oh how i wish they didn't make it a romance and made saeroyi into a respectable "father figure" or like inspirational senior type of thing. if itaewon class wanted to break the boundaries like they kept advertising themselves doing, then they could've and should've strayed away from the forced romance and the horrible kdrama cliches at the end. forced romance, character assassination, eyeroll-worthy event that pretty much happens in every kdrama and makes me instantly dislike the show (has to do with fml), it started off so so strong and then promptly crumbled to pieces. i'll forever miss the awe i had in the first half. we'll just pretend the second doesn't exist.

Finally Netflix is doing something right by bringing season 2 of good shows.i wish they would do season 2 of extracurricular…
i'm pretty sure they were planning to, esp with that ending, but they prob held back because of kim dong hee's scandal and most likely won't make a s2 until it completely blows over

i quite enjoyed this. obviously you might read the plot and think "wow...only in japan" and you're totally right. only japan could pull off such a unique concept (of cis men getting pregnant) and make it into such a heartwarming social commentary about pregnancy difficulties, double standards, parenthood, etc. as always, japan has yet again excelled in a slice of life drama series. i just wish it could've been ever so slightly longer to explore deeper into these topics. a lot of them felt too glossed over and just...happened without any prior setup. but other than that little nitpick, it's an enjoyable watch.

i think it was just okay. the cgi is fantastic and the atmosphere is quite wondrous, yet mysterious. i liked the idea of questioning the intentions behind the magician and i quite liked il deung's storyline. but i think (like with most of these short dramas) it suffered from being too short. in miniseries, the plot usually has to take center stage, but this one felt like nothing happened past the first 3 eps. at least for me, i wasn't very interested in the crime side even though i'm normally big on crime and mysteries. the music personally wasn't my style. i'm not a big ballad person and besides the first and last songs, it all felt a bit slow and dreary. i also didn't really care for any of the characters in particular. they built il deung to be a really likable guy and then...well idk what happened tbh. he just never felt the same after that. i think they all just felt a bit static to me (except for il deung but they also butchered him at the same time)? it's a bit sad because i thoroughly loved it in the first half and then by the end i couldn't wait until it was over ://

i'm not sure if this is a technical thing they have to do to get the right shots/angles and i'm not sure if other shows do this too (none that i've noticed) but they stood SO close to each other whenever they talked. you could prob only fit two fists between their faces lol. it's nothing bad or anything, just something i noticed

Title The Sadness
Man when i tell i paused the movie almost 20 times... im a fan of gore but this is peak level uve been warned
i am definitely not a gore person, but at the same time, all these comments and reviews make me so curious like "how bad could it POSSIBLY be?"

Person Kim Soo Hyun
I was just thinking the same…..how exactly and why is he a top Hallyu star when he’s really hasn’t done…
i guess you don't know what subjective means and no one is questioning how he is a hallyu star who undeniably had big hits, it's just surprising that he is the MOST popular AND the highest paying lmao chill

Okay so can someone tell me if it had any romance?
there is some between choi sungeun and hwang inyeop's characters, but it's not the main focus of the show. it's still a pretty high school crush kinda cute tho. inyeop/ildeung is absolutely adorable
