That immediate cut to Rintaro screaming after he invites Nagisa for a ride lol. And that last part of EP7!! Again, Satomi and Ayano's acting and chemistry together is just *chef's kiss*
some of the lyrics: "Close your eyes for a little while And hold on to my arms Those who steal your smile, I’m stealing you away from them Let’s begin this tale, without giving it a name If you give me the signal to take you away
I'll steal you away from here Through the night sky We'll leap across the cities, cities just like jewels Let me show you a world more dazzling than any you could have dreamed of Let's cross the seas And ride on the spring breeze Across the rainbows and scatter them across the sky Whether it's today and tomorrow, you can stay true to yourself Nothing is impossible when I'm with you"
the lyrics sound like they're from Rintaro's pov <3 i also love that this is probably back number's most happiest, lovey dovey song yet lol
Rintaro calling Nagisa, Mio at the end!! and notice how Rintaro's clothes are getting less darker and more lightBased…
I know there's other versions of Urashima Taro but the one I'm familiar with and was referring to are the commonly known version where Taro turns into an old man after opening the jewel box and then also the sequel in Otogi-zoshi of the Muromachi period
Nagisa and Rintaro are so soft together during that intimate couch scene in EP 6! and Rintaro smiling after getting…
Rintaro calling Nagisa, Mio at the end!! and notice how Rintaro's clothes are getting less darker and more light
Based on that ending, I think they're doing a reversed version or a different take on the Urashima Taro folktale.
Instead of Taro turning into a crane, it's Otohime herself turning to a human so instead of Taro turning into a crane, getting to live happily ever after together with Otohime, it's Otohime who turns into a human instead, getting to live happily ever after with Taro. The next episode teases Mio crying at the sea, I'm thinking it'll be about Nagisa realizing she's no longer the undersea princess or realizes so and wants to be one again.
Nagisa and Rintaro are so soft together during that intimate couch scene in EP 6! and Rintaro smiling after getting a phone call from Nagisa aw, even when it was just a short phone call. Satomi & Ayano's chemistry is soooo carrying this drama, the writing might not be anything out of the ordinary but these two actors are effortlessly showing why they're considered top actors despite its questionable writing.
Though the writer should be giving Satomi & Ayano better storylines of their caliber ;_;
I agree with Furritsu, Nagata Takato deserves to be the main lead in some drama! Just the way his character goes from his "Yu-tan" persona to the real Yu-tan and switches back to his "Yu-tan" persona was impressive, I liked his performance in EP7.

Though I'm unsure which version of the Urashima Taro folktale does the manga refers to, but I do want to know if anyone knows.
