Does this have hints of romance like The Untamed? It's adapted from a BL drama so I was wondering.
Birth of The Drama King has no BL moment only brotherhood relationship. It's very much like The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty. Still it's very sweet. I would say that the novel/web series have more BL. Unfortunately, there are too many hints that they are true brother to be BL.
That's good! Many don't like her as she picked up roles in the past that lots of screaming/screeching lol. But…
I finished Ancient Detective in one day!! OMG I love it!! Thank you for the recommendation. It's so good. I hope there's a 2nd season. The drama played just like a modern murder mystery but in Wuxia era. Again thank you for the post
I like your list of favorite dramas. I pretty much watched most of them. I was wondering if I want to watch Ancient Detective. Now, I think I'm going to hop on another Currently Watch drama. Lol. I actually just finish Mystic Pop on Netflix and I love the actress.
If they could grow a six leaf crystal out of an ice nucleus, why didn't they do so from the start? Why embark…
Growing the ice nucleus takes I believe ten thousand year while gathering those the crystal pieces take maybe days/months thus was much easier since they were readily available. Unfortunately because of the fire clan, that task of gathering the crystal became difficult.
For those who like to skip. I would suggest watch ep 1-10 then skip to ep 36. The main couple which was Ye Lan and Su Mu did not end up together. You'll see why in ep 10. You automatically know who the female lead and the male lead; it's so cliche because whoever the female lead meets first is the one who she loves forever and ever. I think Wei Min is kind of cute. The in-between eps are about Wei Min and Ye Lan; how their relationship develops. Unfortunately, the female in the end still did not love Wei Min. She cried a lot because of the triangle. Wei Min gets heartbroken when he found out that Ye Lan was "fake" loving him. Wei Min character developed from a coward, child-like to a better leader. Unfortunately, he also had to chop off Su Mu's head (leader of Jingnan) to presented to the other clans to say that Jingnan betrayed HuangFu clan thus to unite the clans to fight the foreign clans. The ending should have ended when Ye Lan danced in the bamboo forrest for Su Mu (now dead) and her promise. I don't know why but I thought she would die too after HuangFu + other won the battle against the foreigners.
Here is a bizzare out of this world theory: What if Yeon Woo kidnap Yoo Han and carve out Yoo Han's face? From "Color Rush information vault" post that mono is sensitive to a probe's face pattern so if Yeon Woo preserve Yoo Han's face then he can see color anywhere and anytime. If Yeon Woo wear the face then everything time Yeon Woo stare at the mirror he'll see Yoo Han and get the color back. I know this weird and pretty gross. I pretty much does not like the idea but it was a thought. I really hope for a happy ending. Korean BL are usually sad so I just hope for the better.
The drama is good but the company is horrible... Just search for "Harisdeelan". The company change the cast 3 times and the actor who played Mek won't be in Season 2
I honestly feel like they will give a clean ,perfect and an amazing ending to this beautiful series which will…
With this type of drama getting more viewers and becoming popular, I hope in the future, they will do another one with LGBTQ related especially shounen-ai (sweet cute moments with no yaoi).
MF = main female; MM = Main Male I actually get it; season 2 - the MF died so in season 1 MM was searching for the girl for a thousand years. At the end he died to save her. It's like they paid each other back. If you look at the final picture of season 1, the MF survived and was standing by herself on the cliff. I am satisfied with this ending because MM knew he had found the one (hence the necklace), he was satisfied and became bubbles because he's not letting her be the sacrifice to their star-crossed fate again (Season 2). The story was pretty sad but the MM reversed their fate by dying in Season 1. It's possible that at the end where the camera zoom out and the blue light shines, that the FM became the mermaid so she can wait for MM to be reborn (unlikely but a happier theory).
This was below average. No chemistry with the main leads. I think that the main actor and actress had a fight…
Also ML doesn't even have a spine. He was like doll being by Tian Yao and Yun Shang. He should have reject Tian Yao out right and refused her from the start before this whole jealousy and plotting began. So indecisive. Not a real man if he keeps on holding both of them.
This was below average. No chemistry with the main leads. I think that the main actor and actress had a fight behind the scenes and didn't like each other anymore so they choose to be distanced. Where are the kisses?? The mood is not there and ML had the frowny face all the time; it's cute but does it have to be there all the time in the dramas. I actually pity the 2nd male. He literally deserve her and she should have given up on the ML. I have to agree that this drama was rushed and it's one thing after another. I feel like this could end earlier and incorporate more details.
