Aesthetically pleasing and simply heartwarming that it feels like you're reading a poem.

I started watching this drama with no expectation because I'm not familiar with the actors. Moreover the previous Shin Se Kyung's dramas I've watched weren't my cup of tea.

I don't know how I ended up clicking this drama but after I watched the first two episodes I was totally hooked. Honestly, the plot is not really new and the characters themselves are obviously fictional but surprisingly this drama is so well written and nicely executed, so it still successfully gives you realistic feeling that you can relate to its story.

One of the most interesting parts about this drama is its range. I really like how diversed and woke the story is by including many aspects in life from love, friendship, family, career, gender, sexuality, environment, art, sport and many more. Although they bring up alot of issues, they still manage to keep its pace consistent and it doesn't go all over the place.

Another thing that I like about this drama is the meaningful conversation between main leads. Yes, this drama contains a lot of talking. However I don't feel bored at all. I like how honest, beautiful and pure the conversations are, even when they talk about ordinary things. They really put a lot of depth in their conversations.

You also don't have to worry about the angst because this is a lighthearted drama. So, despite its poetic vibes, you still can have many laughs. The humour itself is not exaggerated but it's right in its portion which I like it.

How about the casts? There are four main leads in this drama and I love all of them. Each one of them is unique in their own way.

1. Ki Sun Gyeom - He's so pure, selfless and innocent. I don't think this kind of person exist in real life but still I can't help falling in love with his character. Im Shi Wan portrays this role really really well.

2. Oh Mi Joo - She is probably the most realistic character in this drama but that's maybe also because I can relate the most to her character. I love how independent and straightforward she is. She's adorable!

3. Seo Dan Ah - She's a badass character here. She's a strong, an independent and a confident business woman. She is interesting.

4. Lee Young Hwa - I think he is the weakest among the main leads but he's still likable especially when he's with Seo Dan Ah and Ki Sun Gyeom.

That's all I can say about the characters. I think it's better for you to observe by yourself.

Overall this drama is really interesting and well executed. Each of episode keeps getting better and better. If you like a lighthearted and heartwarming drama, I really recommend you to watch this.

Hope you who love life can also be this lucky!

"Hi Venus" is a surprisingly delightful drama that evolves from a somewhat ordinary start to become a cherished addition to the world of modern dramas. The journey of this drama is a testament to how perseverance can often lead to hidden gems.

While "Hi Venus" may encompass some clichéd moments, what sets it apart is the writer's ability to infuse realism into the storyline. This approach makes even the most conventional elements feel relatable, and the viewers can find themselves immersed in the characters' lives. The nuance of the drama is truly praiseworthy as it takes a refreshing stance on relationships and serves a plethora of meaningful dialogues that infuse the watching experience with endearing, warm, and cozy feelings. It's the kind of drama that uplifts your spirits and leaves you with a heartwarming afterglow.

One of the standout features of "Hi Venus" is the impeccable chemistry between the main leads. Lu Zhaoxi, the male lead, breaks away from the typical CEO character archetype seen in many cliche dramas. He is portrayed as a playful, warmhearted, considerate, and sensible individual. This deviation from the norm adds depth to his character and makes him highly endearing. On the other hand, the female lead, Ye Shilan, may appear annoying initially, but as the story unfolds, her character's depth becomes evident. Her defensiveness, insecurity, lack of confidence, and trust issues are all rooted in a compelling background story, which makes her character relatable. Furthermore, she displays self-awareness and sensibility, allowing viewers to witness her character development over the course of the episodes.

The selection of background music in "Hi Venus" is spot-on, enhancing the viewing experience, particularly during the humorous scenes. The choice of music contributes to the drama's overall charm and resonates with fans of "The Day of Becoming You," as both dramas share similar vibes in this regard.

In conclusion, "Hi Venus" is an immensely enjoyable drama that is well worth watching. If you're in search of something light, funny, and a story centered around a healthy relationship, then this drama is a perfect choice. Its ability to turn clichés into charming, relatable moments, coupled with its realistic portrayal of characters and their development, makes "Hi Venus" a heartwarming and endearing addition to the world of modern dramas. However, what truly elevates this drama is the remarkable chemistry between the main leads, Lu Zhaoxi and Ye Shilan, which adds an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the storyline, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

This drama is so underrated. I'm so mad at the low rating this drama got.
Tomorrow With You is one of the most beautiful dramas I've ever watched.

