Everyone is a psycho in this show....everyone
I'm on episode 17 and I agree. There is literally not one character that is fully decent. They are either straight up psychopaths, liars, abusers, users, conceited, depraved, corrupt, merciless, soulless, unrepentant, plain evil, or some combination of these and more. Both the adults and their bratty children. Like they do the worst things for the stupidest reasons. Consider hurting/killing a kid so your child can get a place in a school...wut? And how did they all think it was okay to just move a dead child's body elsewhere without reporting her death like nothing happened? Then they all have the gall to judge other people for lesser things. Ugh...can't even

I agree on all points except the 4th one. If they haven't invited him he would have been with his mom and she…
That's my point. Her future self should have written the reason not to invite him so her present self would have known the important reason NOT to invite him. As it was, she didn't see the reason so she just went ahead.. Her future self could have saved them a lot of trouble. But to be fair, his mom might just have killed herself on another day, so there's that.

I decided to rewatch this 6 years after the first time I watched it. I couldn't remember anything that happened so it was like watching a whole new drama. I had given it a 7.5 rating the first time. As I was rewatching, I didn't understand why my rating was that low. I thought it deserved around 8.5 for how interested I was in it. But as I hit somewhere past the middle point, I saw why. The drama starts off strong. Interesting and engaging. But as we get closer to the end, some stuff doesn't make sense anymore. I started rolling my eyes and fast forwarding through some scenes.

I have few question for those really understand the movie (or read the manga): 1) why Naho loves Kakeru? 2) why…
I know, right? How could Suwa sacrifice is wife and child. But I guess he understood that he got a chance in one timeline and hoped that Naho and Kakeru could get a chance in another timeline. But I agree with you, the deep love/affection for Kakeru seems exaggerated for someone they'd only known for a very short time. I think that reading the letter did alter them though. The fact that they knew he would die without their intervention could have had something to do with it. That could explain why their future selves also seem to have this attachment. Because he died, his short time with them became something special. Maybe.

So this movie was touching but......
The female lead was so frustrating
1. Why tf did she not read the letter all at once? This annoyed me throughout.
2. Why would she continue to stay passive even when the letter expressly told her to do something? Like she would still be hesitating.
3. Along the same lines, watching her made me wish the site I was using had a 2x button. She was so mf slowwwwww.
4. Why did her future self not tell her the reason not to invite Kakeru on that first day? Seemed like a pretty important thing to mention.
5. Why the hell did they leave him alone on the day they knew he would commit suicide????

Can someone explain to me how Dae Young's father did not recognize him? I still can't get over that. His own son who lived with him for 18 years. In fact, the memory of his son should have been his 18 year old face. How could he not recognize him during that whole time? Even the day he looked at a picture of their family on the bus, he still didn't see it. This just seems so unrealistic to me. And I feel as if he should have looked familiar to his kids as well. They too knew is 18 year old face for a while. Even if they didn't recognize him exactly, he should have looked familiar. I wasn't a teenager yet 20 years ago, but I still recognize people from then.

I'm finally up to date. Only two episodes left now. I still want justice for my boo Ja-Sung!!! Not really rooting…
I really dislike how pushy Deok Jin is being with the teacher. She has told him many times to leave her alone so I'm like PLEASE LEAVE HER ALONE. Even if they have similar hobbies, she's just not into him. I understand that Ja Sung is not really a bad kid, but I understand why Sia dislikes him, and I support her not suddenly liking him just because he confessed. He has been a huge jerk to her brother and caused him to be an outcast. I wouldn't forgive that easily either.

So the commission didn't get in trouble for falsifying evidence, threatening witness, etc? Also, you can smuggle…
Literally all questions I had. And also why didn't the choir/orphanage notice the missing child? How could the inmates have made and set up that whole balloon without the guards noticing? There are actually a bunch of unrealistic things that happen. I guess the audience just needs to be able to suspend disbelief

The description on here doesn't quite match the movie I watched. They weren't engaged and she wasn't planning a wedding. They just lived together

This is literally the first [East] Asian drama I watched. It's been almost 10 years now. Thanks a lot for being the gateway to my kdrama addiction and ruining my life.
