I held off on this drama when it was first airing but caught up right before the final episode was aired. I was iffy about this since I really loved the Taiwanese version but I was surprised at how much I actually liked this.

Most people know this story so I won't bother talking about the plot.

My only complaint about this version is the pace during certain episodes and the ending. The first 10 episodes moved fairly quickly to me. Not in a bad way though. It kept me wanting to stay up longer to watch another episode. But episode 11-15 moved slowly. Everyone (well those who have seen the other versions) knew what was coming and I felt that the drama was just dragging on.

The ending, I was expecting too much. I was slightly disappointed to be honest. I felt like a lot was left on in the last episode.

I enjoyed the cast. Kotoko's character wasn't as annoying as all the other versions thankfully. Naoki was calm cool and collected, I liked how Yuki played him. The family was cute. Naoki's mom is always one of my favorite characters. Kotoko's friends were extremely entertaining too.

Overall, I really liked this version. Hoping for a second season or a special but I would definitely recommend this to those who have seen the other versions and aren't sure about this one.

I have had my fair share of sad Japanese movies and dramas but by far Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide is the one thee saddest drama I have ever come across.

It's based off a true story, which just kills you a little more inside as you watch. A 15 year old boy who is so ambitious about school and life suddenly finds out he has a tumor in his brain. Just knowing that alone, your heart breaks a little inside. He had so many goals for his future and for this sudden news to come out of nowhere, Keisuke falls into despair and becomes rebellious and has given up on everything in a way.

I have cried during many movies and dramas but this one, this one had me crying buckets. I paused this so many times because I couldn't breathe or my eyes were too watery to read the subtitles.

That's when you know the cast did a phenomenal job at acting. Ryo. Oh Nishikido Ryo. When he cries, boy can he cry. His acting is always amazing. But I think this has to be one of my favorite works from him. His scenes where he lashed out at his mother felt so real and emotional. With that, Hitomi Kuroki, did an outstanding job as Keisuke's mother. The scenes with her and Ryo were just amazing. Everything felt so real. Too real even.

This is a real tearjerker. Just thinking about it makes me want to tear up. If you decide to watch it, please be prepared with a box of tissues. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see a sad movie or loves tearjerkers.

This drama turned out differently then what I expected. And I mean that in a good way. It was the first Taiwanese drama where I said "Wow, I loved this" after finishing.

It's a very cute romantic comedy drama.
Pretty much a pretty boy who comes from a rich family, just wants to have fun etc. So he pretends to be penniless and works in a pastry shop with the main girl.

I liked the cast for the most part. I didn't realize Jungmin was in this at first. Pretty surprised but his acting was A+ His expressions were perfect. Whether it was a happy, sad, frustrated, or cute expression. Kingone is always spot on. I love his acting. The main girl I didn't really love her all that. Same with her friend. I found them both to be annoying at times.

Music was okay. The opening theme was cute (as well as the graphics of it) and I absolutely loved the song Jungmin song Bad Person & Kimberly's Ai Ni. Both fit perfectly.

Overall this was such a refreshing drama to watch. At times I felt like the drama was dragging on a little bit but it's still one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas. Would definitely recommend this to first time tdrama watchers ~

I feel Koizora is that type of movie that can leave you in a short state of depression after finishing. I remember finishing this movie and I literally sat still for a few minutes taking in what I just saw while tears just ran down my face.

This story is supposedly based on a true story and can I just say this is a complete tear jerker. My friends kept pushing me into watching this and even though it's sad, I am so glad I decided to watch it.

This movie is just an amazing story about ones first love. It teases you with so much happiness and then just stabs you in the heart with sadness. I think it hurts a little more inside when you realize this based off true events.