The plot was really amazing and unexpected! It was something new and unique. I don't know how to explain it clearly, but this drama was really something. It was not only about romance and time travel but there were so much more. This drama taught me about how to treasure life. It made me realize that every choice we make, even a small one, it can give huge effect to our future. Also, the romance was so strong and beautiful. I'm completely in love with it! I know this drama didn't have much action but more into conversation and the plot was slow, that's why some people found it boring, but I totally enjoyed it. Every conversation means so much to me.

I really love every characters in this drama and the casts did a great job. My fav is Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah), now I'm a fan of her!

and for the music, I didn't really give much attention to it, but since I love this drama, I'd still give it high rating.

Rewatch value: I'll propably watch this again when I'm in calm mood and not busy.

Overall this drama is amazing and it deserves more recognition. So please give it a try! :)

So Bad but So Good; I watch this drama not for the plot but the male lead.

"I fell in love with the most dangerous man, why can't I let go?"

The lyrics above definitely describes my feelings about the male lead in this drama. His character is indeed portrayed to be a typical "Dangerous Man" that is mysterious, dark, intense, and toxic. Ngl, if it's in a real life, he would've been canceled because he's such a red flag 😭. However in this drama, despite the toxicity, the male lead is also very charismatic, good looking, charming and intriguing that you can't help but fall in love with him. It's all thanks to the actor who has successfully delivered the character to be that attractive. His acting is top notch and is totally on point. I can say the male lead and the actor are the best part of this drama.

One more thing that I like about this drama is the romance between the male lead and female lead. They have great chemistry and there are a lot of steamy kisses. I read some comments saying they don't like the female lead character because she's clingy but I think I have different opinion about this one. Yes, the female lead is clingy and looks weak but she's not a passive person. She made the first move to pursue the male lead, confessed her feeling first, comforted the male lead and she always ensured the male lead that he wasn't alone. The female lead gave the male lead the sense of security and he could find solace in her. I think their characters complete each other.

As for the story, this drama obviously has many flaws. To be honest it has so much potential but unfortunately the writing is weak that there are many loopholes in the plot. I suggest you not to use your brain when you're watching this drama and you can ignore all the non-sense things.

Overall, I think this drama is not perfect but it's still worth to watch and I totally enjoy watching it despite all the flaws. As for rewatch value, I think there's possibility that I might rewatch it again only for the male lead (lol). However, if you're typical a so called "woke" person or if you're looking for a solid plot, this drama isn't for you.

I never thought that this drama would be my favorite. At first, when this drama started to air, I didn't have any interest to watched it. The background of the drama was 1930's Japanese Occupation of Korea, so I thought it wasn't my cup of tea. But since a lot of people talked good things about the drama, I gave it a try. Surprisingly, i enjoyed the first episode. Actually, the first three episodes were just okay and nothing special. But still each episodes always left me with some question and curiousity. However, in the 4th episode this drama started to grow on me and it got me more curious and more curious that I became thirsty of this drama.

this drama had it all; the romance, comedy, friendship, bromance, sad moments, happy moments, and mistery. Everything was served in the most beautiful way. No less and no more than it should be, but everything was always on point, especially the way they slowly reveal the secret episode by episode. It was so well written. Also the cinematography, it was very good just like Goblin or Tomorrow With You.

All the characters are also amazing especially the main characters. Han Se Ju had the best character development tho, but Yoo Jin Oh was my favorite.

Don't ask about the acting, they were the best. Yoo Ah In's and Im Soo Jung's acting never failed to satisfy us. And for Go Kyung Pyo, I think he had his best performance in this drama. Especially in the 15th episode when he cried, it was so painful. The trio acting and chemistry stole my heart. And also the one who played as Baek Tae Min, he was also amazing. I hate Baek Tae Min character, but at some moment I pitied him too.

For the music, it was perfectly fit with all of the scenes in the drama. I love all of the soundtracks. Satellite and Be My Light were my favorites.

Overall this drama was amazing and brilliant. I enjoyed this drama so much. When I was watching this, it felt like I was on a journey. I can watch this drama over and over again and I will still be enjoying it.

DAMN, I LOVE THIS DRAMA SO MUCH!

"Meet Yourself" is a truly exceptional Chinese drama that shines brightly in the realm of contemporary television. With Liu Yifei and Li Xian at the helm, the acting in this drama is nothing short of outstanding. Their on-screen chemistry and emotional depth bring the characters to life in a way that is both relatable and sentimental.

