On Story of Yanxi Palace Nov 9, 2018
Finished Yanxi Palace and loves it to the bit. been a long time since watching a palace/haram drama and not dropped it in btw. the leads acting was good! and I've left with a mild second lead syndrome as the story itself tried to stay in a healthy road.
watching this I seriously wonder how on the earth all these smart men saw what they are doing with these pretty, awesome talented women by caged them and reduced them to son birthing machines and yet had the heart to continue that. somehow I saw it better and more clear in Yanxi Palace. the women who turned crazy or manipulative were damaged and wronged and it really sadden me watching them rott!
I do like to know if the ending they gave to the second lead man and the heroin was in the book or they were forced to attached it to the story by the pressure of fans.
and a side note: how many beautiful handsome actor China has? Xu Kai beauty blown my mind!

more than 550 people has rated this then I was sure it has been subbed. it's 28 episodes and I just found first 6 episodes subbed!
are you guys watch it without sub? there's no recaps from episode 7 too! why such a frequently recommended drama never picked up by any sites?

based on method acting exercises you start with messing with your own mind and body since beginning.... I think you are right about method acting is like opening the pandora box! it's a dangerous method should be handle with cautious.
yet it is pretty popular as lots of great performances we remember are fruits of that unseen pain that actors have gone through by method acting.
acting is not a healthy job anyway. if they accept hard roles which good actors do, it affects them. insomnia or other mental problems are not rare between performers. this handsome beautiful men and women who we love and look up to are wounded souls... their job is to be molded in different roles and characters then how could we expect them to not be effected? in general they need a lot of mental support specially if they want to take method acting and it is obviously nor for everybody. some people are more fragile.
I hope he is able to overcome the pressure and back to normal life soon.

OK! I'm a big fam of Oguri Shun yet somehow the japanese version of this didn't clicked with me. I love the girl here and enjoy k-version.
but the editing is somehow amateur. what is DramaX? first time here about them. but as I said I am going to continue this for now.

it starts pretty good... dark and enticing! but after 6-8 episodes there's nothing interesting there...ok maybe Lee Se Joo & Choi Soo Ji and even adult of the drama have interesting storyline but again the main leads story became too boring after a while... such a waist for actors!

loved loved loved this modern version of Journey to The West where the original characters of this 16th century Chinese novel are placed in the modern-day Korea.
it's probably on top of my fantasy asian-drama list along with ten milles of peach blossom... followed by rest of the titles: Faith, My Girlfriend is a Gomiho, Scarlet, Gu Family Book and Arang and the Magistrate.
Very well done. Kudos to Hong sisters. I am going to rewatch this drama.

After 6 episodes, this drama doesn't seem to be another typical sugary sweet love story with all the same old…
dose it? I loved "On the Way to the Airport"!
ok I give this a shot.

Love, love, love the OST for this show. Has that classic Kdrama feel and perfectly encapsulates Misty's atmosphere…
I love the OST too. after listening to it for days I've started to listen to other songs of Lee Seung Chul. the man has a heavenly voice and I remembered him in Happy Together with TVXQ episode. he's funny man very in love with her daughter, he was trying to catch a worthy son in law in the program :)))
but seriously I am obssesed with Painful Love track.
