The description certainly sounds interesting but I'm in the minority where I didn't care for Love Between Fairy and Devil and with YCY as the lead I do not have high hopes. I really hope I'm proved wrong and that it's great. DYX doesn't usually disappoint.
17 and 22 is not much of the difference anyways. 17 is soon to be 18. This happens a lot actually, to me too when…
I know your friends' age gap isn't drastic but you used the fact that they're still together as some proof that age gaps between minors and adults is okay when that situation is not equatable to larger gaps like the 17/22yr olds in this drama.
I'm sorry but plenty of other factors DO matter. A 17 year old, no matter their personality and maturity, is not able to consent to a relationship with an adult because they don't have the life experience or a developed enough brain to do so. In an above comment I defended this 17/22 relationship in the realms of a drama because it's NOT REAL. In real life, it's disgusting. Only a messed up 22 year old dates a 17 year old.
I really liked the first episode. The chemistry was amazing and things moved so quickly, it was refreshing. Everything after that has kind of stunk. It's bland. The leads' interactions became typical kdrama bickering. The ML's memory and business plot lines are incredibly boring. I dropped at ep 9.
so he is 17 years old to understand? and she is 22 years old. Was it ok if the opposite happened? She should be…
In real life I absolutely agree with you, that age gap is not okay. Character ages in a drama? Who gives a shit. The actors are all adults, I don't see the issue.

I mean, I'm not trying to shit on your friend, but back in the old days 15 year olds married guys in their 20s/30s/etc. and stayed married until they died. Staying in a relationship doesn't mean the relationship is successful or healthy. There are many parts of the world where unhealthy age gaps are still commonplace, that doesn't mean they're okay or good for the well-being of the younger person. It's not "judging" someone's life choices, it's protecting a young person with little life experience from being taken advantage of by an older person.
I get that people like her, and you're totally entitled to that. But she overacted so much and was super unnatural. She didn't feel like a normal person. It felt like acting. Maybe she's gotten better since this or maybe this role in particular she just couldn't get into character. Idk but I didn't like her here.
Wow...what a sageuk. It's been ages since I've watched one that ripped out my heart like this. A good historical…
Can I also just say how much I actually loved the SML? Not in a swoony omg I love him kind of way, but his character was so refreshing. Usually SMLs in sageuks are in love with the FL and they're these self-sacrificing guys. Not here...nope lmao he was a menace to our FL. He wasn't completely good or bad. He made me nervous. He was such a good character.
Wow...what a sageuk. It's been ages since I've watched one that ripped out my heart like this. A good historical usually leaves me with a pit in my stomach and man was I sick after this. It had a slow start but built up momentum and got better every episode. Not a perfect drama but it made me feel something, which dramas rarely do these days.
Just...don't ruin it like they did A Love So Beautiful. That remake butchered everything charming about the original. I'm also very unsure about this FL. Tan Songyun isn't conventionally beautiful but that added to her portrayal of a quirky and funny little sister type character. This FL here is very beautiful and I've never seen her act in a way that is "weird" or out of the norm. Someone like Hyeri who portrayed Deokseon is who I pictured for the FL, but I hope I'm pleasantly surprised here. I'm also very curious who they're going to get for Zhang Xincheng's role. Imo he was the heart of the original, so I hope they get someone great.
What do these people want? Not everyone can play the Fairy Sister Wang Yuyan unless they're a classic beauty.…
It was actually four years ago but basic math can be difficult for people such as yourself. Your comment makes no sense but that's because you don't have an actual rebuttal. Have fun talking to yourself.

Your account was literally made a couple of days ago. Very believable that I'm not talking to just one person lmao. You're psychotic, dude. It's not normal to be so deranged over a celebrity. Get help.

I'm happy for you though.
Or sorry that happened.

I really wish the comments weren't flooded with links. It's getting ridiculous.