The beauty of "Meet Yourself" extends beyond the performances; it's also a visual treat. The stunning cinematography, capturing the ever-changing windswept landscapes, is a testament to the show's dedication to aesthetics. Love and Life Bloom in 'Romance on The Farm'

'Romance on The Farm' transports viewers to a unique world where the ancient rural landscape takes center stage. The story introduces Lian Man Er, who mysteriously finds herself in an enchanting countryside village within a game world. Here, she encounters the quirky Lian Family, a source of amusement and challenges, many of whom are indeed troublesome and somewhat toxic. Along her journey, she crosses paths with Shen Nuo, an enigmatic figure who appears standoffish but hides a warm heart. As they navigate the challenges of troublesome relatives, embark on farming and business ventures, and work towards prosperity, their relationship deepens, and they pledge to support each other through life's twists and turns.

The drama's title, 'Romance on The Farm,' might hint at a heavy focus on romance, but it's the family dynamics that truly shine. The heartwarming story draws its strength from the genuine and relatable relationships among the characters. The Lian Family, with all its quirks and foibles, feels like a real, albeit eccentric, family, making it easy to connect with their trials and triumphs.

Aesthetically, the setting and cinematography transport the audience to a picturesque rural village where the vibrancy of farming life is on full display. This immersion into the countryside, complete with sprawling fields and charming cottages, adds an extra layer of authenticity to the narrative. The cinematography captures the beauty of nature and the warmth of the village, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

The chemistry between the main leads, Zeng Shunxi and Tian Xiwei, is the drama's beating heart. Their performances are nothing short of amazing, and their on-screen connection is palpable. They convey the complexity of their characters' relationship, showcasing the journey from initial encounters to deep emotional connections. It's their incredible acting that elevates the story, making their characters, Shen Nuo and Lian Man Er, truly come to life.

While the ending may follow a somewhat expected path, the drama provides a satisfying twist with a special episode that reveals Shen Nuo as a real person rather than an NPC, offering closure to the narrative. The revelation comes towards the conclusion of the story. However, it's the lack of ample romantic scenes that leaves viewers yearning for more glimpses into the romantic aspect of Shen Nuo and Lian Man Er's relationship.

In essence, despite the inclusion of 'Romance' in the title, the story primarily focuses on family dynamics. While the heartwarming family narrative is engaging, one can't help but wish for more romantic scenes between the main leads, Shen Nuo and Lian Man Er. The soundtrack of 'Romance on The Farm' is beautiful, complementing the emotional tone of the story and enhancing the viewing experience. The melodies are evocative, weaving seamlessly into the narrative and adding depth to the characters' experiences.

In summary, 'Romance on The Farm' is a delightful drama that transcends its title to offer a heartwarming portrayal of family dynamics and rural life. The exceptional chemistry between the main leads, stunning cinematography, and evocative soundtrack make it a captivating viewing experience. If you're in search of a charming, feel-good drama that immerses you in an idyllic rural world and introduces you to a lovable cast of characters, 'Romance on The Farm' is well worth a watch.

An Amazing Piece of Work: Aesthetic Cinematography, Strong Characterization, and Excellent Acting

It was my first time watching a historical and a political chinese movie with republican era and World War II as its setting, so I didn't really know what to expect except for the main casts, Tony Leung and Wang Yibo. Both of them are well-known figures in China and also I've been a huge fan of Wang Yibo, so I think it's worth to gave this movie a try and I'm glad I did.

Maybe this genre is not for everyone but I can say this movie is enjoyable and the plot itself is great. There are indeed many conversations happened in this movie but it gets better as the story progresses and they also successfully deliver a satisfying climax. What I love about this movie are the strong characterization and its beautiful cinematography which makes the movie feel more intense and engaging. However some part might be confusing because the time setting is non-linear and there are many back and forth between scenes, so you need to really pay attention to it. I also wished they could add some informative details in the movie because I feel like some scenes aren't fully explained.

Another fascinating thing about this movie are, of course, the actors and actresses. They have big names involved in this movie and All of them did a great job in delivering their roles. I won't talk much about Tony Leung because he is, no doubt, a veteran and his acting is brilliant as always.