I loved the cast. I really liked Miura and Yui together. There were those awkward acting scenes but I've grown used to them after watching so many dramas. But their chemistry was pretty good. I liked the supporting cast as well. Their characters were shown just enough and all blended well together.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone and if you are still iffy about watching this, just watch it..with a box of tissues of course

I absolutely adore Gui Gui and George Hu. I saw the long preview for this and was excited because the story looked pretty interesting. After finally finishing this 30 episode drama, I am left pretty disappointed to be honest.

This drama started off pretty well. It kept me hooked for the first 10 episodes. After a while though I found myself skipping parts through out the episode because it just seemed pointless and was just dragging out.

The ending. Oh geez the ending. It definitely wasn't..how I thought it would end. I mean, if you read the plot you can pretty much predict what will happen but I feel like they should've used more episode to explain the story towards the end. That may sound confusing but if you watch it, it'll make more scene (i dont want to spoil the ending)

I loved the cast though. Gui Gui & George's acting was spot on. Their chemistry was perfect. The supporting cast was perfect too. The parents, friends, other love interests, i loved them all.

I would recommend this drama to others but I honestly give them my opinion on it. I wouldn't watch this again though

I didn't know this manga was made into a movie. I jus recently started reading the manga also so I decided to watch this.

It's cute. It's your typical popular boy, unpopular student romance. But I still liked it. I think this would've been better as a drama since everything seemed extremely fast. The whole teasing phase then relationship phase all seemed rushed which is uncommon for movies.

I think if you haven't read the manga you would probably like it more.

I loved the cast. Matsuzaka is some serious eye candy ~ all the characters were really likable but I feel like some of the supporting cast should've had a bigger role like in the manga. It's kind of like they were just there to be there. I liked the two main leads but I feel like their chemistry didn't develop well enough. They were cute together but I just didn't seem like they really liked each other, it was rather lacking.

The music was pretty good. The audio for the whole movie was a little weird so it was hard to hear the music clearly but they were enjoyable tunes.

Great, great movie. Gave the story a 10 because it was based off a true story. Never heard about this movie until today, mainly watched it because Lee Jong Suk talked about it on a variety show. I didn't know the story or cast and just watched it.

This is a very inspiring movie. there are always movies about enemies somehow getting put together and becoming a team, but it's usually fiction. the fact that this actually happened makes it that much more amazing.

I loved the cast. didn't realize Ha Ji Won was in it, and as always she aced her role. the supporting roles were all great. there wasn't one person that didn't fit their role.

I absolutely love sport movies and the ones based on true stories are the best! Plus the ending was just priceless. it made me smile (: Everyone should watch this movie!

To be honest, it took me a while to finally start this drama. Nothing against it, I just wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it. Thankfully I did and may I say it was such a refreshing drama. It was different from everything else I was watching and I loved it.

The storyline was the typical rich man meets poor woman but it used that to branch out into something better and different I think.

Loved the cast. Of course Oguri is a great actor and I think he had amazing chemistry with Satomi! I loved them together. Her upbeat attitude went so well with Oguri's strict I-just-have-to-work sort of attitude. And of course the supporting actors were just as good, especially the employees at Next Innovation.

I loved Miwa's songs for this drama. The scenes where her insert song would play were perfect in my opinion.

All in all, this is just a really good drama. It doesn't have all the romance of others but it has just enough to balance the drama out. I will watch this again the the future, no doubt!

I'm usually biased when it comes to dramas with actors I've seen in other dramas. So I decided to watch this because I adored Yusuke Yamamoto in Atashinchi no Danshi. To my surprised I really enjoyed this drama and a lot of the other actors I didn't realize were in the drama.

Though the plot seems kind of unrealistic I feel Yusuke and the other delinquents in the drama played their roles off well. I loved the whole cast. Especially Akira, though the story was mainly around the "kids" he played an important role as their mentor and I think he played it pretty well.

It was interesting seeing the actors actually attempting to do all the gymnastic moves. it showed how much effort they put into it. And they weren't half bad.

This is a fun but at times serious drama about teamwork, strength and friendship. It's one of those where you don't mind there being little to no romance if you love romance in dramas. I rewatch this drama from time to time and I never get tired of it.

