Title Doom at Your Service Spoiler
Against my own advice, I'm trying to work out one of the details from episode 12. In episode 11, the Deity said…
So the way I viewed it was that the Deity did make it so they never met so the contract was void but maybe because they started to remember each other, items from the original timeline started to come back or she allowed them to come back. That's theory one. All of Tak Dong Kyung's friends and family don't remember Myeong Mang but the conversations and actions Tak Dong Kyung took, even the conversations that were tangentially about Myeong mang and the actions that involved him weren't erased. The second theory I have is that the most the Deity was able to do was get rid of the contract because she is close to dying and no longer at full power. Also technically the deity did not interfere with them or make them cross paths. They first met at the hospital when they bumped into each other and then again when she saw him beating up the child abuser. I believe she directed her to the roof because at that point she realized it was inevitable that they would remember each other because they had already bumped into each other twice.

Title To My Star
wait... how is this a Where Your Eyes Linger spinoff??? what have I missed?
I don't think it's a spinoff since Kim Pil Hyun is not the main character of this drama. It is happening in the same universe as Where Your Eyes Linger though. In Where Your Eyes Linger Kim Pil Hyun is a friend of the main couple. His father worked for Tae Joo's father's company.

Title The Uncanny Counter Spoiler
So what is up with somun. The first time he trap Wigen in his body when she just pass bh and now he drag Wigen…
The green spirit is the soul of a person who was killed and eaten by an evil spirit. Usually I think both the evil spirit and the green spirit would need a counter to ascend them and I think Mun somehow dragged them from the living body and then forced the evil spirit down and connected the good spirit with yung through his link. My theory is that Mun was always psychic and that his powers enhanced once he became a counter. Even though they took being a counter away from him, he didn't forget all the things he was capable of (eg. martial arts) and I think that supernatural side of him was irreversibly widened.

Title Tale of the Nine-Tailed Spoiler
he did not reincarnate, as i understand. he just resurrected
Lol she didn't really like Rang and she was basically ignored by her brother when she was trying to get Yeon reincarnated so I don't think she would have been much help in this situation.

They allude to it being 9 years in the future because she ran into that god that comes and brings bad luck every 9 years. This means that Rang got reincarnated as soon as he died which doesn't really make sense because he killed so many people. They really could have put a time stamp to make that clearer though.

i guess the last scene was just to create a curiosity among the audience and for fan service... i dont think this…
I think that's a fair assumption since they did mention wanting a kid after he came back. Seems like it was just another storyline that wasn't followed through at the end. Ughhh they could have just shown them with their kid in the last 20 seconds instead of him seemingly having his powers still.

Lol seriously. The writers could have made everything a lot easier if they clearly stated things. I just remembered Ji-Ah's birthday was shown right before she ran off to the park and met the god of the underworld so she would have either been turning 30 or 31. That would mean that it was 9 years in the future when Yeon met the reincarnated Rang and also possible that Ji-Ah was 39 and that's why she met the bad luck mask guy.

Oh yeah I definitely didn't notice that time jump there. It still doesn't make sense, though, you're right. I…
Right? His death was really unnecessary. They should have just had everyone move on since Yeon made his choice and live their best lives. Then they show cute scenes of JI Ah and Yeon right after like I'm supposed to be happy and forget about Rang. Also, the writers could have made everything a lot clearer by putting a time stamp to show the passage of time.

I'm pretty sure at the beginning of the series, they stated that she was 30 though. That's why I assumed that they were trying to show the passage of time with the bad luck mask guy. A time stamp really would have erased all confusion.

I think that was a plot hole. Either they just didn't have their kid yet or the child wasn't shown.

Title Tale of the Nine-Tailed Spoiler
In their rush to give their “happy ending” they decided to abandon logic all together. Okay, we can accept…
Yeon came back to life after 6 months but they allude to it being 9 years later when Yeon sees the reincarnated Rang. They allude to it being 9 years in the future when she meets that masked guy that brings bad luck every 9 years. Still strange thought because Rang had a lot of sins so I wouldn't have expected him to be able to reincarnate so quickly. Also you're right, it doesn't makes sense that Yeon just came back as an adult and didn't reincarnate to a new person. Also after saying he was human, he somehow still has fox powers which makes no sense.

They allude to it being 9 years in the future when she meets that masked guy that brings bad luck every 9 years. Although that means that Rang got reincarnated almost immediately after he died which doesn't really make sense after all the bad things he did. I loved Rang and he was my favorite character but I would not expect him to be able to reincarnate so soon.
