I enjoyed reading your comment! I would have loved to have seen Ahn Hyo Seop in the drama as any role, it would have been great to have a thirty but seventeen reunion. Also I had no idea there was a 4 year different between Kim Yoo Jung and Lee Do Hyun, I hadn't noticed at all, this is an amazing thing. They act so well! And I'm curious too what it would have been like on set/behind the scenes.

Watching and then searching up as much as you can find on the historical background of both the characters that were actual people and of the time they were in and what they were going through. It feels like you're able to store the drama closer to your heart that way and it also makes the rewatches afterwards way more satisfying too ^^

I know what you mean! It is very concerning with it being painted or shown as an escape in the way it is in done in the drama. It really is scary with such an upfront way of them saying they felt they really had no other choice than to do what they did.

Just finished the first 2 episodes and my heart is here for the romance but breaking because of the tragedy. I read up on the wiki/etc beforehand though to prepare myself but it doesn't help, it's still breaking.
It also doesn't help that two of my faves are the leads. They are doing such a phenomenal job in the first two episodes.
