I was serving around the web and came across an interesting analysis. I recommend it to those who are confused by the bizarre comments, usually extremely negative, against LOCH: The Galants. The analysis is interestingly presented, concise and, in my opinion, very accurate. I'm not familiar with the channel, I just recommend this report. It's also a nice analysis regarding the whole C-ent, so if you're a fan of any actor/actress/film that is undergoing a black hate campaign, you can learn about the mechanisms of that campaign.

This forum is not swarming with haters. One person—just one—meets the objective criteria of a hater. If this person appears to multiply before your eyes, maybe you're seeing Legion. You're waging war where there is no enemy, disturbing passersby, and mindlessly tormenting the innocent. But you know what? You're right—it makes no sense for me to care about someone so hypersensitive, someone who tarnishes the reputation of all Xfx.

So this is official: in a few minutes, I will block your account. Maybe then, I won’t have to read your fanatical ramblings anymore. I hope others will follow my lead.

This forum is not the private property of fans. Neither you nor any fan (much less a black fan) have exclusive opinions on this forum. I am criticizing your comment no more than I criticized the comment of a certain person radically unfavorable to the film.

If you are directing your comment at specific people, make it clear. Overly general assumptions and comments can hurt innocent people and discourage their positive perception of the film. I ask you to give space to those viewers who are not interested in the actor, but in the film, and have the right to express their positive or negative opinion. They also have the right to perceive the film however they want, because that's what the reception of any work of art or cultural text is all about - through the prism of the viewer, not through the intention of the author.

So if you don't like certain comments against the film, well “If you don't like something, give peace to those of us who are at peace. And as they say in China: 'Let it go' “.

This film has received very good reviews from people knowledgeable on the subject. The Pekin Daily published this…
When I go to the cinema or watch a movie on TV, I don’t need to familiarize myself with entire philosophical doctrines beforehand. I think most viewers feel the same way. The current Oscar nominations prove that what "critics" like doesn’t necessarily align with what is truly good or what audiences actually enjoy.

My comment is directed at your comment, not at the movie, which I haven’t seen (yet) and won’t speak about (yet). Your comment suggests that if someone doesn’t like this film, they don’t understand the philosophy of martial arts and are essentially an idiot, and I simply cannot agree with that.

For heaven’s sake, this is not a martial arts manual or a philosophical treatise. It’s wuxia entertainment, meant to amuse and move the audience, not teach the truth about life. I respect your perspective on this film, but please stop imposing it on others. The world consists of more people than just die-hard fans and paid haters. There are also casual viewers who couldn’t care less about the philosophy of martial arts and just want to have a good time.

Can't wait to watch this. When are they going to release it internationally? 😌
It depends on the country. Generally February 20. Sony is the official distributor, and I see that new trailers are constantly appearing on their channels. The date I mentioned above also appears.

An appeal to all reasonable people: don't be fooled by the black obsession. Some comments here are as black as coal. Only my question is: if someone can't stand the actor, doesn't like the genre, why should he buy a ticket for this movie? Is such a person sure to see this film? Or were they all invited by their cousins, aunts and grandparents to gleefully spoil this person's holydays and watch the actor he so hates? But in that case, those cousins and grandparents were probably happy with the movie.

Well, because seriously, if a movie promises to be not for me, is not in my genre and/or I can't stand the actor, I don't fight with fans to buy a movie ticket. It's a waste of my money. I wait quietly for the free version. So either such people haven't seen the movie and only have the opportunity to spout private dislike, or they have an unhealthy black obsession and fought for tickets to spout private unhealthy dislike, or they just get a few cents for every negative post. Business is business, am I right 😉 ?

P.S. Verify accounts. If someone has a completely empty account and convinces you that a particular movie is garbage because the actor is very uncool, even if it is an old account, is such a person credible in your eyes? Does this person really watch the movies, like them, rate them, or just appear casually to rake in a few cents from a post?
I'm not pointing the finger at anyone, as the problem affects many accounts.

So far, didn't make it to Top 3: Nezha 2 (#1), Detective Chinatown 1900 (#2), Creation of the Gods II (#3). You…
I am astonished at how much effort you have put in to post so much hatred towards the film solely because it starred an actor you despise. I'm the first person to fight for the opportunity to voice negative opinion, but your endeavors exceed all norms of a norml opinion and bend to black obsession. Forgive me, but really, so many examples, all full of negativity, and seriously none positive? Really, all the positive reviews are from uncritical fans of the actor, and the negative ones from completely unbiased citizens? Oh, I've lived in this world a while, and I haven't seen such a thing yet. Bravo, indeed.

You didn't like the movie (although I doubt you've seen it) cool, express your opinion and disappointment (why did you even spend money to see a movie with an actor you hate?), but your antiwork to sow as much hatred as possible is a tad exaggerated ;)

I have a few questions, why he had no project in 2024? And why this guy seems like has a lot of haters and or…
In the second half of 2023, XZ was on the set of Legend of Condor Heroes: the Galants. The film is scheduled for release on January 29, 2025. In the first half of 2024, he was on the set of the drama Zanghai. In the second half of 2024, he was on the set of another film. For some time now, XZ has been acting in projects that are more complicated in terms of production, for which preparation takes more time, as does post production. That's why no project of his has been screened in 2024. XZ doesn't have anything backlogged that is lying on the shelf and collecting dust. He is not currently an actor who would take 3-4 projects a year, as some do. He focuses on quality, not quantity. So for him, several months of training to prepare for one role is normal.

As for anti-fans and toxic fans, the more popular someone is, the easier it is to attract people with obsessive personality types. These people create for themselves a particular image of the actor - overly positive and overly negative, thus unhealthily idealizing or demonizing him. This is a typical social phenomenon that has always been known. There is nothing to worry about. These days you'll be able to meet a wide wave of hatred against him, because his movie is premiering, so to prevent another rise in his popularity we can expect organized, paid hate campaigns. Normal tactics, nothing to worry about either.

How about Tony Leung Ka-fai? Thanks.
To add a cast member you need: The name of the actor, the name of the person he or she is playing and some official link confirming that he or she is playing there. For Ada Choi, as proof, I gave a link to a video on YT with a scene from the film (along with XZ) and the character's name. Seemingly everything is clear, but still waiting. That Tony plays there I know, but I don't know who and I don't know the guy, so I can't add the link even if it was in the trailer, because I don't know which guy it is. :( You can add yourself by modifying the actor/film account, or if you prefer, leave me a comment here with the information: actor, character, link (minute). If you do it yourself, it will be faster because without an intermediary, but if you do not want to do it yourself, I can mediate.

This is information for anyone who feels like adding someone.

With deletion is more difficult, because you need some official information (proof) that the person does not play there, such as the entire cast list or confirmation that this character is played by someone else.

When is it releasing?
There is no official information yet. The drama doesn't have a license yet, so it's hard to predict. My personal guess - the second half of 2025.
