Ok, I get what you mean. I still think his behavior is short-sighted and very harmful. Not only is he destroying his career for himself, but in order to protect his ass he ordered his subordinate to falsify the report, and for such a crime both of them can lose their jobs very quickly. After what he pulls off, he'll be lucky if he gets a disciplinary dismissal, as he adds criminal charges in each episode.

I'm not going to convince anyone that this drama is bad either, because as I said, I haven't made up my mind myself yet. But I have noticed that when someone likes a series and by the second or fourth episode they write a review of 10/10 somehow no one suggests them to wait, because maybe something will appear that will change their mind.

Hmm, maybe in that case you can help me see what is so GREAT about this drama? Is it the main character acting like the last idiot? Every decision he's made so far has been wrong, and it's only getting him further and further down. While in the first episode I could tell myself that he was acting senseless because he was under the influence of drugs, in no way am I able to justify him not reporting the loss of the gun. He pursued the suspect, was hit in the head and lost consciousness, for which he had proof and a witness. He might have been reprimanded, but he wouldn't have left Chekhov's gun bound to fire and kill someone. How would he then explain himself? On top of that, his personality is not clear, as he was not clearly built up before the incident. Even before the incident, he acted like someone with a borderline personality. But let's leave him be now. FL steals someone's mail and hides it for her own benefit. “Bad guys” are so simple, obvious and shallow and their behavior so typical that I have seen it in hundreds of other dramas of this type. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Doctor turned out to be an insurance guy from the shadows manipulating classmates who did him wrong in high school and taking revenge on them. And even if not, the drama didn't really make me curious about who the Doctor is, because I didn't manage to get attached to ML before the incident, so I don't feel any loss or concern about his fate. In the same way, I don't care whether the lieutenant is the captain's friend or his enemy, because it wasn't established at the beginning that there is a super mentor-student or older-younger brother type relationship between them, so his “betrayal” doesn't shock me at all. The way the cinematography is shot is rather mediocre, except for a few shots that annoy me, as well as the music, which does not convey the atmosphere. I'm watching because I like Ji Sung's acting, but here his character has not won my sympathy, my appreciation, and only arouses irritation. The screenwriters throw information garbage at the viewer in an attempt to artificially create tension and curiosity, because they can't do it organically. It's nice to see so many familiar faces, but overall this drama's quality is very far from those produced by 2019, where the unpredictability and tension were able to knock people into their seats. This drama reminds me a bit of the videos on Tik-tok, where every ten seconds or so you have to throw in something shocking to keep the attention of the viewer, who can't even focus for 5 minutes.

So yes, at this point I don't know if I like this drama, nor I see any greatness in it, because no element that I could like in it has appeared yet. Everything to me is a typical production trying to interest the viewer, but in my case without success. The problem is not whether I like or dislike the genre, because I like the genre, but in this case the execution for me is just meh. I emphasize, for me, who loves the first season of Stranger, but the second season was just meh.

Ok, if someone likes this drama from the beginning, good for you. Maybe we just have different expectations and pay attention to something different when watching. I'm giving this drama a chance, but everything for me depends on how ML will behave in the next two episodes and whether he will still be a dumb, cowardly asshole, or if he will do one thing that will gain my respect and sympathy.

I'm afraid I fell victim to the drama's extensive promotion promising that viewers of season one would be satisfied with season two. For me, this drama is more and more disappointing with each episode. Sorry, just too much talking, too little action, the jokes are not funny at all this is not it. So why am I watching? Just for the Second Prince. He is a wonderful villain. I feel like hugging him and saying “don't worry, you'll make it someday”. :)

The clip at the end of the shoot looks very good. If they keep the quality for the whole series it will be an awesome production at least on par with the biggest classics. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because they really interested me. I haven't seen something as promising in a long time.

Despite all my affection for one of my favorite actors, I couldn't watch this movie. I mean, I started it, but I couldn't make it. I don't even remember why. Hm, I should give it another chance. I'm adding to "Plan to watch"

Don't worry about these people and their accusations. If they can't read with understanding and treat even such an innocent comment as an attack, that's their problem. In me this description did not arouse interest either. The film may come out interesting, but the synopsis doesn't sound interesting. And knowing productions of this type, I can bet that we will get some overly patriotic scenes. The question is whether this enthusiastic patriotism will be shot in such a way that it doesn't beat you over the head with a shovel, or naturally and subtly. But we'll find out only when the film is released in theaters, which is not soon. In any case, I was not interested in this synopsis, and I will rather let go of this film until I see something interesting in the trailer.

Probably yes, but that is not the main focus. He will probably want to use her in his revenge and she will want to use him for her own purposes, so there will be some lying. Eventually, however, they will begin to support each other and eventually fall in love with each other. Probably.

Until we see the drama with our own eyes, we won't know what convention and theme this drama will be. Unfortunately, it is often the case in c-ent that the production promises one thing and we get something else. It is also sometimes the case that during production or when broadcasting its license, they change their original vision and develop a certain theme at the expense of others. Some kind of love story will almost certainly be there, but personally I wouldn't expect too sweet a romance, as it seems that the drama is mainly aimed at a slightly more serious (older) viewer and at men, and they prefer more of a different substance than romance.

These are, of course, only my guesses. None of us know anything for sure, as the production has not given any hard announcements on the matter. And even if they do give some announcement, as I mentioned earlier, they can change anything at any time.

What GQ did by making this short film is a crime against my heart. This should have been a full-length film, not just barely a little over two minutes. I haven't seen such a good and interesting production in a very long time. And that smile at the very end - wonderful! That smile changed the narrative 180 degrees!

Wait a minute, and for what reason? Was season 2 filmed when I wasn't looking? Because if it wasn't filmed then:

Every time I watch this drama (about every two years) I like it more and it's been a few years since I gave a 10/10. I wish I could give more.
I actually watch it a little differently each time, from a slightly different perspective. Maybe that's why it always gives me something new.

I never said a bad word about the actress and I ask you not to spread idiocies about her. A badly written character is not the fault of the actress and I can tell the difference between a real person and the character she plays. My attack is on the character ZY not on the actress playing her. Don't get me mixed up in any attacks on this talented girl, a versatile actress. RM played brilliantly creating an incredibly repulsive character and she should be rewarded for that.

RM and XZ did their best to make the drama come out well. In my opinion, the fault lies with the script but mostly with the director for not allowing the story to make sense and be done well. This is just a perfect example of what I feared - the creators found that if they starred a popular actor, the drama would sell anyway regardless of the quality. Exactly as is the case with 97% of c-dramas.

So that there is no misunderstanding I will say again: RM played well and I have no problem with her. The problem I have is with ZY and how ishe was written and directed.
