#ドラゴン桜 (Dragon Zakura) trending #1 on Twitter in Japan after episode 7 aired! I'll stop spamming this because pretty much this show starts trending on Twitter every week 🔥
this drama is the biggest disappointment of the season for me
I feel the same too, had high hopes for all of NTV dramas this season and I wanted to like it but seems like the only thing that's keeping the viewership ratings considerably high for this drama is the cast itself.
Hmm... I am not having an issue, EP 3 is on DramaCool.

Pretty good for our first actual student that wants to take the class with a background story. Maybe I missed…
After everyone go on their separate ways after Sakuragi gave Iwai and Ohashi some lecturing and the chairman saying Sakuragi threw a student into the sea in EP1, Koichiro clears up the confusion and tells Sakuragi that he wants to join the special class.
Sakamoto was never a character in the first season but they explained that he was an underclassman in the same school as Mizuno was in and they both entered Todai around the same time.
I think it's still a bit too early to dismiss Yoneyama's revenge plot since we don't exactly know where this is going just yet but I trust the writers to know what they're doing and almost certainly not forget about the studying aspect of the show.
"I'm not lonely. If Meguru takes one step further, I only have to move forward alongside him too." I love their relationship. I love the characters in this.
Oh they did it, they finally mentioned Urashima Taro in the drama! How cute did Nagisa & Rintaro look in their costumes and Rintaro pointing at people all grumpy with his shark hand was funny lol
I thought it was a good episode, they explained and showed a lot of things like Rintaro's backstory (though we could guess what happened in the earlier episodes), more of Nagisa's backstory and what's Kamoi's deal is with Kotaro. I knew Eitaro was secretly up to something since ep 1 or 2 (it was rather subtle) but I'm still unsure on what exactly he's planning. And it was nice seeing Nagisa consulting Rintaro~ not to mention, https://i.imgur.com/c0nbcoQ.jpg the ring's been subtly shown since ep1
also what happened at the end, was that journalist sent by Kotaro and was him falling and supposedly getting assaulted part of the plan as well? He could've faked that fall better lol, Kamoi barely touched him.
This is a really unique drama, never seen anything like this where they showcase locations in Japan while providing information on them at the end. All I have to say is, watch it yourself and see if it's for you.
I forgot they had replaced the actor for Saki's father in EP4. It's unfortunate as to what happened with Sano Shiro and I wish him a speedy recovery but I'm not very fond of the actor replacing his role. He doesn't seem to have the same personality as Saki's father at all and I wasn't buying it, maybe I'll get used to him eventually.
