Even if we're talking about the storyline, it's totally a mess and illogical. WSG is supposed to be the most powerful role in the story, but they didn't use its full of potention. Also LWY, with that much amount of screentime yet she's lacking of character development. She's only there to accompany JL most of the time.
If they only want to give WSG and WWY 3 minutes screentime each episode, they should just make them as supporting roles and picked another casts instead of marketing them as the main lead with equal billing.
At this point, it's very obvious how GJM are using them to attract viewers to benefit his agenda. We all know JJY is a traffic star with large fanbase, ZSX is known and acknowledged by general public and already has many hit dramas, CDL is also a breakthrough actress acknowledge by general public.

Also those who followed the Reuters know how the filming took 5 months to finish and there are many scenes we saw in the Reuters being cut. Meanwhile the other shunxi's drama such as Mysterious Lotus Casebook only took 4 months to film and Shunxi got a lot of screentime.

He was indeed kinda arrogant when he was young, but then reality humbled him down to the point that it made him insecure. Then after he figured things out, he gained his confidence back and be a better person.
This drama focused on ML character development. It portrayed how the ML isn't a perfect person despite his genius brain and insane visual. But throughout the time, he grow up to be a better person. His character is very relatable to a lot of people, I think that's what makes his character interesting.
This deserves at least 8.0 I know Zhou Zhifei character is getting on everyone's nerve, but if you take a look at the history of wars, there would always be people like Zhou Zhifei who only cares about himself.
"Lament of the River Immortal" is a way better title than "Feud".
The previous title is totally xianxia-coded. From the title alone, we can already feel the angsts and the sorrow. Changing it into "feud" is so unserious.
Watching this drama was fun enough and I enjoy the chemistry between main leads, but they exaggerated the plot way too much. Some scenes are cringe too.
