The ex is handled quite good (thanks to both women bonding before knowing they are love rivals). There are two…
They are acquainted (and somewhat friendly) before they realise they're after the same man. So SFL is annoying only for a short period of time and doesn't reach the crazy mode of most Chinese second leads. She's quite likeable in the end.
the way they show her flashback’s tells something that she somehow has feelings for him even earlier on. I CANT…
A specially considering she lived abroad for so many years. Either of them could confess during that time and bear the consequences as it didn't involved facing each other every day.

I don't know why people hope that the FL also had feelings for the ML before now. That would be ridiculous: two people know each other almost whole their live and they weren't avle to communicate their feelings for years?! To the point that she almost married another guy? If that is the case, their relationship wouldn't be romantic but dysfunctional.
The problem for some is that even when you want to give it a chance it's simply hard to watch.I was interrupted…
Exact opposite for me. Don't know what I expected her "dream" to be but now I am dissapointed. I don't care about the food and I'm afraid that the drama will be dragging for me if there's a lot of cooking. And being fascinated by cooking.
I think this series is not suitable for people who like things to go fast and don't remember any details. Especially…
The problem for some is that even when you want to give it a chance it's simply hard to watch. I was interrupted yesterday while watching ep 5. And I don't really feel like coming back to watch them messing around with all the onggis. And the ex, to top it all. One is a boring trope (the ex) and the other I don't care much about.
Honestly, I think I'd rather get more screen time for the other people in the drama than watch the main couple.

I understand that you want to move on and leave the girl you like behind, but I hate it when a completely different…
Life isn't a drama. You don't get a synopsis which says who is the other part of the "main couple". Sometimes people believe they're in love until proven differently.
Watching this drama is strange. I'm not passionately interested what happens in the next episode and even struggled to finish this week episodes. But at the same time I think there's going to be great story told in this drama so I'm willing to wait. I'm thinking there are so many characters given a good portion of screen time (not only the second leads but also the parents, and the parents as individuals at that!). I feel rather than being a simply rom com, it's going to be some kind of 'saga' thing when you get stories from two generations and from people who made different choices in similar situations so you can make some observations and comparisons.
At least, that's my hope for this drama, because as a romance it sucks ;)
Yeah, that's probably what bothered me so much! That their relationship was too perfect to be real! They didn't have to overcome any problems so it didn't seem as they are really able to do so (if ever faced with, for example, one being in the hospital while the other can't come to visit or something).
It's watchable but gets boring a lot. I didn't like how stiff was the ML (in real life someone so concentrated on mathematics and unable to grasp the social aspects of life would be diagnosed with Asperges or something). I couldn't stand how dumb was the FL. She was scammed twice, yet didn't learn to be careful, she didn't know how to be an adult and she couldn't be on time for anything. I hated that she gave up the biggest chance in her career for no other reason that she couldn't be away from her husband. The drama was, supposedly, about her growing into an adult and for that message her going abroad for some time would be great and could show how she learnt to live on her own. Also, it was ridiculous that 2 excellent man would love her for her simplicity🫣 I didn't like how every problem that could be solved in one or two episodes was being dragged for eternity. A specially the mopping ML's ex friend who was doing the talk "why her?" at least three times. All the same ,all redundant. Honestly, when I sum it up I'm suprised I managed to complete the series.
when does the couple get tgt (like actually, not fake)
They start to like each other pretty quick but then any progress of their relationship is dragging way too much. They don't communicate their feelings and you have to wait ages for their first kiss.
The last scene with her looking kind of disappointed that he's not calling her but someone else probably can be treated as openish ending. Only for me it was signalling there are some cracks in their facade of "thr happy, busy couple ". Maybe without this last 2 minutes, I'd feel the end was happier.
It seemed they continue to live their parallel lives that were successful but made it difficult to live together (in the same place at the same time).
I just wished the drama showed less rockets and more their couple dynamics. For example in "You are my hero" the leads both had demanding work and FL even went abroad for 2 years for training. But it was showed how they dealt with this as a couple which benefited the story. Here there's not one obstacle for them showed (for example what would happen if for a year their nor working periods weren't synchronised? How she gets older and has t deal with a change in her celebrity status while being only part-time married?)
Im on episode 2 and she just asked him if he has feelings for her AND proposed to him when they have literally…
I watched the same version. I share the sentiment of WTF is going on with the plot of hey, we're strangers who don't even like each other, let's get married and treat the marriage seriously. If you can ignore how jarring the setting is, it's get better later (but gets worse again close to the end).
This i s a good drama. Cute and fluffy with a happy ending not only for the main leads but for the secondary leads.…
I agree! A specially the last episode where she has an impromptu meeting at work and comes late to the party. It would be cool if she was showed to set some boundaries and saying she has a train to take. But she writes home to say she might not be able to come. Which is exactly the thing her parents did and what was showed as her biggest childhood problem.🤦🏻♀️

And this whole thing about a painting that wasn't even mentioned later on🙈
