This was everything that you'd expect a romance web drama to be: short, fast-paced, cute and straight to the point. The story is something that is quite common and known to Korea: idols being in a secret relationship, fans getting feisty and the public reaction to that. Hopefully, this short series opened up some fangirls' eyes to see how hard it is for idols to be in a relationship with the person they truly love. The interesting thing that I found out about like 5 minutes ago was that the main character of this drama Lee Gi Kwang is actually legit an idol is a boy group Beast! I didn't know that before so it was really interesting and I think it's an awesome concept. Overall, the story was realistic, the acting was alright. I'd definitely suggest watching this if you want a quick break from a long drama. This web drama is cute, somehow nostalgic and will lift up your spirit!

I'm so glad that I came across this drama special quite randomly! It was short, sweet and worth the watch!

First off, it's not your typical historical Korean drama, no no. If you are tired of those "who gets the throne", "family feud" dramas about the Joseon era, this will definitely be unique and fresh. The story looks quite ordinary and familiar from the start, but it's so well written, that only 2 episodes are enough. On the other hand, I also though that the directors could've made this into a full length drama with the continuation of the story in modern days. I was familiar with the main cast from other dramas before. Kim Seul Gi will forever be one of the spunkiest, most genuine drama actresses. She brought this story vitality. Also, Yoon Doo Joon is quite a new actor that I've discovered, but I thought that he was perfect for the role. Supporting cast - all very talented, but they'd need a side story, maybe a spin off. Nevertheless, this is something that I'd rewatch again for the beautiful and unique story!

So if you ever find yourself on an urge to watch an interesting and short drama, please give this one a go. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed and that it will leave you wanting more!

Based on how popular and trending this drama is, I knew that I had a mission to watch it. And I have no regrets at all!

The story is quite unique if you think about it. My only question is, how can the writers create a story that sounds so ridiculous and somehow manage to make it work fantastically? Honestly, the first couple of episodes were really hard to watch. I never take most of the dramas seriously, but this one seemed so childish and unrealistic to a point that I had thoughts of dropping it. But I'm so glad that I decided to stick around! It's a perfect length drama to enjoy during your free time. I'm a sucker for fluffy romance, and it only appeared during the last episodes which is a bit sad. Well, I think just like in any series, you should always expect the main couple to grow attached to each other slowly. The chemistry between the main actors - so cute! I was used to seeing Chae Soo Bin as a villain character, but she's totally amazing and inspirational to me after this drama! Her character shined so much. Not to mention Yoo Seung Ho, who's performance in this drama was a discovery for me! Such strong character development is also what I'm appreciative of. To add, the supporting cast was very lovable and sweet! The music added a sweet little touch like a cherry on top. I'm very pleased with some of the songs which are now in my playlist.

So overall, this is definitely a drama I'd rewatch and recommend to any fluffy romance junkies out there. Thank you all for encouraging me to watch it! Once again, I'm so glad that I decided to ignore the funky sounding story and to just watch it!

Really impressed with the whole story and how it was superbly developed only in a handful of episodes. As some reviewers made a good point, this series made the whole love story blossom to the fullest compared to what regular dramas sometimes can't manage on screen. In this short 10 episode web drama, I got to experience all kinds of emotions from sad to bubbly. I do feel like the drama is still lacking one or two more episodes to fully complete its' purpose, but other than that, everything was just splendid! I finally got to see Minho's acting as a lead, and also the lead female actress' wonderful performance too. I think they had their cute and fluffy moments with their chemistry. Even though I give most of the aspects for this drama a high rating, however, I still feel as though the whole time travel concept is way too overused and is hard to still be enjoyable. This drama needed a click, something original or what we, drama fans, love to see. There are more appealing short stories out there, but if you take this drama, it has amazing cinematography, cute characters and a beautiful friendship/first love theme. If you're into that kind of genre and story and if you love the actors, definitely watch it!

I am totally head over heels in love with this drama series and over the moon happy to have started watching both of the seasons! My biggest mistake was definitely putting this drama off for so long!

Just like many other reviews of Age of Youth 2 on MDL, I can't not compare it to the first original season. Despite the main concern that some of the loved characters weren't in season 2 and that the main actress for Eun Jae has changed, the whole story line was so fascinating and entertaining to follow. I feel like this time we saw the real Ji Won's story. She, for some reason, definitely became my favorite character from the "Belle Epoque" girl squad. I also admired that these 14 new episodes brought over a dark but exciting theme. Overall, the writer-nims for did a fantastic job at showing the girls' charms once again. The actresses were stunning, I didn't know how to feel about the new addition to the girlhood - Jo Eun at first, but I grew to love her like any other character. To be honest, I was so happy when the old cast made small cameos randomly. Another huge thing that I love about this drama franchise is the OST that they put out. The Korean soundtrack is mesmerizing and the English songs bring freshness and youthfulness into the episodes! These songs are constantly playing on repeat, can't get enough of them! And lastly, I can't let all of these things go so easily...

