I don’t watch GMP, and while I agree princess silver is very lacking in a lot of way, at least, it doesn’t…
Thank you so much. I have started watching this drama, and 2 episodes in, I'm hooked. Really glad I gave it another chance. Love the story line. Love the female lead (love women who can fight).
Like any dramas the beginning is always slow, confusing, lame, draggy, uninteresting, unexciting or where is this…
You have convinced me! Yes, I'm going to take my chance. I trust your words, as I know you're a historical/wuxia veteran. I'm going to start binge watching this drama to catch up. Thanks so much!
So the description says that the male lead is in another relationship when female lead comes back.Is it so?I cannot…
Yes, you should watch this drama. There are no annoying characters at all. Everyone is just normal people doing normal things. Friendships, kindness, true love, puppy love, school, work, families, etc. Everything is what we see within our own life.
Wish the production team has been more careful and attentive to the details more diligently. Though not a big deal, but it affects the overall professionalism of the production. When JR got home after breaking up with ZZ, it was already 11:30 PM. His mother came into his room, sat down with him. His hand went across her back, his watch said 4:10. (JR, you cannot turn back the clock and try to redo things. What is done is done!)
Does this drama warrant more than 50 hours of our life to pursue? I love wuxia and am deciding if I should give…
Thanks! I tried Princess Silver with high expectation but couldn't stay on it even for the first episode. Maybe I'll come back to Princess Silver again later. Right now, I'm inundated with so many dramas I want to watch. Can't finish watching them if I don't binge watch, which I can do now. It's SUMMER BREAK, YAY!

Thanks so much for your comments. I watched the first episode and thought I could continue, and seek what others think. I will certain start watching this drama. Thank you again.
I really loved this drama at the start for being a mature, slow-burn wuxia romance, but now I shamelessly love…

Poor acting, dumb screenplay. confusing timeline. I wish they have made it more serious like the way they show it in the trailer, the villains should really look like real villains (really bad, immoral, cruel etc but not silly and cute), the ML and FL more authentic. Sigh! This could have been a good drama. To continue or not to continue?
No I don’t think anyone is enjoying that part of the story but it is pretty realistic. I think all parties should…
Well said. That's exactly how I feel about JR and ZZ too. There should be a lot of compromises if one seriously wants a relationship to work. To ensure a successful marriage, there are even more sacrifices. As it is, it seems the sacrifice is just one sided. JR sacrifices his work he loves so much in Italy and returns to China (of course he does it also for his mom as he knows she would have been happier living in China). Whereas for ZZ's part, she insists she cannot move an inch; she loves her job too much that she's willing to sacrifice her boyfriend.
As far as SPC is concerned, now that you mentioned he's has been trying to sabotage JR's and ZZ's relationship from the beginning, yes, well put. He does it just out of selfishness - he's in love with ZZ and wants to get her, disregard of how she feels about JR.
Although I cannot condone with what JR has done in forcing ZZ to quit, I can see it through his perspectives; he feels he is going to lose ZZ if he lets ZZ remain with SPC because SPC, like it or not, has the financial means and charm to conquer any girls.
My heart aches for JR. On the brighter side, I would ask him to let go of ZZ, knowing it would be hard for him to fall in love with another girl again. But the world is big. Never say never. Furthermore, who is to say one has to get married to be happy (though his mother says so and he would have wanted to please his mom)?
Jin Ran, you idiot! How could you submit the resignation letter because you want her to resign? She's not even your wife! Even if she is your wife, you still have no right to! You dumbo!
