Just watched the first 3 episodes and I love it already! They use similar background music as The Day of Becoming You lol.
Also I found out the screenwriter of this drama is Wang Xiong Cheng and I love all of his works from Find Yourself, Go Ahead, The Day of Becoming You and now this drama. I know I can trust him!
Cheng Cheng is sus to me especially after an old woman told Yuanxing about how CC set fire on a bed of a kid who bullied his friend. This is interesting.
Just finished binge-watching this drama, overall I can say this is a good remake. Some aspects are better in chinese version, but some aspects are better in Thai version.
Pros: 1. The main lead visuals are godtier 2. Only 20 episodes so it's not draggy compared to chinese version 3. Good chemistry 4. I like how bold the FL character was 5. Nannam (the neighbor is cute) 6. Good acting especially Push acting. The scene when he decided to leave the family and chose FL was heart-wrenching. He successfully delivered the emotion. 7. The assistants. I love how they're so loyal toward the ML 8. The brotherhood between ML and 2nd ML
Cons: 1. Lack of depth in some characters, for example the grandma. She was evil throughout the whole drama but she suddenly changed by the end of episode but then the main leads just forgave her like that. No matter what were her reasons for treating ML like that, I couldn't empathize with her. It didn't make sense how she was being forgiven easily.
2. The relationship between Hom & Kanghan. I think it would be better if they could've explore more about their relationship. Their reason to reconcile after hating each other is just not convincing enough.
3. Female Lead is the designer but she barely make any design. It would be better if they also showed the part where FL being a successful designer. I feel bad for her because after the plagiarism incident, she didn't have the chance to regain good reputation publicly.
Chinese version has many flaws but it's still much better than this one. Especially the acting and the character. Well, FL acting isn't bad tho, but it's probably because Zhao Liying's acting is too outstanding so I feel like this one seems plain to me.
And in term of villain, Lishu was annoying with her schemes but she didn't do any crime. Meanwhile lika has done a lot of crimes and harmed the FL to the point she almost lost her life (that scene when she was drowned during outing) yet she got away with what she did so easily.

Yu Tu's income as an engineer isn't high but isn't low either. He has decent income I guess. He can afford to buy an apartment too. But compare to his friends who work in financial field, his income is indeed low especially when people have high expectations toward Yu Tu since he's a genius. And if we compare it to Jing Jing's income, ofc the gap is very huge. Let say Yu Tu's income is around $50K / year. Jing Jing can get the same amount of income in a day or a week. That's why he is insecure.
All the elders in this drama are annoying af. The only one that is nice and such a sweetheart is Jang Mi Sook (Dan Dan's aunt). She has flaws but it's still understandable. I hope the writer doesn't make her character fcked up too.
Yes the one with bangs. It's on minute 1:05. I saw more spoiler from weibo and douyin, it seems that there will be misunderstanding because of that girl. But I hope they won't break up because of that.
From the trailer I think there will be another woman who likes Mo Ling Ze and she tries to ruin the main couple relationship. I hope there will be no unnecessary break up.
