Saying SSK is more charismatic than KJW is an insane statement lmao. SSK is known for and criticized for being a rather wooden actor.

He's one of the leads, his actions mattered for the entire story. How do you skip him and even know what's going on?

I have zero hopes for this. The original was so good and different than any other Korean drama. Everyone bitching about the actor changes are completely justified. The leads were the show. The actors gave life to their characters. Someone else coming in and replacing them will never feel right, the immersion is completely lost. SJK and KJW brought so much to their characters. LJG is a good actor and I'm sure if he was in the original he would have been great, but he's not Eun Seom/Saya. Eun Seom and Saya were created by SJK. Yes a writer wrote his lines, but it was SJK who made the characters what they were. SSK is a very mediocre actor and even if she were in the original she wouldn't be as good as KJW I'm sorry, I do not understand why they brought her in.

I was so invested in the original and heartbroken when they left on a cliffhanger. After years of waiting this is an utter disappointment.

ZLY herself was disappointed in Legend of Fei . She was a fan of the novel but the drama didn't live up to expectations.

They're divorced and she was a household name before they got married. Her dramas get high viewership because she's cultivated a fanbase now for over a decade, appearing in a large number of productions. She's been in a lot of idol dramas but has in recent years branched out to do more serious work. I wouldn't say the "most" famous, because it's impossible to narrow it down to one person. But she's very popular.

Loved Sun Li and Luo Jin in IWFYABH. I'm excited for another collab.

In Girls' Generation 1979 the SML gets the girl. Born Again also might qualify? There are two male leads but the one she ends up with very much so feels like a second lead.

I'm definitely going to watch it. I don't mind a childish character when they're done right and there is growth from the character. I don't trust the comments bashing Ren Min as they're the same people who loved Love Between Fairy and Devil where the FL was extremely childish for like 95% of the drama and the FL wasn't a good enough actress to sell it for me. I'm not the biggest Xiao Zhan fan, nothing against him, but I didn't hop on The Untamed craze back in 2019 so I just never felt the hype. He's a fine actor in the stuff I've seen him in, but honestly I'm more interested in The Longest Promise for Ren Min. She's impressed me in everything I've seen of hers and it's been a long time since I've seen a good master-disciple kind of xianxia so I'm excited to watch it.

Hopefully the little shit has matured a bit. His behavior towards Ren Min really ruined his image in my eyes. He's a lot older now so hopefully he's less of a douche.

I get that people like Yanxi more because it's more feminist and fast-paced, but it's also extremely unrealistic. I liked Ruyi more. It was super depressing and slow-paced, but the acting was brilliant and the story far more realistic. But I do understand why others enjoyed Yanxi.

Palace on the other hand was such a joke compared to Scarlet Heart. It still makes me mad lmao

Yu Zheng is a very petty and bitter little man whose best work is behind him. He's also a blatant plagiarist (Scarlet Heart isn't the only one!) so I don't know why anyone takes him seriously.

I never thought this before, but in Wild Bloom she reminds me so much of Wu Qian. Her looks and mannerisms are so much like her.

I haven't watched it yet but I have a feeling it's got to be the directors. I've seen her in multiple other roles and she's a great actress, one of the best out of the post 95 gen.