That's why this drama needs a season 3! There are so many untold stories and so many possibilities for the characters, I'll be waiting! Age of Youth, thank you for making my Korean drama experience even more exciting than it already is!

Missing 9 or probably one of the most promising dramas of 2017 starring a star from EXO, talented actors and giving you hope that you'll love the thrill after reading the plot description. People were majorly disappointed and felt that they've wasted their time. However, I'm here to defend the drama by saying that it was really entertaining and left me on the edge of my seat all the time!

Rule no.1 for me in the Korean drama world is to never take anything seriously. Plot - superb, even though with many plot holes, but still excellent. Many people compare it to Lost, I see so many similarities, but these are two completely different dramas. The way Missing 9 was so unpredictable and unique was also because of the ever-changing genres: suspense, adventure, mystery, romance and especially comedy in random scenes. Feed me anything romcom and survival on the island and I'm good to go. Personally, my favorite thing about this drama were the two timelines and how each episode would skip back and fourth to complete the puzzle. In addition, I've read so many conspiracies related to this drama so that made it so such more amusing to watch. That beige clothing sepia conspiracy - blew my mind away! Speaking of clothing, I really loved the fashion in this drama. Bong Hee's overalls - a fashion statement! Not only was her fashion top notch, I really adored the strong and cute lead female character. Other character wise, all of them had their charms. I still stick to the main couple, I loved their chemistry and bonding on screen. Also, I would've loved for the director-nims to give Chaneyeol more screen time, c'mon! The OST was not that strong so it didn't leave a strong impression. And now time to discuss the ending (without any spoilers, of course), which terrified all of the viewers and made them curse at the drama. In my opinion, it was unexpected, unique and shouldn't be taken seriously. You can interpret the ending however you'd like. I just thought it was a great way to end it on a light note.

So please, don't drop the drama if you see negative reviews or certain plot holes start to come up in the episodes. Rather, focus on the characters, how their psychology is shaken after a huge accident and how they deal with their problems while trying to stay humane and reasonable.

What a refreshing and light-hearted drama series! Honestly, it surpassed my expectations and proved once again how you can't judge a tv show based on the written plot.

Personally, I started watching this for 2 main reasons. First of all, Seo In Guk is the male lead and he definitely played a completely different character than usual. Second, this drama had a very high rating in the romance category. However, it was not as good as suggested but not as shabby as described in the storyline. If I had to describe the drama in short terms, I'd say that this is a "filler drama". You know, it's one of those daily dramas that you watch as you're waiting for an epic drama to drop. Yes, it's filled with many cliches that are known to the every Kdrama fan's core. Yes, the whole story and characters seem absurd and unrealistic. But we shouldn't forget that this was made for entertainment purposes and we shouldn't judge it so harshly. To be clear, this had sad scenes as well as amazing comedy and fluffy romance scenes - a bit of everything to create an unforgettable drama. The actors did an amazing job as well. So many recognizable faces too like Nam Ji Hyun, Uhm Hyo Sub. Just as I mentioned before, it was super weird seeing Seo In Guk turning into a complete scatterbrain, but it weirdly fit him. Nothing special about the OST nor have I found anything to add about rewatch the series. There are just so many episodes and in my opinion, the last couple of episodes were completely unnecessary, so I started losing interest at the end.

All in all, if you're a fan of good acting and light romcom series, this drama is definitely for you!

I am always up for watching a fresh, jumpy, light-hearted high school drama. If you've ever wanted to come back to those old High School Musical/Step Up movie days, please watch this!

Just like any typical K-drama about school, this one deals about the same problems, characters, teachers. Nothing new in that field. That's why I found the story kind of lacking since you can always tell what's going to happen next. The fluffy factor is definitely out there, especially with the main couple. Their chemistry was great, I loved it right of the bat during episode 1 (they had enough screen time too so that's very fortunate.) Villains, like always, made me frustrated, second lead characters gave me a common fever known as "The Second Lead Syndrome". The music was very fitting as well, some songs are stuck in my head already!

Overall, if you like these dramas that are about teen-romance, high school problems, friendships this one is a great pick! I think 12 episodes are just enough for you to have a great watch!

It's probably one of the most difficult reviews for me to write here yet. Well, because I just can't describe my emotions after watching it. I'm in between loving it and finally being happy that it's over.

First of all, it's such a classic. Especially the bromance in the drama, one of the most powerful friendships in Kdrama world. At first I was very skeptical of watching this because I'm mainly new to Korean dramas and I've been watching new and fresh series while declining the older shows. I had the feeling that this would be super low quality, cringey and weird, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it's a 2012 drama, it was filmed nicely and quite naturally. Also, I'm a huge romance junkie and I was quite drawn back when I read the reviews stating that there is basically no direct romance in this drama. However, I just love all of the other "School" series so much that I still felt obligated to watch this one too. Actually, it was so unique and different that now I understand why it's so highly hyped about. School-themed series in general are really nostalgic and pleasant and this one brought a new light on the dark and cruel subjects of bullying, marks, friendships in Korea. The music was great as in most dramas, but what I least expected was that I'd fall in love with all of the characters! Even the bad guys!

