See, that's 2 dramas in 7 years.
Now If I ask you to show where the ML is dedicated or shown to only ever love FL & the FL has liked/loved/dated multiple men, we can probably name dozens from this calender year alone.
My posts are to show that these dramas are crap. Not going to mince words. These dramas are crap simply because the writers have taken the worst tropes and are rehashing them repeatedly. They are not even making an effort to write dramas with different kinds ML and FL. If it's a romance Kdrama or Cdrama, 9 out of 10 of them have the same ML and FL we have already seen.
That's just shitty writing and my posts are targeting the writers most of all. The attack on characters and dramas is by product of having to show these writers as lazy and stupid.

There are many many kdramas and Cdramas I absolutely loved, even from this year, Sadly, most of them don't fall under romance as central theme anymore.

So, predicting THIS drama is not rocket science. We have seen this ML in dozens of Kdramas, this year alone. And we have also seen similar FL in dozens of Kdramas...
The characters hold no surprise, the ML is a simp because that's the taste of viwers and writers of this drama. They just want the ML as pure as possible, unsoiled by other women and only for the FL. The FL on other hand does not have such restrictions. in fact, the more men, the merrier.

Let me us examine what these unsuccessful relationships usually contains, holding hands, going on dates, dinners, movies, kissing, sex, sleeping next to each other after sex etc etc.

In fact, the only reason she came back is NOT because her boyfriend cheated. It's because she got screwed at her job. If that did not happen, she would have moved on the next boyfriend, exactly like she did the few other times before.

On other hand, the ML is, yuck...he probably is the simpiest and wimpiest Kdrama ML yet. Cdramas have had worse but this ML in this drama set the barometer high for Kdrama writers wrt 'holy shit that ML is crap' set up.
We have seen this set up in hundreds of these Asian dramas. the writers going extra mile to create scenarios for FL to be with as many men as possible. And the same writers would invent weird diseases and issues no one heard to make ML not even have a female dog next to him.
At this point the writers of these dramas are so obvious with these tropes, it's a surprise not more people are calling out this shit.

She pretty much had zero place in her heart or mind about the ML. She was done and dusted and if not for her circumstances, she would not even be back. She did not give a crap about ML, not even a bit, not an iota. If not for her cheating 5th Boy Friend and her own career sabotaged, she would be happily enjoying herself in arms of another man doing job she loved.
Most romance Kdrama and Cdrama ML's are simps but this guy makes it to the top 10 list of the best wimpy simps in Kdrama/Cdrama land. The writers left no stone unturned to show how wimpy and pathetic this ML is, just like most romance ML's in this industry.
After spectacular first season, the second season is above average.

But my point always has been that this is the proto type ML in most romance Kdramas and Cdramas. THAT is the issue.

While ML is shown very dedicated to the woman he loved, FL is like meh, I have other men and had no problems moving on.
