Dropped the show after the boat task.I get that constantly having them do individual tasks might take up more…
agreed, i don't really understand why they never switched up the teams. it's clear that eun sil was extremely strong and proved that she's an incredible leader, but it's obvious the circumstances were set against them. one team challenge may have been good, but why so many? it's hard to prove how strong you are individually if you have to rely on teammates. i have a quip with the show already for letting injured contestants still participate. at first i thought the injured guy was pretty alright, but when he starting hopping i was like...no way they're letting this man push a 2 ton ship right now. later on there's also a running mission where they let a contestant with A FRACTURED RIB participate. yeah, a FRACTURED RIB.
They will be policeman and teacher... Not students...
okay that makes so much more sense LOL. i was like yeah they look incredibly young for their ages but high schoolers may be a bit much...esp compared to the other actors
i actually hope there isn't a s2 cuz as much as i'd like to watch them more, i think s1 ended so well and s2 might only add more unnecessary drama like most s2 romances do (aka some new ml love triangle or misunderstanding or separation)
I have to agree... when she crawled back to Aguni it ruined the intensity of the final moments in Borderland.…
honestly yeah if they wanted to keep the realism. i get why they didn't kill so many off because of fan reaction and potential for s3 or a movie, but at least ONE character, even just akane cuz she was a new one. i felt so cheated seeing her and some of the others still alive. like chishiya definitely should've died to complete his character arc with his sacrifice. disappointed they didn't at least kill one off.
pretty cute overall. i wasn't a big fan of the main couple's dynamic for most of the series, it felt too one-sided and then suddenly out of nowhere she liked him back (or maybe this is because they don't have those heart-thumping sound effect moments like in other romances), but once they both liked each other they were so adorable. that one montage near the end where they were happy together and cuddling melted my heart.
some of the moments were way too sweet too. i wouldn't be able to live if someone said to me the things kang ho said to mi ran. how he always said he's so lucky to have met her, how much he respects her, how she's the most amazing woman he's ever met 😠and the way he would've so easily thrown his acting career away to be with her because she's worth it omg. obviously a stupid choice but still incredibly romantic.
the side couple was okay. i was expecting a lot more from them. tbh their relationship kinda confused me more than anything. though, the confession scene was definitely adorable.
this was such a fun watch from start to finish. i got so hyped by the end esp with all my favorites. definitely highly recommend for an quick, entertaining, and slightly comedic weekend watch. i love the unique challenges and how over the top the hunters are. but they fr need to be appreciated because holy hell how tf did they SPRINT like that in dress shoes, sunglasses, suits, AND A FREAKING MASK. they are literally not human.
i'm only on ep 4 atm, but something about asuka is really throwing me off. i can't tell if it's her character or honda tsubasa's acting, but it feels so...inauthentic? i'm usually okay with the cheery optimistic character, i just feel like it doesn't fit well? it feels really off for some reason juxtaposed to ig the more "natural" personalities (besides kenji who's obviously comedic relief).
I really wanted to love this despite the quirkiness of Japanese OST’s, I’m not really a fan of the way they…
hmm the dating ban doesn't only exist because of that though. it's also to make sure the idol isn't distracted/overworked and to prevent potential scandals from arising. idk how much you follow kpop or anything, but there have been so many scandals recently from exes against idols, whether true or false. i mean, kim seonho just had that huge one last year.
sorry but i was way too bored with this series. i usually like slow paced thrillers and this one had some really interesting concepts. i loved the maturity of it compared to other thrillers i've seen. but i think it was too slow for me? i tried so many times to watch and even when i was interested, i'd literally fall asleep. i think i fell asleep three times within the same episode. it's a shame because i like the cast and i was excited for this to come out.
I bet if the ML isn’t conventionally attractive, this show would have much lower rating, tbh. It kinda glorifies…
i think most serial killers were good looking because it was one of the ways in which they lured their victims in. most people prefer dating good looking, hygienic, and charming people and once others got vulnerable, then that's when they'd kill. if he wasn't conventionally attractive then he'd probably have a lot less victims, though i see what you mean by glorifying.
will this be getting a s2/part 2 like most netflix dramas have been recently? or is it only going to be 10 eps? i don't want to start it now if i'm going to have to wait for another part.