Meanwhile as a fan of Wang Yibo, I can say this is one of his best performances as an actor. It might be a great pressure to act as main role alongside a veteran like Tony Leung, but I think Yibo managed to deliver his character excellently and the chemistry between the main leads work very well too despite the generational difference. I'm so thankful that they gave Wang Yibo the opportunity to be a part of this movie. This is another breakthrough for his career as a movie actor. I know many people still underestimate his acting skill since he started from idol actor, but I think you could start to throw your skepticism away after you watch this movie. I'm proud of how far he grows as an actor and I know he will continue to develop because he always pours his heart into his work.

Overall, I really recommend you to watch this movie because it's worth watching and even for those who have some worries about 'communist propaganda', I think this movie is safe for you and you can still give it a try because the plot doesn't deeply showcase the idiological aspect but rather focuses on espionage and the schemes against the japanese invanders.

A Solid and Beautiful Drama That Will Give You A Heartwarming & Endearing Feeling

"Go Ahead" is a remarkable Chinese drama that stands out as one of the best in the genre. It weaves a heartfelt narrative that revolves around the central theme of family, while also intertwining elements of friendship and romance in a seamless and realistic manner.

The story of "Go Ahead" is a captivating exploration of the profound meaning of family. It delves into the complexities of different family dynamics, portraying a beautiful blend of heartwarming and heart-wrenching moments. What sets this drama apart is its ability to tackle the various conflicts without resorting to melodrama. Instead, the plot maintains a level of authenticity that resonates with viewers. As you watch, you'll find yourself emotionally invested, experiencing both heartbreak and warmth simultaneously. The drama also succeeds in providing plenty of cute and funny scenes, effectively lightening the overall tone.

One of the standout aspects of "Go Ahead" is its consistency in maintaining the pace and plot quality from start to finish. Unlike some Chinese dramas that tend to lose their momentum towards the end, "Go Ahead" remains engaging and well-executed throughout. This consistency is a testament to the excellent writing and execution, making it one of the most well-crafted Chinese dramas you'll come across.

The performances of the cast in "Go Ahead" are truly exceptional. Each actor and actress bring their characters to life with remarkable skill. Steven Zhang's portrayal of He Ziqiu is particularly noteworthy, showcasing his growth as an actor since his previous role in "Skate Into Love." He successfully conveys Ziqiu's complex emotions, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

Tan Songyun, playing Li Jianjian, consistently impresses with her natural expressiveness and emotional depth. Song Wei Long, who portrays Ling Xiao, proves his acting prowess and paves the way for future successes in his career. The supporting cast, including Li Jianjian's best friends and their individual struggles, is also praiseworthy. Sun Yi's portrayal of Qi Mingyue stands out as brilliant, and her character's story arc adds a layer of depth to the narrative. "Go Ahead" is unique in its ability to make all the characters, even the parents, integral to the storyline, and Chen Ting's performance as the toxic character is worth noting.

The music and soundtracks in "Go Ahead" deserve special mention. The well-chosen songs enhance the emotional depth of the scenes, and their lyrics are beautifully intertwined with the drama's themes. The soundtrack selection adds to the atmosphere and has a way of sticking with viewers, finding a place on their playlists long after the series ends. "The Light Which Cannot Be Seen" is just one example of the standout tracks that enrich the overall experience.

In terms of rewatch value, "Go Ahead" is a definite must-watch again. Its exceptional storytelling, outstanding cast, memorable music, and consistent quality make it an irresistible choice for viewers looking for a genuine and emotionally resonant drama. You'll find yourself drawn back to the world of "Go Ahead" time and time again, unable to get enough of its heartfelt and realistic portrayal of family, friendship, and love.

Full House is the first K-Drama that I watched and it remains as one of my fav Dramas all of time. Maybe if you watch it for the first time in this era you'll find this drama is not that good, but still, for me it was one of the best dramas in its time. So I'd give high rating for this drama because it was really good and fun.

Story: I give it 9.5 because back then in 2004 this drama was so refreshing, entertaining and the story got high original value. Although so many people think the Thai version is better, I love the Korean version a lot more. This drama gave me so much feels in 2004, while when I watched the Thai version I found it kinda boring.

The casts are really good and I love the chemistry between Rain and Song Hye Kyo. They're so funny and sweet.

The music is just perfect!

I've watched this drama for so many times, the last one is two weeks ago, and I still found this drama so enjoyable. But I gotta admit that I cringe so much at the clothes they wore in this drama. They were so horrible right now.

Overall this drama was really good in its own era. If you watched this drama in 2004, it would probably become your favorite. But if you haven't watched it yet I'm not sure if you will like it or not. Maybe the Thai version is a better option for those who haven't watched any version of this drama.