Overall, this is a must-see for all of you that are into "School" drama series and want to take a break from all of the cheesy dramas that are being produced nowadays! Don't get let down because of the trailer or the plot, because this drama is a classic and will make you rethink of all the choices you've had in high school!

Watched this movie while flying on a 10 hour flight. Well, the Korean movie section was quite small, but I was a bit intrigued when I read the synopsis for this. I'm a fan of anything related to North Korea and the country is always a mystery to me. Looking back at this movie, which I watched about 2 weeks ago, I remember missing the whole "escaping from North Korea" idea as imagining those situations and what those run-away people feel is what makes it so exciting. However, the directors of the film decided to focus on the art, on some of the minor insignificant characters. I didn't like the female lead at all, she seemed very dull and plain. The male lead was kind of boring and indifferent as well. The only thing that really drove me to the edge of my seat was the major plot twist in the movie *shhhh, no spoilers here*. Overall, I'll keep this review super short just because there are plenty of movies and interviews about North Korean refugees, their current life, their journey and experiences. This movie couldn't fulfill my wish to reflect all of the things mentioned before. Overall, definitely not worth your time, there are better movies out in the Korean film industry.

What made me watch the movie was the interesting trailer. I saw so many recognizable faces and some of my favorite actors, that's why I decided to watch it. The story is quite unique and charming, I suspected a different ending, but oh well, it was a twist of some sort for these type of romance films.

The leading actress was amazing and I believe that this movie was one of her best acting performances. I would strongly recommend to watch this movie only for the cinematography and the acting, just to see some of the already-seen faces of the Korean drama industry. However, I wouldn't particularly say that this movie touched me or made me rethink about it at night. There were so many scenes that I would've loved the writers to add or correct. In my opinion, there are far better romance tear-shedder movies out in this world.

I was looking forward to writing this review for well... actually, I don't quite understand myself. I can definitely state that this drama was one of those that weren't worth my time, but I felt obligated to finish it no matter what. Probably because I was told that it's one of the best Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin performances of all time.

The Heirs is a perfect equivalent to the famous American TV series "Gossip Girl" if I were to describe it. It shows the ugly side of the wealthy and how, pretty much, every rich person is arrogant and evil. There were so many cheesy, cliche, cringe-worthy scenes that were absolutely absurd. Especially the very talked about American scenes and how americans are portrayed by the ridiculous stereotypes. I have to admit that the American accent in the USA + the surfer boy doing drugs scene left me speechless. I'd re-watch this drama again for a good laugh, seriously. Regarding the business and family matters, I couldn't comprehend who's screwing up who and there are still many unanswered questions in my head that left me confused. I just can't see this drama as realistic, it reminds me more of a shojo anime than a serious drama.

If you're a big fan of shows that focus on school and family relationships, you might like this one. But I feel as though this story just doesn't belong in the Korean drama world. Honestly, Americans do this genre of drama better.

Unlike many Korean drama series, what made me love this drama were actually the different characters' personalities.

You have to start of with Enrique, the most cheerful and bubbly drama character you'll ever see. I mean, I sometimes hear his hysterical laugh while dreaming.
Go Dok Mi, who we all can relate to. Personally, I was amazed by the development of her character throughout the series. You could see the different faces that she reveals in each new episode, which was quite interesting as well.
I just couldn't leave out the adorable love story of Dong Hoon and the ever so lovable Watanabe-kun! Focussing on their stories a bit as well was kind of a refreshment throughout the series.

With all of that being said, this drama didn't score major points when it came to the whole plot. I'm biased towards series with a plot sequence of "a community life". I'm very fond of these type of stories really, I've watched a lot of anime and series regarding that. But somehow, this story felt very undeveloped and filled with plot-holes most of the time. Would've liked if the creators of the drama left in the "brother", living across Dok Mi, as the main character, I think that aspect would've changed a lot.

Anyway, lovely series for rom-com genre lovers!

Hands down one of my favorite Japanese movies which inspired one of the greatest movie franchises of all time - The Hunger Games.

Of course, this movie was more brutal, not lacking the bloodbath scenes, a very common Japanese style horror/thriller movie. It was also very emotional, harsh and even a bit ridiculous sometimes (talking about the plot here) but in the end, it all falls in place. A classic indeed, always worth a re-watch with a group of friends or alone.

This drama is a perfect blend of comedy and melodrama. The main character "opposites attract" and chemistry factors were unbelievable. Of course, the plot was somewhat generic and quite predictable at times, but the romance portion of the it was very fast moving and well-developed. This is totally random, but I loved that the creators incorporated some American pop and classical music into the series, which made it more alive I guess.

Great drama overall. Though the ending left many unanswered questions, I would still re-watch this over and over again for the cute and funny moments!