Randomly saw a few gifs of this drama on tumblr and it interested me. I usually love dramas where there is only one girl with a bunch of rowdy guys. It always comes out as such a good friendship drama.

This all in all was a cute drama to me. Not as much romance as I hoped for but the friendship the drama portrayed made it sweet.

Loved the cast, though the main girl got on my nerves at times. I really loved most of the guy students, not because of their looks but they played that yankee turned friendly character type well. Oh and the jiichan in this drama was just too cute!

Not sure if there was more music but the only one that was constantly played was a song by Funky Monkey Babys and I always love their music, it fit well with the drama and the scenes it played it.

Overall, it's a cute drama. there are some parts where you just get annoyed but it's expected, and even though the ending wasn't to my liking, i still loved the drama as a whole.

oh and may i add, i have never cheered for so many guys to get with the main girl. And the main guy wasn't even one of them! I never cheer for the second man, but i did and then i wanted the girl to get with the other guys too! ;~~;

Wow I wasn't really expecting to love this movie, heard of it because of Kang Sora but never read the plot until I looked on this site and all I have to say is that this movie was simply amazing. It is just once of those great stories about friendship during school and 25 years later.

I love love love romance in any movie but I didn't mind at all that there really wasn't any in this movie because it didn't need it at all. The story of the girls friendship was strong enough to keep the movie going. And the cast was extremely cute and funny throughout the whole movie and during the emotional scenes they acted well.

To my surprise there was a lot of fighting. which i don't mind at all because they made some scenes hilarious.

would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This is really just a funny story about friends exploring Harajuku and event that happen to all five of 5. It was completely different than what i was expecting.

Of course i decided to watch this for Arashi. And well....their characters were extremely funny, weird, and cool. especially Ohno, he has an act at acting...weird haha.

I really loved the theme for this movie. It has a rock vibe but is still pop-like Arashi.

all in all, it's a really cute movie & it doesn't hurt that all 5 arashi members are in this movie. for how, I guess, plain the plot sounds, it was a good movie and I rewatch it all the time

To be honest, when it comes to Samurai or back in the day Japanese movies, I'm not the first one in line to watch. But decided to watch this with my dad and I was honestly surprised at how much I actually liked it.

Longest fight scene i have EVER seen. It was pretty glory at certain parts but I dealt with it. Loved the cast, and the fight scenes didn't look choreographed, which is a A+ in my books.

Of course this movie isn't for everyone but if you're in the mood for an action movie, i would highly recommend this one.

This is probably one of the best war movies I've ever seen without getting bored or confused. I actually had to watch this for History back in high school (had a list of war movies) and I just picked this one because I love learning about WWll and it was the only Japan war movie.

To my surprise when I started it Ninomiya's face appeared. Same with Ken Watanabe. (didn't look up the cast, just watched it on netflix lol) Ninomiya is a great actor and meshed well with Ken, who is just one of thee best Japanese actors I know. The supporting cast was also great.

The movie mainly shows the Japanese side of WWll for the battle of Iwo Jima. it also showed the horror of the battle but also some good which is weird to say for a war movie. to some people it can be a little..glory but i didn't think it was too bad.

the reason why I rated music so high is because i absolutely loved the instrumental music that was used for this movie. It puts you into a bittersweet mood.

Obviously this movie isn't for everyone, since I know a lot of people could care less about history, but people should give this movie a try.

I wasn't really expecting to like this movie since I am more into the romance that is with 2 people face to face. I was pleasantly surprised though that even though the two main characters are only talking to each other through a cell phone you could still tell they had a little romance going on.

It was a cute movie and sometimes makes you wonder about what you'll leave behind in the future years. I think the storyline was good and liked the main girl and boy.

It's nice to kind of get away from the typical romance movies or movies where someone travels through time and not an object so that was another thing I like. I will probably rewatch this again in the future ~
