LMAO i already had the hardest time watching the 5 original series to catch up and be able to watch our skyy, but now i have 7 MORE??!?! (already watched bad buddy). gonna cry ðŸ˜
right?? i don't think every bad character should get the tragic background that explains his motives. sometimes…
yes exactly!!! i'm almost glad he didn't get a pity story actually because then he feels more unpredictable and dangerous. we don't even get a chance to connect or empathize with him at all which i personally liked esp in this story. he simply liked playing god and was far too clever and creative.
i don't think nami was dumb at all. she believed junyeong with the friend thing cuz he was supposedly a professional (and he obviously lied to her + her friend answered so defensively instead of just saying no). she went to the phone repair place after finding out there was a device in her phone. she left the phone in other rooms, the whole "no text only call" thing. yeah she had some bad choices as well, but it was literally only in the span of three days for her. like you said, we knew from the beginning and she was living it. she didn't know what she didn't know. she made such clever decisions after she actually DID know.
i really wanted nami to stab him too with her knife. i'm not really sure why they didn't cuz i thought that that was what they were going for. it would've fit so perfectly too. oh well, at least she killed him. the ending was also a little weird for me. i didn't mind the time skip with the news cuz that's such a common ending, but then the whole camera thing was meh. i at least wanted a little closure with her and her dad, friends, and old workplace.
i don't really get it though. some people complain that the men were sexist in the show and often looked down…
yeah so true. i liked that one near the beginning when the woman chose to go against the man in the mudpit. i was pretty hopeful, but yeah. even at the end when shin bomirae chose to do the rock punishment, i really wanted her to at least hold out for a little, to no avail.
it would be cool if they could do a physical 100 s1 and s2 alternating between men and women. i just dunno if they'd be able to find 100 bodybuilding women lol. it'd be SO nice if the women's season had challenges geared more towards women's strengths as well. we can only have wishful thinking now though 😔
i quite enjoyed it. i didn't mind that he didn't have much of a motive because i feel like he just loved to play god. siwan did a great job at making me feel uncomfortable af. i don't even think the fml was that dumb compared to many others i've seen. her actually killing him at the end was so beyond satisfying wow.
He reminds me so much of Kang Tae Oh. The actor on Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Even their voice is quite similar.
oh my god YEAH. i kept thinking he reminded me of someone, but for the life of me i couldn't tell who i was thinking of. visually i don't think they're similar, but their mannerisms really are. their mouths and that kind of crooked smile. thank you ðŸ˜
i dont get the hate so far like... japanese and chinese candidates are praised a lot too and u damn know the line…
i think it's something you had to experience live to fully understand. the reason why so many people are/were angry IS because the japanese and chinese candidates were heavily praised. in fact, the most popular trainees were japanese and chinese, but because of xenophobic editing, they lost a lot of popularity across each episode. korean trainees often got a halo effect, while chinese got evilly edited, and japanese got zero screen time.
kepler is not only korean, but it's also only 3/9 foreigners when during the show almost ALL the top trainees were foreigners. the reason why there are so many are korean members compared to foreigners is cuz the last vote was 50% korea, 50% international (+ effects of the editing). the show received this hate because it kept promoting fairness between the three countries, yet VERY obviously favored the korean members when they were simply not fan faves. had the show been fair, it's clear that the final lineup would've been vastly different so that's why people hate it. ofc korea would prefer koreans, but then why promote fairness between the countries?
it's an entertaining show for sure, but it's hard to understand without live references of who's popular during that ep.
i know the ending is gonna be apparently disappointing, but i still love their found family so much. they're all so sweet and i love how open they are with each other. it really makes me wonder how close real groups are. they're just so cozy to watch. i'm a takara stan lol
i don't really get it though. some people complain that the men were sexist in the show and often looked down…
i feel like it'd be quite difficult to split it 50/50 though. i'm sure there are far less bodybuilding women than men and even then, would they only keep the games women vs. women then men vs men? what about if and when they'd ever eventually mix the two together for team games? narrowing down from 50 each is much different than narrowing down from 100. it is definitely doable, just much different from the direction they intended.
i think the whole point was to give the women a fair chance even if they're biologically at a physical disadvantage. they wanted to prove their strength even if they're at that disadvantage. i'm sure if eunsil got the chance (no thanks to the unfair team matches), she'd excel quite far. i mean, men and women are always competing at the same time in other competition shows like survivor. this show only wanted to have one winner as well. that's not possible if you split the sexes.
but like that's also the thing. i keep seeing people complain for both sides. either they're sexist for splitting the sexes up or they're unfair for keeping them together. it's a lose-lose because either way people are gonna complain about it. but i for sure see what you mean and i do agree it'd make for fairer competition. i just don't think it's what they ultimately intended anyway, given that the show is called physical 100 as well. two winners just sort of diminishes that "final best body" they wanted.
This was pretty fun to watch. Some obvious flaws though. Hopefully if they do a season 2, they improve.Men and…
i don't really get it though. some people complain that the men were sexist in the show and often looked down on the women for being physically weaker (such as the ship challenge), and even the women themselves didn't want to be looked down on for being a woman. but then at the same time other people say it was unfair that men and women had to go against each other and that they should've been separated.
it sounds like a lose-lose anyway. if they separated then people would say they were being sexist because women can be just as strong as men, but if they keep them together then it's unfair because men have a physical advantage over women.
I have to agree... when she crawled back to Aguni it ruined the intensity of the final moments in Borderland.…
but i thought whether they died in the borderlands or not determined their fate in the real world and whether their heart would stop? that's why so many others died, such as karube and chota. in that case, why did everyone who pretty much should have died magically end up living in the borderlands and in the real world 😠i feel as though they still remember each other's presence and have some form of dormant memory, they just can't really fully remember.
Chishiya and Nigagi I can still consider that maybe their vital organs weren't hit and they were just very slowly…
omg that's actually so true. i forgot that she wasn't even alive to choose whether she wanted to leave or not. but seriously why did ann die from two shots, but akane is perfectly fine in the borderlands and in the real world?? in the real world she was only missing her leg, but ann was in some emergency surgery lmao. plot armor to the max.
what's wrong with putting a man and a woman in a mud fight? even if they invited, the high profile people did not need to accept either. they chose to come.
