy and sweet feelings every time, it's such a perfectly executed episode.
I remember when I saw the trailer of the first episode and thought : this looks good , but since WYEL was the…
No worries, I'd love to hear many different experiences the fans have with this show. Different people has different point of interest. Oh, I definitely agree with the scene where Kurosawa immediately stood up after Adachi fell. I also remember that fans found out that right before that, Kurosawa actually had been looking at Adachi since he entered the office room, which showed that Kurosawa always paid attention to him. I was astonished by the level of details in this drama, there are so many "Easter eggs" making me appreciate the actors and crews more.
If I remember correctly, there is the annual Galaxy award left, the one that CM won the Monthly Galaxy Award in Dec 2020. Let's hope for the best!
